Eurovision's Remember Monday singer's wedding ring ‘goes missing' during show
Eurovision stars Remember Monday had more than just nil points to worry about on Saturday night. The UK's representation for the weekend's festivities – made up of Lauren Byrne, Holly-Anne Hull and Charlotte Steele – were left gutted after their song What The Hell Just Happened failed to impress. They scored a shocking zero points from the public after a score of 88 from the jury, but there was almost double heartbreak behind the scenes. When former West End star Holly-Anne got backstage after their Grand Final performance, she discovered her gold band – and several other items of jewellery – had gone missing. 'A few items were missing and no one seemed to know where they went. It was obviously very upsetting,' a source told The Sun. Fortunately for Holly-Anne – who got married to her partner Craig in 2023 – it's said the jewellery was thankfully found, and it appears to be nothing more than an innocent mistake. Austria's entry JJ ended up in the top spot after a tense showdown with Israel's protested entry Yuval Rapheal. After the UK's poor showing, Remember Monday shared a statement about their 'surreal and emotional' experience. The post reads: 'WOW – what a ride! Three best mates walked onto the world's biggest music stage and came out with a Top 10 Jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime. 'Performing at Eurovision was one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives. The love we've felt from fans, our incredible team, and everyone who streamed, voted, and believed in us has been overwhelming.' More Trending They insisted the contest is 'just the beginning for Remember Monday', with the promise of new tunes and an upcoming UK and Ireland headline tour in 2025. They added: 'We're so grateful for the platform, the media support, and every single new fan who's joined us on this wild journey. Eurovision? Completed it. Let's go!' Now back in the UK, Holly - who is one third of the British Eurovision act Remember Monday - has spoken out about her missing ring. It comes after The Sun revealed she had feared her jewellery was 'pinched' after she removed her rings for the performance of their song What The Hell Just Happened? in Basel, Switzerland, on Saturday night. Holly spoke about her nightmare during an interview on Capital FM's Breakfast Show on Monday morning. Host Chris Stark asked: "Holly, very quickly, did I read you lost your wedding ring?" The girls remained silent for several seconds before Holly replied: "Yep. It's my engagement ring. "I found my wedding ring but my engagement ring is gone. "I honestly don't know where it is. I am so upset about it. "It's something silly, like it's in the hotel room. It's not like I went on a wild night out and lost it. It's like I've misplaced it because I'm so silly and my brain was scattered all over the place." Chris' co-host Sian Welby asked: "Are you still in the hotel now, or are you home? Remember Monday star Lauren Byrne is last Eurovision contestant standing as she parties until 6am after defeat Holly told her "I'm in my house. I've had to say goodbye to her." Holly-Anne wed her partner Craig in 2023. Together with bandmates Lauren Byrne, 30, and Charlotte Steele, 31, she performed at the St Jakobshalle Arena and finished in 19th place. The group were tenth after the jury vote on Saturday night but sadly, as they received no points from the public, the trio were sent tumbling down the leaderboard. Austrian opera singer JJ won Eurovision with Wasted Love. A staggering 7.9million Brits turned in to the contest on Saturday night. But despite their defeat, Remember Monday are standing proud and partied until 6am on Sunday morning. Charlotte said: "I can't explain how amazing the whole thing has been. It has been more than we could have ever wished for. "We are so proud of what we did and just the whole build up was just so fantastic. "We had about an hour's sleep before our flight home yesterday. We had so much fun!" The girls, who says they are now heading straight back into the rehearsal room, will be performing at Capital FM's Summertime Ball this summer. 5 Remember Monday represented the UK at Eurovision on Saturday night Credit: Splash 5 The trio finished in 19th place Credit: Getty

Remember Monday star's heartbreak after losing wedding ring at Eurovision final
The Eurovision Song Contest saw the UK's Remember Monday perform their song, What The Hell Just Happened?, which only received 88 points Remember Monday put in a mighty performance at last night's final of the Eurovision Song Contest, but placed 19th with only 88 points from the national juries. One of the members of the three-person group revealed she lost her wedding ring but didn't share whether it happened during the performance. Singer Holly-Anne Hull took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a video of the group sitting on a plane as they left Basel. "I've lost my wedding ring and my engagement ring," Holly-Anne Hull said in the video, but she didn't give further details to her followers on what happened. Holly-Anne tied the knot in the summer of 2023 in Surrey. In the video, the group said they were still wearing last night's hair gel and added that their knees hurt. "I'm gonna have a breakdown 'cause I've lost my wedding ring," she said. Lauren Byrne added how the group were "so grateful" for their fans while Charlotte Steele said their fans were "amazing". While the girl group managed to climb to 19th place with 88 points from the jury vote, they were left gutted after being handed absolutely nothing from those watching at home during Saturday night's final. However, they recently vowed that "this is just the beginning" as they spoke out on Sunday morning. They said in a statement to the Mirror: "WOW - what a ride! Three best mates walked onto the world 's biggest music stage and came out with a Top 10 Jury score, massive streaming numbers, and memories that will last a lifetime. "Performing at Eurovision was one of the most surreal and emotional moments of our lives. The love we've felt from fans, our incredible team, and everyone who streamed, voted, and believed in us has been overwhelming. "This is just the beginning for Remember Monday. We've got new music coming your way, a UK & Ireland headline tour this year, a summer packed with festivals, and we'll be hitting the stage at Wembley Stadium for the Summertime Ball… no big deal! "We're so grateful for the platform, the media support, and every single new fan who's joined us on this wild journey. Eurovision? Completed it. Let's go! Charlotte, Holly and Lauren x." Over on Twitter, viewers were picking up on the West End vibes the girls gave off. 'Say all you want about this song being just a random West End number, you cannot deny that Remember Monday's chemistry together on stage is immaculate,' one wrote. 'They really look like they're having the time of their lives on the #eurovision stage!'
