Tired of too many ads? go ad free now This divine decision stems from his desperation to stop his mother, Anjani Maata, from leaving Kishkindha forever, believing her absence will restore peace. As time races against his mission, the big question looms—will Hanuman reach Ayodhya in time, or does a deeper divine plan await? Sayli Salunkhe, who plays the pivotal role of Anjani Maata, opened up about portraying this heart-wrenching moment: 'Portraying Anjani Maata has been incredibly emotional for me. As a mother, she is torn between guilt and love, believing that her presence is the reason for unrest in Kishkindha. The decision to leave her son, Lord Hanuman, is not just painful, it's soul-crushing.' She further added, 'This scene truly captures the depth of a mother's sacrifice and how far a woman can go to protect her child, even if it means breaking her own heart. As an actor, I felt every moment of Anjani's silence, her strength, and her inner storm. It's a reminder that sometimes the greatest acts of love come in the form of letting go.' With Aan Tiwari as the young Lord Hanuman, Arav Chowdharry as Kesari, Sayli Salunkhe as Anjani, and Mahir Pandhi in a dual role as Bali and Sugreev, the show continues to deliver soul-stirring drama. After the epic battle with Shani Dev (Rishabh Pawar), Veer Hanuman now ventures into an emotionally charged phase, testing the limits of devotion, love, and divine destiny.

RCB fans in Bengaluru seek divine blessings, root for special holiday

Bengaluru: The heart for sure will skip a beat and time will stand still for that nanosecond for RCB fans in the city and beyond should Royal Challengers Bengaluru go on to win their first IPL title today. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now So strong are sentiments right here, right now that many RCB supporters have written to chief minister Siddaramaiah, requesting for a state holiday if RCB are crowned champions. As the hours, minutes and seconds are tantalisingly counted down for RCB to face Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the title-clash in Ahmedabad this evening, Bengaluru has a prayer on its lips and a heart full of hope that in the 18th edition of the competition, the crown will be theirs – even as chants of "Ee Sala Cup Namde" echo across homes, pubs, and public gatherings here. With RCB making the final after 11 years, Bengalureans are leaving no stone unturned to 'ensure' their team lift the coveted trophy. Fans across the city have performed special pujas at Hanuman and Ganesha temples, with a 'homa' organised at Chamundeshwari temple — the deity regarded as Karnataka's state goddess. Clad in the ubiquitous RCB team red shirts, hundreds of fans, led by Chamaraja MLA K Harish Gowda, gathered at the Amrutheshwara temple on Dewan's Road, waving posters of their favourite stars. A special homa was also performed to invoke divine blessing for the team's win. Not to be left behind, the city's streets and vehicles are equally resplendent in RCB colours. While car stickers bearing the team's name are a common sighting, one die-hard fan has taken things to the next level — wrapping his entire XUV500 with images of RCB players in a stunning tribute to the team. Bengaluru's pubs and resto-bars are fully booked for the night, with match screenings planned across these venues. PVR INOX has announced special screenings of the final in 30 cities, with tickets being snapped up faster than you'd take to finish reading this article! Vinay Chandrashekar of Long Boat Brewing Co in Marathahalli said they've seen an overwhelming response to Tuesday's final. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now "On a regular Tuesday, we see about 300 guests, but tomorrow, we're expecting more than 900. We're not a dedicated sports bar, but the energy around this match is incredible," he said. Echoing a similar sentiment, Biswa Bhusbad Linka, the group general manager at House of Commons, said: "Each of our seven outlets seats 300 to 400 people, and we're completely booked. All four of our associated brands are packed, too. People are calling us non-stop for reservations. The energy is absolutely electric," he said. The RCB fever has even reached the corridors of power. Deputy chief minister D K Shivakumar expressed his support, saying: "Bengaluru boys RCB will win in Ahmedabad. The govt and the people of Karnataka are eagerly waiting. Many fans are travelling to watch the match. Let us all hope and pray for a win."

1 2 3 Kendrapada: Three temples were looted in Jajpur district on Wednesday night. The thieves stole idols, ornaments and other apparel worth around Rs 20 lakh from the temples at Bhubaneswarpur and Nathsahi villages under Jajpur sadar police station limits. They also looted money from hundis (donation boxes) of the Hanuman temple at Nathasahi village and Ma Tarini and Mahadev temples at Bhubaneswarpur village. The theft in all three temples was first noticed by the priests on Thursday morning. They reported the theft to the temple committees, which informed the police. The burglars broke the front door locks of all the temples and broke open the hundis. "We have registered a case under relevant sections of BNS and investigation is on to nab the culprits," inspector in-charge of Jajpur sadar police station, Sankarsan Dalai, said. "Police have formed a special team to investigate the theft. It may be a long-drawn search. SC orders traditional archaka's service at Anjenya temple

NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court on Tuesday ordered the Karnataka government to forthwith restore services of the traditional archaka at Anjaneya temple, believed to be Lord Hanuman's birthplace situated at Anjanadri Hills Koppal district, and warned the state of consequences if its orders are disobeyed. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In July 2018 when H D Kumaraswamy was heading the state govt, the Koppal district collector under Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Act, 1997, passed an order to acquire the Anjaneya Temple and assumed power to appoint an administrator to manage the temple. The archaka, Shri Vidyadas Babaji, challenged the takeover of the temple by govt. But the HC only allowed him to perform his duties as archaka of the temple till final adjudication of his appeal. It also allowed him to continue with the Sanskrit Pathshala. However, on March 15 this year, the deputy commissioner of Koppal and other officials visited the temple with the Election Commissioner and forcibly appointed another person to perform the temple rituals and harassed him to force the traditional archaka to leave the place. When he accused the officials of contempt of HC's 2018 order, the HC did not give any relief. Appearing for the archaka, advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, informed a partial working day bench of Justices Surya Kant and Dipankar Datta about the way the state govt was attempting to evict the archaka and take full control of the temple and oust the hereditary priest, belonging to Ramanandi community. The bench took a serious view and directed the state officials to scrupulously adhere to the HC's interim orders, failing which contempt proceedings would be drawn against them. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The HC in its interim order on Feb 14, 2023, had directed the officials 'not to create any hindrance or obstruction to the petitioner in performing poojas, Archak duties in the said subject temple and also permit him to continue to do so without any interruption, impediment or hindrance from the respondents, its officials or anyone else.'
