Danny Dyer 'pulled out all of the stops' for daughter Dani's lavish wedding

EXCLUSIVE: Dani Dyer has married her footballer boyfriend Jarrod Bowen in a stunning ceremony attended by family and friends, with the reality star looking every inch the beautiful bride Danny Dyer is said to have pulled out 'all of the stops' for his daughter Dani's lavish wedding to West Ham player Jarrod Bowen in a 'thank you' as the actor is said to owe some of his career to his eldest. The former Love Island star looked every inch the beautiful bride on Saturday as she tied the knot to Jarrod in a stunning ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. The big day came four years after Dani and Jarrod's relationship began, with the pair meeting while the former was navigating life as a single mum to Santiago, her son with her ex, Sammy Kimmence. ‌ Beginning as neighbours, friendship blossomed into love for the couple and in May 2023, they had their own twin daughters, Summer and Star. And now that the duo are husband and wife, a source tells Mirror how Dani is hoping to have a long-lasting marriage like her own parents; Danny and Joanne Mas. ‌ 'Family is everything to Dani and Danny is the same way. He pulled out all of the stops to make sure it's a wedding no one would forget for his little girl – the best day of her life. He adores her and actually says he's got her to thank for some things because Dani winning Love Island boosted his career too. 'Dani feels she has found her soulmate in Jarrod and it's a relief after she's had so many ups and downs. Everyone else loves him too. Jarrod and Danny get on so well, which was important to Dani, so it was always going to be a wonderful celebration for the family.' ‌ Danny and Joanne were childhood sweethearts, but they only got married in 2016. They have been together for more than three decades – and their relationship has survived a few bumps in the road. Shortly after the birth of their first child, Dani, the couple ended up taking a short break from each other before reuniting and having two more children, Sunnie and Arty. In an episode of ITV series The Assembly, which was broadcast in April, Danny, 47, spoke about their relationship, which has survived multiple cheating allegations throughout his career. Describing how he felt about his wife after their wedding, Danny said, 'To be standing here with the girl I grew up with – looking so beautiful in her wedding dress – that is a lovely thing. Jo is my best girl, the love of my life. Without her, I would be nothing.' ‌ Dani previously admitted she was sceptical about getting serious with Jarrod and couldn't believe he wanted to 'take on' both Dani and her young son, who is now four. Opening up about their early days, Dani revealed it was in fact her dad who warned her she was going to 'lose him' if she didn't stop trying to 'put him off'. It was her parents' advice that gave her the motivation to make things work with the footballer. Speaking to Giovanna Fletcher on her Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, Dani said, 'I don't know why I kept doing that to him. In the end, I was getting to a point where my mum and dad were like, 'Listen, Dani, you're going to end up losing him. Stop it! He wants to take you and Santi on. He's more than happy to do that. So just appreciate that and be happy that he wants to.'' Indeed, Dani's dad has shown constant support for the couple since they got together. Chatting on The Jonathan Ross Show in February, he admitted he was 'on the verge of tears' when Jarrod called him to 'ask for her hand in marriage'. Gushing over the footballer, who is West Ham's captain, Danny described him as a 'very humble, brilliant, beautiful man who worships the ground she walks on'.

Carole and Michael Middleton were 'hugely dedicated' parents and 'sacrificed' a lot for their children growing up, Kate remembers

As a parent to three children herself, Catherine, Princess of Wales knows just how much effort it can take - which is why she's always quick to praise her own parents for everything they "sacrificed" for her, sister Pippa Middleton and brother James growing up. The close relationship between Kate and her parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, is one that's only got stronger over the years. Carole has always been Kate's 'rock' and it was suggested that being closer to Michael and Carole in Berkshire was one factor that inspired Prince William and Kate's family move to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor. And it's easy to see why Kate continues to lean on her parents, as she talked lovingly of how "dedicated" the pair were while appearing on Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast in 2020. Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Revelatory Biography of the Future Queen by Robert Jobson | Was $29.95, Now $11.45 at Amazon This biography of the Princess of Wales explores how she became the woman she is today. Author Robert Jobson has spoken to sources on and off the record in the Royal Household and reflects on her beginnings and role as the future Queen Deal The Princess of Wales reflected upon her idyllic childhood, explaining how Carole and Michael "sacrificed" their free time to cheer them on at all their sporting events. "I had a very happy childhood. It was great fun. I'm very lucky I come from a very strong family. My parents were hugely dedicated," Kate shared. "I really appreciate now as a parent how much they sacrificed for us. They came to every sports match, they'd be the ones on the side-line shouting, and we'd always have our family holidays together." It seems that since becoming a mom herself, Kate has come to value Carole and Michael's unwavering commitment to supporting their children's hobbies in a slightly different way. Kate's memories of playing matches and seeing Carole and Michael Middleton on the side-lines cheering have clearly had a huge impact upon her. She's been pictured attending one of Prince George's football matches before and has often discussed her children's favourite hobbies. During a different podcast appearance in 2023, Kate also revealed that her well-known love of sports come from her parents' support and encouragement. "I suppose as a family we were just very active. And I can always remember being physical, using our bodies, whether it's walking, climbing the lake district in Scotland [or] swimming from a young age," she said on The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast. "[My parents] always encouraged us to be physically active and sporty and they always encouraged us into doing team sports and trying things." William and Kate seem to be continuing this tradition, as we already know Prince George is proving to be an ace on the tennis court, having had a lesson from Roger Federer, and Princess Charlotte is a massive fan of ballet. Whilst the Princess of Wales seems to be taking a similar approach to her parents, their decision to be there at every sports match isn't the only sacrifice they've made. Writing previously in the Mail on Sunday's You magazine, Kate Mansey claimed that while the public "may not have noticed", Carole allegedly accompanied the Waleses on their tour of Australia and New Zealand in 2014 so she could "help with Prince George". If this is correct then Carole selflessly spent three weeks away from home to assist with childcare and as she was believed to have still been running her former business, Party Pieces, day-to-day. This was such a heartfelt gesture from Carole and one that was likely very much appreciated by the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Lottie Tomlinson teary-eyed as she reflects on family loss in emotional video

Louis Tomlinson's sister Lottie Tomlinson is a guest on the next episode of Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast and she's set to discuss loss within her family Makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson emotionally opened up about loss in her family in a podcast teaser this week. She's set to discuss experiencing grief, including over the death of her mother Johannah Deakin, in the upcoming episode. Lottie, 26, and her six siblings, who include One Direction 's Louis Tomlinson, 33, lost their mother Johannah, who was aged 43, in 2016 following a leukaemia diagnosis. Less than three years later they experienced another bereavement as Lottie's sister Félicité Tomlinson died aged 18 in 2019. ‌ Over the years, the family have spoken about their loss. It's now been revealed that Lottie opens up about navigating grief on the next episode of the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast. She spoke to host Giovanna Fletcher, 40, recently for the episode, which is due to be released on Tuesday. ‌ Ahead of its release, a teaser clip shared on Instagram this evening shows Lottie emotionally talking about her family. She shares at one point on the podcast: "It's not been easy but we've just stuck together as a family." She adds in the clip released today: "We're getting there. We're rebuilding." Seemingly speaking about her late mother, she says: "It's just sad that she's not here with us." It's then referenced that Lottie moved back home following Johannah's death, with it previously revealed that she took on a parental role for her younger siblings Félicité, twins Phoebe and Daisy, then 12, and twins Doris and Ernie, who were two. Giovanna said: "You moved back for a bit to be there for the little ones." Lottie is then heard telling the podcast host: "Because they were two." She went on to mention that when her mother died her youngest siblings Doris and Ernie were the same age as her own son Lucky, two, is now. Lottie said: "That's what hurts the most when I speak about it it's because Lucky's two now." Teary-eyed, she added: "Losing a mum at that age is just so so sad and traumatising for them, y'know." Later in the teaser clip, Lottie is heard discussing having become a parent at a similar time to some of her siblings. The makeup artist shares her son Lucky and four-month-old daughter Flossie with her fiancé Lewis Burton, 33. ‌ Giovanna said: "And with your siblings as well, it's that thing of, not only have your got your own family now, but seeing that that family growing and expanding." Lottie responded: "Louis's got a little boy. I've got Lucky and Flossie, and [Phoebe] has got Olive. It's just the best. It's like we're recreating y'know what we grew up with with all the kids and it's so nice to be able to do it together." The teaser for the podcast episode comes after Lottie spoke about dealing with her grief in an interview with the Mirror recently. Sharing her thoughts with us, she said: "I feel like being with my family is just the best therapy for me." ‌ Lottie added in the interview, published earlier this week: "That's all I've ever wanted and now that I've finally got that, it brings me so much comfort and it makes me feel closer to the people I've lost. It's been like a healing thing for me." The next episode of Happy Mum, Happy Baby featuring Lottie as a guest is set to be released on podcast platforms on Tuesday. Kate Middleton and Prince William's 'unusual' parenting decision that follows 'Middleton model'

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Every parent must find their own way of doing things, and when it comes to the Prince and Princess of Wales, one royal expert remarked on their "unusual" decision that separates them from the likes of Princess Diana, King Charles and even the late Queen Elizabeth II. Realizing they "can't undo destiny," Prince William and Kate Middleton's "unusual and enlightened" decision saw them become incredibly "hands-on" with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. And this isn't surprising, considering the future King and Queen broke with tradition to take their children out of London and moved to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor for more freedom and private time. The BBC's former royal correspondent Jennie Bond shared her thoughts with OK!, suggesting it's Kate's connection to her own family and her countryside upbringing that makes all the difference in "grounding" George, Charlotte and Louis. Catherine, the Princess of Wales: A Revelatory Biography of the Future Queen by Robert Jobson | Was $29.95, Now $11.45 at Amazon This biography of the Princess of Wales explores how she became the woman she is today. Author Robert Jobson has spoken to sources on and off the record in the Royal Household and reflects on her beginnings and role as the future Queen Deal "They are hands-on parents in a way neither Charles and Diana, nor the late Queen and Prince Philip ever were," Jennie claimed, reflecting on other royal parenting approaches. "From the start they have cared for their children themselves as much as possible with minimal outside help." Calling this an "unusual and enlightened decision", Jennie suggests their choice came after they realized they "can't undo the destiny you were born into" Instead, you can "make life more of a family affair than an upbringing in palaces and castles would allow". Examples of this "hands-on" approach includes the relatable yet surprising place one might find the Princess of Wales hanging out with her children, and the future King and Queen doing the school run themselves. This is quite different to King Charles and Princess Anne's experience growing up in the Royal Family. Princess Margaret's Lady-in-Waiting, Lady Anne Glenconner, previously explained to OK! that Queen Elizabeth was away a lot due to the intense demands of her job. "[King] Charles and Princess Anne were so small when she became Queen and she just had so much to do," Lady Glenconner alleged, before later adding, "It was rather like she had two families, because when she had Andrew and Edward she was able to spend much more time with them." Sharing how her own childhood might have influenced her parenting, Kate has previously told Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast about her family holidays as a child and how her parents were there cheering her on at every sports match. This parenting style is something she and Prince William have reportedly been emulating and Jennie believes that Carole and Michael Middleton have a "normalizing influence" on their grandchildren's lives. She said, "Don't underestimate the normalizing influence of having a happy, ordinary couple as grandparents. Carole and Michael Middleton remain an integral part of the extended family unit as they come from ordinary backgrounds and offer a grounding for the children." The Middletons are incredibly close to the Wales family and royal expert Duncan Larcombe once suggested that Prince William was raised "very different[ly]" and wants to follow their example with his own children. "William has based his children's upbringing on the Middleton model - three children, affluent, but hardworking parents and lots of love in the house,' he alleged to OK!. 'By the time Kate was in her early twenties, she counted her mother and father on the list of her best friends." "That's what William and Kate are aspiring to with their children, but they also have to drip-feed George, and to some extent Charlotte and Louis, into the public domain."

Kate Middleton's 'intimate revelation' after Prince Louis' birth 'broke Royal tradition'

Kate Middleton has been a member of the Royal Family since she married Prince William in 2011 and the Duchess of Cambridge is known for her elegance and poise Kate Middleton broke with Royal convention by sharing a deeply personal insight following the arrival of Prince Louis. At 43, Kate, along with her husband Prince William, cherish their three children: 11-year-old Prince George, Princess Charlotte who is 10 and seven-year-old Louis. It wasn't until two years after welcoming Louis into the world that Kate felt ready to be candid about her pregnancy experiences. ‌ In a conversation with Giovanna Fletcher on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, the princess disclosed her struggles with hyperemesis gravidarum during each pregnancy, which left her feeling considerably less than cheerful as an expectant mother. ‌ Yet, she was able to find solace in hypnobirthing techniques, which allowed her a profound appreciation for the power of "mind over the body". According to Channel 5's William and Catherine: Putting Family First, Kate's decision to share intimate details about her giving birth was something "no Royal had ever done before". Victoria Murphy, Town and Country magazine's contributing editor, chimed in on this topic during the documentary, stating: "She was really open about her experiences of pregnancy and of labour. "She spoke about hypnobirthing techniques she had used, she spoke about the power of using breathing and she also made some quite funny comments about William saying, 'I'm not going to say William was there chanting sweet nothings at me'." Murphy continued, noting Kate's expressed desire to pursue something meaningful for herself: "And she went on to say this is something she wanted to do for her, which I think is something a lot of women can relate to but it was a really intimate revelation about her own personal experiences," reports Edinburgh Live. ‌ In a 2020 interview, Kate revealed that the meditation techniques she learned through hypnobirthing had helped alleviate her morning sickness. She recalled: "I'm not going to say that William was standing there sort of, chanting sweet nothings at me. "He definitely wasn't. I didn't even ask him about it, but it was just something I wanted to do for myself. "I saw the power of it really, the meditation and the deep breathing and things like that, that they teach you in hypnobirthing, when I was really sick, and actually I realised that this was something I could take control of, I suppose, during labour. It was hugely powerful." ‌ Kate also fondly remembered her childhood in Berkshire, where she spent time doing arts and crafts and visiting the greenhouse with her grandmother. She aims to draw on these happy memories when raising her own children. Royal expert Daniela Relph wrote on the BBC News website: "These are some of the most open and candid words we've heard from the Duchess of Cambridge. She speaks personally about her childhood and reflects on the value of her stable upbringing. "Many will relate to her honest accounts of pregnancy and motherhood, from the struggles of severe morning sickness to the benefits of hypnobirthing, the uncertainty of caring for a newborn, and the guilt of balancing work and relying on others for support." The documentary William and Catherine: Putting Family First airs tonight on Channel 5 at 7:30pm (May 17) and is also available to stream.
