Three men died after car hit tree in Tollerton, inquest hears
Three men died after a car they were travelling in left the road and hit a tree in Nottinghamshire, an inquest has Archer, 23, Luke Newton, 21, and Pearce Haran, 19, were all in the same vehicle on Cotgrave Road in Tollerton when it crashed on 22 Coroner's Court heard another vehicle had also left the road at about the same time, but the driver inquest was opened on Tuesday before being adjourned while a police investigation continues.
The court heard an investigation from a pathologist gave a cause of death for Mr Archer, who was from Gunthorpe, as a chest Newton, who was from Bingham, died as a result of a head injury, while Mr Haran died from a combination of chest and head Casey, senior coroner for Nottinghamshire, said the trio were "travelling in one vehicle" at the same time and in the same direction as a second car."Sadly one of the vehicles came off the road and collided with a tree," she said."Another car also came off the road, and the [occupants] survived."Nottinghamshire Police said two men aged 20 and 27, who were arrested following the crash, remained on bail.
