The court directed the registry to include the names of lawyers representing the CBI and the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in the case's hearing list. The matter has now been adjourned for a week. However, the judge rejected a request to issue notices to the respondents at this stage, clarifying that such action would be considered later depending on the circumstances. Hari Hara Veera Mallu OTT Release: When And Where To Watch Pawan Kalyan's big-budget period drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, is now making its way to OTT just weeks after its theatrical run. Directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna, the film also stars Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal. It hit theatres on July 24 with huge expectations but ended up receiving a mixed response from audiences and critics alike. As is common in Telugu cinema these days, films that don't have a long theatrical run quickly shift to digital platforms. The same has happened with Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which is all set to stream online less than a month after its release. The makers officially announced on the film's X (formerly Twitter) handle that the historical epic will premiere on Prime Video from today, August 20. The post read, 'A tale of rebellion, rage and righteousness. The storm that started in theatres now takes over your screens." The movie dropped at midnight, and the announcement was made just hours before its OTT arrival. Hari Hara Veera Mallu was released amid huge anticipation, especially since it was Pawan Kalyan's first film after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Unlike his usual style of avoiding film promotions, the actor actively participated in promotional events across the country. Andhra Pradesh HC adjourns plea against DyCM Pawan Kalyan
VIJAYAWADA: Former IAS officer Vijay Kumar on Monday filed a petition in the Andhra Pradesh High Court seeking interim orders to restrict Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan from acting in films, participating in entertainment programmes, producing and promoting films, and appearing in advertisements. In his petition, Vijay Kumar alleged that Pawan Kalyan misused his office and government funds in the making of the film Harihara Veeramallu and requested the court to direct the CBI to conduct an impartial investigation into the matter. The High Court, comprising Judge Dr Justice Venkata Jyotirmayi Pratapa, rejected the request of the petitioner's lawyer to issue notices to the respondents—the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), ACB, and Pawan Kalyan. The judge refused to issue notices at this stage, posted the hearing to next week, and ordered the registry to print the names of the lawyers representing the CBI and ACB in the list of cases to be heard.

Vijayawada: A controversy erupted after actress Nidhi Agarwal was spotted travelling to a private event in Bhimavaram in a vehicle carrying a "Govt Vehicle" board on Sunday. The car, however, was later identified as belonging to a private travel agency, not the state govt. Videos showing the actress, who starred alongside deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan in Harihara Veeramallu, quickly went viral on social media, fueling speculation that she was given an official protocol vehicle. Some posts alleged that the AP govt extended special courtesy to her due to her recent collaboration with the xeputy CM. Pawan Kalyan's office swiftly denied the claims, ordering an investigation into the matter. Officials clarified that the car belonged to a Vijayawada-based private travel agency that, in the past, provided vehicles to govt departments. A "Government Vehicle" board was left on the car and was not removed before it was hired by a private event management company for the Bhimavaram trip. Nidhi Agarwal also issued a statement on social media, denying any misuse of govt resources. She explained that the event organisers booked the vehicle and that neither she nor any official was involved in arranging it. The incident has reignited concerns over private vehicles posing as govt ones, complete with sirens and special privileges at toll gates and temples. Police have now issued a warning, stating that strict action will be taken against anyone falsely displaying "Government Vehicle" boards. The governments of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have approved a major hike in ticket prices for the upcoming Telugu movie Harihara Veeramallu. The move has surprised many, especially because of the green signal given for paid premiere shows. Premiere Ticket Price: ₹708 in Telangana On Monday (July 21), the Telangana government issued a GO allowing the movie team to hold a paid premiere show at 9 PM on July 23 (Wednesday). The ticket for this show is priced at ₹600, and with GST added, the total cost comes to ₹708 per ticket. This is being called one of the highest ticket prices ever in Telugu cinema. What's more surprising is that the government had earlier restricted special shows and price hikes after the Pushpa 2 stampede incident, making this approval a hot topic. Ticket Price Hike in Telangana (July 24 – August 2) Telangana has allowed higher ticket prices for 10 days from the movie's official release on July 24 to August 2.
