Chow Yun Fat enjoys noodles in HK's Shau Kei Wan district & no one asks for pic
Hong Kong actor Chow Yun-fat is known for going about on his own, whether jogging, hiking or enjoying a meal.
And often when in public, the 70-year-old famous star is stopped by fans who want to take selfies with him. And happily obliges.
However, his latest outing was a little different.
According to Hong Kong media, Chow was recently seen back in the city at Shau Kei Wan's Main Street East, tucking into a bowl of noodles.
He queued outside an eatery, having parked his car and crossed the street like any regular customer.
Though people chatted with him at the entrance, no one pulled out a phone to ask for a photo.
Presumably, he was left to enjoy his meal in peace too, slurping away without interruption.
That said, photos of him on the street later surfaced on the Internet.
In them, he's dressed casually in a cap, mask, short-sleeved T-shirt, long trousers and flip-flops – blending right in with the neighbourhood crowd.

New Lizzo song pokes at Sydney Sweeney's American Eagle jeans mess
Lizzo (left) hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling Sydney Sweeney. Photos: TNS, American Eagle/Instagram Sydney Sweeney might be all buttoned up regarding her controversial American Eagle jeans/genes ad campaign, but Lizzo isn't ready to let the scandal die down just yet. For the rare few who missed the Internet's ire over the Euphoria star's jeans ads that launched late last month, many took the 'Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans' slogan as a nod to Nazi-era eugenics. Grammy winner Lizzo, 37, shared a clip from the I'm Goin' In Till October music video on Wednesday, less than a week after American Eagle broke their silence on the denim mess. 'No kizzy, he ain't got no business being with me/ Fat a– pretty face with the t—s,' sings the Juice pop star, real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson. 'B—, I got good jeans like I'm Sydney.' Though some might assume the winking lyric should be spelled 'genes,' Lizzo hinted last week at being inspired by the scandal, when she previewed the new track as she sported an all-denim get-up, channeling 27-year-old Sweeney. The video, captioned 'Lizzo's got Good Jeans,' began with a pundit slamming the 'woke agenda' and the response to the Emmy nominee. It was a since-deleted commercial that courted controversy as the Anyone But You star tells consumers, genes, or jeans, are 'passed down from parents to offspring, determining traits like hair colour, personality and even eye colour.' The blue-eyed, blonde bombshell — whose own look the Internet quickly equated to the Aryan aesthetic favoured by Adolf Hitler — then proclaims that her 'jeans are blue.' American Eagle insisted the campaign 'is and always was about the jeans' and that the retailer would 'continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.' Lizzo's tongue-in-cheek move comes two years after her own reputation took a hit in August 2023, when her former dancers filed a lawsuit accusing the body positive songstress of racial and sexual harassment and weight-shaming. A September 2023 lawsuit filed by Lizzo's former wardrobe assistant was dropped in December 2024. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service

Rapper Lil Tay says she earned over US$1mil on OnlyFans within hours of joining
The Internet personality claims that her OnlyFans content was captured at 12:01am on her birthday on July 29. Photo: Lil Tay/Instagram Rapper Lil Tay, the subject of a 2023 death hoax, is alive and well and allegedly raking in the big bucks on OnlyFans. The 18-year-old social media sensation claimed that her recently launched account on the often NSFW subscription-based platform has made her over US$1mil (RM4.22mil) just three hours after going live. 'We broke the f–k out of that onlyfans record,' she wrote in her caption of a screenshot of her income statement on Sunday (Aug 3). The breakdown was US$486,558 (RM2.05mil) from messages, $511,003 (RM2.16mil) from subscriptions and US$26,736 (RM113,050.85) in tips. The Internet personality – who has said her legal name is Tay Tian – claimed that her OnlyFans content was captured at 12:01am on her birthday on July 29. In another clip, Lil Tay hit back at those criticising her for cashing in on the adult entertainment site. 'You can hate on me all you want,' she said. 'You can't say Lil Tay ain't winning,' the Sucker 4 Green (Money) star continued. 'So, for everybody out there, do whatever the hell you want with your life. Who gives a f–k what people have to say? Remember this, Lil Tay rich and finna get richer.' A week before becoming a legal adult, Lil Tay teased the idea of joining OnlyFans. 'Every male has been counting down to it and literally telling me to 'drop the link' the second I turn 18,' she said in a July 22 Instagram video. 'Girlies, what do you think? Should I do it?' Now boasting 5.7 million followers on Instagram, Lil Tay went viral in 2018 for her profanity-laced raps about her lavish lifestyle on the track Money Way . In 2023, a statement posted to her Instagram account falsely claimed she and older brother Jason Tian had died. The following day, she came forward to say that she was alive and 'completely heartbroken' over the hoax. – New York Daily News/Tribune News Service
