He further penned, 'And from being a fan of Daya sir and Abhijeet sir to working alongside them, sach mein bahot kuch seekhne ko mila (truly got a chance to learn a lot), always fun sitting next to them and they sharing their life and shoot stories #inspiration! overall …entire CID team (cast & crew) was super respectful, kind, helping and loving which is super Rare in today's world!"
Not only this, the Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actor ended his caption by mentioning the last frame from his post. It featured him dressed in a purple chequered shirt while he was flaunting his moustache and intense gaze for slaying his on-screen as ACP Ayushmaan. 'Btw the last picture is my favourite. Thank you," he concluded.
The post instantly gained the attention of his millions of fans. Samthaan's industry friend Ali Merchant also reacted to it, dropping a red heart in the comment section. One of his fans wrote, 'Soo happy to see all the pictures.. It doesn't look like a team but a family.. we will miss all this BTS n especially you in CID2." Another mentioned, 'What an amazing journey, also seeing you enjoy throughout the journey, love all the bts and the bond you share with them, wish to see you as ayushmaan in future as you are a part of the team now." "Your CID journey is so inspirational to us.. from being trolled to getting all the love from CID fans is not a cup of tea for everyone.. and we are so proud of you baba," said someone echoing the same emotion.
With his appearance in CID, the actor somehow broke the phenomenon of getting typecast in a similar kind of role in TV series like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, Hum Do Hamare Baarah and others. He has even expressed the same typecasting struggles he faced in his career before making his fans proud with his appearance in the reboot of the crime series.
