I'm Heading To Europe – This New Collection From NARS Is All I'm Packing
Few beauty brands boast as impressive a list of iconic products as Nars- from its Sheer Glow foundation and Laguna bronzing powder to the Orgasm blush, the brand's bestsellers have long been beauty editor favourites. But having once worked as a beauty advisor for Nars, I can let you in on a little secret: it was always the brand's limited-edition drops that we couldn't stop swatching (and secretly saving for ourselves). So it was only natural that I immediately got my hands on the brand's new Hot Escape collection the minute it dropped. As the name suggests, the collection is packed with essentials that scream 'holiday glow'. Whether you're after a cheek palette to boost your rosy glow, glossy lip oils, or a shimmering eyeshadow stick, this collection has everything your make-up bag needs to see you through every summer event, whether it's an alfresco brunch or rooftop drinks at sunset. Onto the actual products, let's start with the cheek palette- a summer-ready quad featuring two limited-edition blushes, a luminous highlighter and, of course, Nars' iconic Laguna Bronzer. I tried the Medium shade edit, and it's already secured top spot as my go-to glow-giver this season. Then there's the eyeshadow sticks. A longtime personal favourite, this was the exact product I'd show customers during my time at the beauty counter when someone was looking for an easy, fool-proof eyeshadow that promises to stay in place. This blendable formula can be scribbled on all over the lid and blended easily for an impactful, yet flattering look. I got my hands on the iconic shades Orgasm and Laguna, both bronzy pinks that are perfect for the summer. Plus, you can coordinate your cheek and eyeshadow shades for a cohesive look. However, the best product in the Hot Escape Collection is unarguably the lip oil. Personal bias to tinted lip oils aside, Nars' super hydrating formula feels weightless on the lips but looks glossy and radiant. The shade High Life, in particular, is guaranteed to be one of your most-used products this summer. In a nutshell, this collection is a perfectly curated edit of products designed to take the guesswork out of your summer glam. Whether you're heading to a sun-drenched getaway or just trying to survive the city heat, you'll find everything you need here. Each product delivers the shades, textures and finishes to create glowing, golden-hour skin, effortless bronzed eyes, and that dewy, just-back-from-the-beach finish. In other words, it's every single summer essential you might need, sorted. 1. NARS' new cream eyeshadow 'doesn't budge' on oily eyelids
The Total Seduction Eyeshadow Stick is available in 16 shades and is already a hit with beauty fans Adored makeup brand NARS has launched its brand-new summer makeup range. The Hot Escape Collection includes a range of new-season essentials that are available to shop now on the NARS website and nationwide. The collection features the Afterglow Lip Oil, Hot Escape Cheek Palettes, and a brand-new £28 eyeshadow stick that's already been dubbed the 'eyeshadow of dreams'. The Total Seduction Eyeshadow is a creamy matte-and-shimmer hybrid that beauty enthusiasts are calling 'the best product I've found.' Available in 16 shades, the formula promises an all-day, crease-resistant finish - even in the summer heat and humidity. One reviewer praised it for not budging even on oily eyelids, and in clinical trials, the colour stayed put for up to 16 hours, making it perfect for long beach days and hot city nights. As reported by OK!, when customers purchase two or more products from the Hot Escape collection, they will receive a free golden pouch at checkout when they enter the code GOLDEN. NARS isn't the only beauty brand making waves with fresh summer offerings at the moment. Kayali fans will be thrilled to learn that full-size versions of the much-talked-about 'Vacay in a Bottle' collection are now available, arriving just in time for the warmer months. After an initial launch as a discovery set, the four 50ml bottles can now be snapped up for £79 apiece from top retailers, including Cult Beauty. Among the eight full-sized items are Trinny London's Golden Glow Bronzer and Hello Sunday's The Take-Out One Invisible Sun Stick. Nearly 200 NARS fans have shared their thoughts on the Total Seduction Eyeshadow. One buyer wrote: "I love these. Even with my oily eyelids, they don't budge, and the colours are stunning. I use these in lieu of an eyeliner pencil, and they work so well. I'm really pleased with my eyeshadow sticks. I would definitely repurchase." Another customer labelled it the 'eyeshadow of dreams' and commented: "I love this eyeshadow stick. I was amazed at how easy it was to apply and how nice it looked after application. I love the colour as you could use it on its own or apply another eyeshadow. There is no fallout from it, and you can apply it according to your preference." Some people are unfortunately less impressed, with one saying: "It doesn't blend that easily, and the colour lacks depth. You have to apply a couple of times for any colour. After a couple of hours, it went patchy even after primer." In contrast, another happy customer left a glowing review for the Total Seduction Eyeshadow: "Very blendable, super pigmented, the texture is sublime, so smooth just easily glides on the lid, and it doesn't move once set. I've got very sensitive eyes and didn't get a reaction. It's also easy to remove with makeup remover. I'm hooked." "Another great product from NARS," someone else added. "Perfect eyeshadow stick, extremely easy to use, has great pigment, blends super easily, and helps create gorgeous eye looks in seconds. One of my go-tos, especially to travel with. I always throw it in my makeup bag for evening looks."
