Chidimma Adetshina's return sparks outcry: netizens demand answers from Home Affairs
Controversial beauty queen, Chidimma Adetshina has ignited a debate on social media after it was reported that she is back in SA. Image: Supplied After being crowned Miss Universe Nigeria last year, Chidimma Adetshina swore that she would not return to South Africa; however, it seems like the beauty queen never lived up to her words after being spotted in SA just recently. Even though there is no official evidence that Adetshina is indeed in SA right now, netizens have expressed their concern over the controversial beauty queen reportedly being in Mzansi. Operation Dudula released a statement on social media regarding her being back in the country and also revealed that, as an organisation, they have confirmed that Adetshina is back in SA. Adetshina joined an Instagram live of Miss Supranational Nigeria, Paula Ezendu and revealed in the comment section that after the Miss Universe Nigeria finale, she was basically ditched by the organisers. She also rallied behind a fellow Nigerian beauty queen, Nyekachi Douglas, who was snubbed from the competition and shared how she was told to withdraw from participating. Taking to the comment section, the 24-year-old shared how she is fully supporting Douglas and said: 'I STAND WITH YOU!! You deserve every opportunity to compete… TELL YOUR STORY!' Adetshina has also reportedly cut ties with Nigeria's beauty pageant, unfollowing them on Instagram and announcing her absence from the grand finale. A TikTok fan page shared a video, expressing their excitement about seeing Adetshina crown the next beauty queen.
