(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) After a roaring start on Day 1, Pawan Kalyan's much-anticipated historical drama 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 1: Sword vs Spirit' witnessed a significant dip in collections on its second day. According to the Sacnilk website, despite the grand scale of the film and the hype surrounding it, early estimates suggest the Day 2 earnings stood at Rs 8 crore (India net), bringing the two-day total to Rs 55.50 crore. Sharp fall after strong opening The film had impressed with a strong first-day performance, earning Rs 47.50 crore on Thursday (including previews), with Rs 12.75 crore coming in from Wednesday's early shows. Unfortunately, the film received mostly mixed reviews from the audiences. One of the major drawbacks were said to be the poor VFX works in this Pawan Kalyan starrer. An excerpt from ETimes review for the film reads, "MM Keeravaani's rousing background score is a clear highlight. The supporting cast is underutilised. Bobby Deol brings quiet menace as Aurangzeb but appears only briefly. Other actors, including Sathyaraj, Nassar, Sachin Khedekar, Subbaraju, Sunil, Raghu Babu, and Kota Srinivasa Rao (in his final appearance), are present but given little scope." As Day 3 approaches, all eyes are on the weekend performance to see if the film can bounce back from the early dip and regain box office traction.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Day 2 box office collection: Pawan Kalyan's film mints THIS amount as numbers dip
'Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 1: Sword vs Spirit' witnessed a significant drop in box office collections on its second day, Friday (Day 2), after a strong start earlier in the week. The film collected ₹ 6.17 crore on Day 2, bringing its total earnings in India to ₹ 53.67 crore. The film, which opened with ₹ 12.75 crore on its preview day (Wednesday), gained momentum with a massive ₹ 34.75 crore collection on its official opening day (Thursday). However, the Friday dip suggests a cooling off in audience enthusiasm despite strong regional appeal. The Telugu version continues to dominate the numbers, with minimal contributions from dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. On Day 1, the Telugu collection stood at ₹ 34.65 crore out of ₹ 34.75 crore total, indicating where the film's core strength lies. In terms of theatre occupancy, Day 2 saw a decline across key regions. Telugu 2D occupancy was recorded at 17.75% for morning shows, 20.17% in the afternoon, and 27.21% by evening. Among cities, Warangal reported the highest occupancy at 31%, followed by Mahbubnagar at a surprising 45.33%. Other regions such as Hyderabad (25.67%), Vijayawada (25.33%), and Kakinada (26.33%) remained strong. Meanwhile, metro cities like Mumbai (12.67%) and Delhi NCR (7%) posted much lower figures. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and starring Pawan Kalyan, the historical action drama is positioned as a major cinematic event. However, the sharp fall on Day 2 could be a concern for long-term sustainability, especially with the weekend footfall now crucial for the film's momentum. Whether 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu 2' can regain its pace over the weekend remains to be seen, but its performance so far has been a mix of strong starts and quick slowdowns—typical of star-driven regional blockbusters.

(Picture Courtesy: Facebook) Pawan Kalyan 's much-anticipated period film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu – Part 1: Sword vs Spirit' finally arrived in cinemas, and as expected, the film opened to a powerful box office debut. Despite its long delays and production hurdles, the film saw massive turnout, especially in the Telugu states. Early estimates from Sacnilk suggest that the film collected Rs 31.50 crore on Day 1 (Thursday) in India across all languages, adding to the Rs 12.7 crore it had already grossed in paid premieres a day prior. This brings its total collection to Rs 44.20 crore which is a solid start by any measure. Regions like Hyderabad (66.75%) and Vijayawada (77%) showed consistent footfalls throughout the day. Morning shows across most Telugu-speaking areas witnessed a sharp start. The numbers stayed reasonably high in evening and night shows. Hindi occupancy hovered around 12.43%, while Kannada and Tamil versions trailed at 9.96% and 8.24% respectively. Hari Hara Veera Mallu | Song - Evaradi Evaradi Will it hold through the weekend? While the box office numbers are impressive, the mixed reception might affect the film's trajectory in the coming days. Initial reviews have praised Pawan Kalyan's presence and the scale of the production. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Access all TV channels anywhere, anytime Techno Mag Learn More Undo Mixed reviews raised concerns about pacing and visual effects. ETimes gave the film a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5 and our review reads, "Hari Hara Veera Mallu might appeal to Pawan Kalyan's core fanbase and those drawn to visually grand period dramas with action and mythic flair. For most viewers, however, it may feel like a missed opportunity — a film rich in ambition but short on cohesion. Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit rides on Pawan Kalyan's charisma and MM Keeravaani's compelling score, but falters in storytelling, visual polish, and emotional depth. It is an ambitious spectacle that only occasionally lives up to its potential." With a runtime nearing three hours and expectations sky-high, it remains to be seen whether 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' can maintain its momentum beyond the opening weekend. The film also has Nidhhi Agerwal, Bobby Deol, Nargis Fakhri, Nora Fatehi, and others in pivotal roles.
