Chow Yun Fat enjoys noodles in HK's Shau Kei Wan district & no one asks for pic
Even celebrities like Jack Tan and his wife, Hoon Mei Sim, want a selfie with the legendary Chow Yun Fat. Photo: Hoon Mei Sim/Instagram Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat is known for going about on his own, whether jogging, hiking or enjoying a meal. And often when in public, the 70-year-old famous star is stopped by fans who want to take selfies with him. And happily obliges. However, his latest outing was a little different. According to Hong Kong media, Chow was recently seen back in the city at Shau Kei Wan's Main Street East, tucking into a bowl of noodles. He queued outside an eatery, having parked his car and crossed the street like any regular customer. Though people chatted with him at the entrance, no one pulled out a phone to ask for a photo. Presumably, he was left to enjoy his meal in peace too, slurping away without interruption. That said, photos of him on the street later surfaced on the Internet. In them, he's dressed casually in a cap, mask, short-sleeved T-shirt, long trousers and flip-flops – blending right in with the neighbourhood crowd.

Jack Tan excited to welcome first baby
8 Aug - Soon to be a father, Jack Tan recently revealed that he has been prepping up for when his child is finally here. The "Abang Adik" star, who announced his wife's pregnancy back in June, said that he has been watching a lot of YouTube videos about parenting, as well as making his own research and asking doctors about it. "I have been busy preparing myself, since this will be my first time," he enthused. As for the gender of the baby, Jack said that he doesn't mind whether it's a girl or a boy as long as the baby is healthy. "We have also started buying baby stuff. We also received gifts and sponsorships for that," he added. Jack tied the knot with wife and TV personality Hoon Mei Sim in December 2021. Their baby is expected to be born in December this year.
