The Honda City Hybrid is now priced at ₹ 19.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the fully loaded ZX variant, making it ₹ 1 lakh more affordable than before. The City e: HEV is the only hybrid sedan in its class, taking on the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, and the like. Honda City Hybrid: Specifications The Honda City Hybrid is equipped with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with the Atkinson cycle, which is paired with an electric motor. The combined output stands at 124 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque, while mated to an eCVT. The major benefit of this setup is fuel efficiency with Honda promising 27.26 kmpl (ARAI certified). This makes the hybrid sedan about ₹ 29,900 more expensive than earlier. Honda City Hybrid: What's on offer? The Honda City Hybrid is the only one of its kind in the midsize sedan segment. The sedan draws power from the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with an electric motor. The motor produces 122 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque, paired with an e-CVT automatic unit. The City Hybrid aces when it comes to fuel efficiency with an ARAI-certified 27.1 kmpl. The model gets a dedicated EV mode that allows the car to run on electric propulsion alone, further helping lower emissions. There are minor visual changes on the hybrid model compared to the pure-petrol version, while the other features have been carried over including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Apart from the City Hybrid, the Honda Elevate comes with benefits worth ₹ 76,100, while the second-generation Honda Amaze gets discounts worth up to ₹ 57,200. Notably, the second-gen Amaze is only available in the S trim with manual and automatic transmission choices. There are no additional offers on the third-gen Amaze, albeit existing Honda car owners will be able to avail discounts. Lastly, the Honda City petrol gets benefits worth ₹ 63,300 in May 2025. Honda Cars India has announced special discounts on some of the popular cars for the month of May. These special promotions include discounts on its popular Elevate, Amaze and City. The carmaker offers significant price discounts across the company's vehicle lineup almost every month. This includes buyback offers, corporate packages, loyalty bonus and a complimentary seven-year extended warranty. The automaker is offering discounts up to ₹ 63,000 on the City model, while the Honda City Hybrid has received special benefits of up to ₹ 65,000. Notably, these offers are valid for all the variants of City and City Hybrid cars. To recall, the sedan locks horns with Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia in the segment. The Elevate has received a special discount this month worth up to ₹ 76,100 on its top-tier variant, which is the Elevate ZX. Notably, the SUV is a string rival of MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Kia Seltos in India in this segment. This car houses a powerful 1.5-litre naturally aspirated 4 pot engine. The new Honda Amaze has received corporate discounts and a special loyalty bonus for existing Honda customers. However, the sedan is not getting any cash benefits. A significant benefit of up to ₹ 57200 has been announced for the Amaze. It is noteworthy that the special benefits are not available on the third-generation Amaze, which has been launched recently by the Japanese automaker. However, the car manufacturer is offering EMIs starting at ₹ 1111 per lakh for the sedan. Interested buyers should note that these discounts and deals are based on the availability of the stock, the carmaker and the dealerships.
