Exclusive - Shubhangi Atre to Priyamvada Kant: TV celebs share their thoughts on Friendship's Day
Actors talk about friends they met on their sets and created a lifelong bond. While lights, cameras, and action bring stories to life on screen, it's the off-screen moments that sometimes leave the deepest impact. This Friendship's Day, actors take a heartfelt walk down memory lane, sharing how bonds formed on set blossomed into lifelong friendships. From spiritual connections to unwavering support through personal trials, these stories show that the strongest friendships often grow in the most unexpected places. These include Priyamvada Kant (Latika, Gharwali Pedwali), Sapna Sikarwar (Bimlesh, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan), and Shubhangi Atre (Angoori Bhabhi, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Priyamvada Kant, aka Latika from Gharwali Pedwali, shares, 'I share a very special bond with Krishna Bhardwaj . We first met eight years ago while working on a show together, and since then, we have remained in constant touch. What makes our friendship unique is the deep spiritual connection we share. Outwardly, we are both hyper and fun-loving, but at heart, we are calm and grounded. That inner stillness is what we truly bond over. Amidst all the chaos and drama on set, we always found comfort in each other's presence. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Are you ready to conquer a planet? Undo Whether it was me supporting him through restlessness or him quietly standing by me in tough times, our friendship is built on mutual understanding and unwavering support—it's peaceful, strong, and rare. ' Sapna Sikarwar, aka Bimlesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, 'Geetanjali and I connected during a shoot years ago, and our bond slowly grew from scene partners to soul sisters. We are both strong-headed, yet we balance each other perfectly. What I love most about her is her compassion. Even in her busiest moments, she thinks of others. Once, I was facing a deeply personal challenge, and she dropped everything to be by my side. She didn't just comfort me; she lifted me with strength. The best part is now we are working on the same show and playing sisters onscreen in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. Ours is a friendship where even silence speaks volumes. In a fast-moving world, she's my constant—a reminder that true friendship isn't about frequency, but presence.' Shubhangi Atre, aka Angoori Bhabi from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, shares, 'I met Megha years ago at an industry event, and instantly felt a warm, honest vibe. That spark turned into a deep friendship over time. I'll never forget a moment during my struggling days in Mumbai when I found myself without a place to stay. In panic, I called Megha. Without hesitation, she said, 'Stay right there, I'm coming,' and took me home. That gesture gave me not just shelter but strength. Megha's honesty and support are her most beautiful traits. She tells you what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. With her, I didn't just find a friend—I found a sister for life.' Priyamvada Kant Reflects on 15-Year Journey

Aasif Sheikh and Geetanjali Mishra on how Yoga changed the lives of these actors
Yoga has long been a source of balance and healing for many, offering a path to physical, emotional, and mental well-being. On this International Yoga Day, artists share how this ancient practice has positively impacted their lives, hoping to inspire others to embrace its benefits. These include Geetanjali Mishra (Rajesh from Happu Ki Ultan Paltan) and Aasif Sheikh (Vibhuti Narayan Mishra from Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai). Geetanjali Mishra, who plays Rajesh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, shares, "Yoga has been a transformative force in my life, especially during emotionally trying times. I used to battle stress-induced overeating, particularly after demanding shooting schedules. Introducing Paschimottanasana (Seated Forward Bend) into my routine helped soothe my nervous system and curb emotional cravings. Another go-to for me is Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (Alternate Nostril Breathing), which acts like a reset button, instantly calming and grounding. These practices have brought mindfulness into my life, helping me become more attuned to my body and emotions. To me, yoga is more than just physical exercise; it's a powerful form of therapy that nurtures inner well-being." Aasif Sheikh, who portrays Vibhuti Narayan Mishra in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, adds, "In our line of work, mental and emotional balance is as important as physical fitness. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 5 Dividend Stocks With Strong Ratings Seeking Alpha Read Now Undo Yoga has been my anchor in this fast-paced world. Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) helps me stay grounded amidst the chaos, especially during long shoots. Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) has strengthened my posture and boosted my energy; it's my daily power-up. I never skip Anulom Vilom, even while travelling; I practice it during my hour-long commute to shoots. It clears my mind and keeps me stress-free. After meals, I sit in Vajrasana for ten minutes to aid digestion; it's incredibly effective. These simple practices have made me calmer, sharper, and more emotionally resilient. For me, yoga is my silent strength, both on and off the screen." Bhabiji Ghar Pe Hain! actor Aasif Sheikh says, "An ideal Budget is one that doesn't burn a hole in a common man's pocket."

Happu Ki Ultan Paltan's Sonal Panvar on the challenges in working in TV, says 'TV is a very hard-working medium, and it really tests your patience'
Sonal Panvar, who is seen as Malaika in Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli's Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, feels television isn't just a job but an emotional experience, a daily practice of discipline, and above all, a medium that still brings families together. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now However, she admits that the routine can get monotonous at times, making it challenging for even the most experienced artists. 'Television is definitely a demanding medium, and the connection with the audience is huge. People see our faces daily, so they start recognising us from the characters we play. 'I feel TV is a great medium, but at the same time, it can become boring because we follow the same process almost every day,' she said. 'TV is a very hard-working medium, and it really tests your patience. Sometimes it gets to your head—you feel like you're just doing a job because you have to finish so many scenes daily. But still, you have to do it with love, especially in my case since I'm doing a comedy show,' she added. But despite the challenges, it's the connection that she builds with the audience on a daily basis that keeps her going. She added, 'These days, people say OTT has taken over, but I still know so many families who sit together, have dinner, and watch a comedy show on TV. Not everyone is always on OTT.' Sonal stresses that TV shows have secured a place for themselves and will remain irreplaceable. She said, 'TV still has its place and charm, and I'm happy to be doing a show like this. After all, not every family wants to sit and cry watching something sad. A light-hearted comedy show is nice for a family to watch together, and that makes me feel good. TV is still a great medium in my eyes, just very hard-working.' Keep reading this space for more updates.
