Home Centre achieves 39% brand awareness uplift with CTV ads
Home Centre has revealed the results of its connected TV (CTV) advertising Ramadan 2025 campaign in partnership with ThePubverse by ArabyAds. The campaign focused on driving awareness for new product launches, engaging premium audiences in Saudi Arabia through immersive, tech-enabled experiences on the largest screen in the home. As part of its Ramadan strategy, Home Centre leveraged ThePubverse's exclusive home-screen placements on LG Connected TVs, delivering precise targeting and full-screen visibility to a premium female audience segment. 'We are committed to digital innovations. That's exactly why we invested in Connected TV advertising and partnered with ThePubverse by ArabyAds,' said Akash Saxena, Senior Digital Marketing Manager at Home Centre. To measure real-time campaign impact, a brand lift study (BLS) was deployed directly on CTV devices, capturing performance across key upper- and mid-funnel metrics. 'The niche audience targeting capabilities, premium home-screen experience with 100% brand safety, and deterministic BLS – Brand Lift Survey were uniquely offered and are a mark of impactful technology innovation in the advertising landscape,' Saxena said on the medium. The campaign exceeded engagement benchmarks for CTV in the region, delivering a significant uplift across brand awareness (39 per cent), ad recall (37 per cent), and brand consideration (29 per cent). 'The results have been very encouraging, with a very good response from the market, and we look forward to more such initiatives,' Saxena said. ArabyAds claims these results reinforce the role of CTV as a powerful medium for brand amplification during peak shopping seasons. 'Our collaboration with Home Centre during Ramadan 2025 demonstrates the power of Connected TV to elevate seasonal campaigns with precision and scale,' Ayman Haydar, CEO of ThePubverse by ArabyAds said. 'This campaign is a clear example of how CTV drives both engagement and brand lift,' Haydar added. 'We're proud to have partnered once again with Landmark Group and remain committed to redefining how brands connect with audiences across MENA.'

New arts initiative in Dubai seeks to reimagine retail spaces
Home Centre, the Middle East's leading home retailer, has officially launched Home Centre Collective — a region-first live performance series that reimagines its retail spaces as immersive stages for culture, creativity, and community across Saudi Arabia and UAE. The platform reflects a growing creative energy across the GCC — particularly in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, where investment in arts, music, and cultural expression is on the rise. Home Centre Collective was born from this cultural moment, designed to be an ongoing space where authenticity, art, and community can meet and live, in-store. 'As a homegrown brand, we've always felt a responsibility to support the communities we serve and celebrate the talent within them,' Arja Taaveniku, CEO, Home Centre said. Excerpts from an interview: Q: What sparked the idea for Home Centre Collective? A: The idea began with a desire to reimagine our spaces - not just as retail environments, but as cultural stages. As a homegrown brand, we've always felt a responsibility to support the communities we serve and celebrate the talent within them. At the same time, the world is shifting - there's a growing appreciation for Middle Eastern creativity, identity, and culture. That moment of global openness inspired us to act. Home Centre Collective is our way of giving local voices a platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Q: How does this change the role of retail in the region? A: Retail is no longer just about products—it's about purpose. Consumers today expect more than convenience—they want to connect emotionally with the brands they support. Through Home Centre Collective, we're reshaping what retail means in the Middle East. By turning our stores into spaces for expression, collaboration, and storytelling, we're showing that retail can be a platform for cultural contribution. It's about inviting creativity in, not as a gimmick, but as a genuine part of who we are as a homegrown brand leading a new cultural movement in the region. Q: How do you hope to impact local creatives? A: We want to empower, elevate, and amplify. For us, it's about giving creatives the space, visibility, and tools to express who they are—on their terms. What makes this initiative powerful is the collaboration. We're not dictating the narrative—we're co-creating it with the artists. We listen to their vision, work with them to build performance environments that feel personal, and help them show up in a way that feels authentic and culturally grounded. Q: How do you choose the artists? A: We look for voices that are authentic, expressive, and relevant to the communities we serve. What's important to note—especially in the UAE—is that 'local' doesn't always mean Middle Eastern. We live in beautifully diverse cities where cultures cross-pollinate, and we welcome that global energy. So, whether it's a Khaleeji musician or an Afrobeat artist based in Dubai, we want Home Centre Collective to represent the full spectrum of creativity that exists here—globally influenced, but locally grounded. Q: Do artists help design their performance space? A: Yes—artist collaboration is central to everything we do. The performance space is not just a backdrop—it's part of the story. We work closely with each artist to understand how they want to be seen and how their identity can be reflected visually. Even though the setup has to be practical from a retail and production perspective, we tailor every element—from styling to atmosphere—to feel personal and expressive. It's about creating an environment that's as much theirs as it is ours. Q: How does this tie into interior design as self-expression? A: Interior design has always been about identity. At Home Centre, we believe your home is the most personal space you can create—it's where self-expression truly lives. What we're doing with Collective is an extension of that idea. These spaces may be temporary installations, but they're designed to reflect the creative soul of each artist—just like a home reflects the person who lives in it. And through those designs, we invite our customers to see how creativity and home are deeply connected. Q: Are there plans to expand beyond the UAE and KSA? A: Yes - our ambition is to grow Home Centre Collective into a leading creative platform across the Middle East. There's incredible creative energy in the region, and we see a real opportunity to celebrate and elevate that through authentic, locally-rooted storytelling. As the region continues to shape global conversations around design, culture, and identity, we believe the voices and talent we champion here can naturally resonate beyond our borders - sharing a Middle Eastern point of view with the world.

Deliveroo and Home Centre launch ‘DeliveRoom' Rest Area for Riders
Deliveroo has announced the launch of DeliveRoom, a first-of-its-kind rider rest area in the UAE designed to support rider welfare during the summer months. As part of Deliveroo's 2025 Rider Summer Initiatives and its wider rest stations - which welcome over 110,000 rider visits - DeliveRoom is a double-decker bus transformed into a fully air-conditioned, home-style space. Launched in collaboration with Home Centre, the initiative offers riders a place to cool down and relax between orders, designed to feel like a living room on wheels. Offering chilled refreshments, comfortable furnishing from Home Centre, and a welcoming indoor space, the DeliveRoom is more than a resting point, it's a moment of comfort in the midst of a busy day. Yazan Aburaqabeh, Director of Operations at Deliveroo Middle East said, 'Every year, we strive to build on our commitment to rider well-being, and this year we're proud to do so in collaboration with Home Centre, the first brand of its kind to partner with us on an initiative dedicated to supporting riders. By bringing their expertise in building comfortable spaces to the DeliveRoom, Home Centre has helped us create a truly welcoming environment where riders can cool down, and recharge. This initiative is a reflection of our ongoing efforts to ensure that, especially during the UAE summer, our riders are protected, comfortable, and respected every day.' Siddarth Sivaprakash, Head of Marketing & Brand at Home Centre, said, 'At Home Centre, we design spaces with people at the heart, and the DeliveRoom was no exception. To bring this initiative to life, we took time to understand the rhythm of a rider's day; their need to pause, recharge, and unwind between deliveries. From relaxed seating and cooling interiors to charging points and thoughtful touches, every element was carefully considered to offer a moment of comfort. We're delighted to be collaborating with Deliveroo on this project as the first retailer to be part of this meaningful initiative, and to extend our design ethos to a part of the community that not only keeps our city moving but also satisfies our cravings, one delivery at a time.' DeliveRoom joins a range of Summer Rider Initiatives that are rolled out each year to support riders navigate the season including Roo Buses, Rider Kits, Water Distribution, special events and rewards for riders, and Rest Stations across the UAE. Roo Buses Deliveroo is once again rolling out its fleet of Roo Buses across the UAE, offering mobile, air-conditioned pit stops for riders on the go. Operational seven days a week across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ajman, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah, the Roo Buses offer much-needed shelter and hydration throughout the day. In addition to the mobile rest points, Deliveroo cloud kitchens (Editions) and Grocery (HOP) sites across Dubai and Abu Dhabi continue to serve as additional cool-down zones throughout the summer season. Water Distribution Water is distributed daily at all Editions and HOP sites, where riders can pick up chilled bottles or refill their own. As part of the wider hydration effort, Deliveroo also works closely with its restaurant partners to provide water and shaded resting areas while riders wait to pick up orders. Customers are encouraged to support this initiative with small gestures, like offering a bottle of water upon delivery, to help riders stay cool and feel appreciated. Rider Kits To further support riders, Deliveroo has introduced seasonal Rider Kits that include heat-protection gear such as cooling vests, electrolyte sachets, breathable uniforms made of 100% UV-blocking polyester, and windshield visors to protect phones and bikes from extreme temperatures. The kits are designed specifically for UAE conditions, ensuring riders are equipped to manage the heat safely and comfortably. Seasonal Rider Events Deliveroo also celebrates its riders with a calendar of seasonal events and appreciation activities. From engagement bonuses and gadget giveaways to themed gatherings, these efforts aim to build community and reward riders for their ongoing commitment during the year. Respect Pledge Deliveroo's summer efforts are rooted in its Respect Pledge, an ongoing promise to ensure that riders are treated with dignity and care. This pledge is shared with riders and partners alike, calling for a culture of empathy and mutual respect across every touchpoint of the delivery experience. Deliveroo's Summer Initiatives continue to reflect a comprehensive approach to rider well-being, ensuring that while the temperatures may rise, riders continually feel cared for both on and off the road.
