Parth Samthaan, who is best known for his role in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, recently played ACP Ayushmaan in the reboot of the popular crime series CID. The actor wrapped up the shoot for the television soap and has been sharing exciting insights from the same. In the latest post on Instagram, Samthaan dropped a series of snaps. He revealed his valuable learnings from the senior actors while shooting.
Parth Samthaan began his carousel with some selfies he clicked alongside the entire cast of CID, including Dayanand Shetty (Inspector Daya), Aditya Srivastava (Senior Inspector Abhijeet), Shivaji Satam (ACP Pradyuman), Narendra Gupta (Dr. R. P. Salunkhe) and Hrishikesh Pandey (Sachin), among others. Following this, he shared a photo from his makeup room and a video from one of the shooting days on the sets. Alongside this, he wrote, 'Last but definitely not the least, sharing some BTS from the shoot."

He further penned, 'And from being a fan of Daya sir and Abhijeet sir to working alongside them, sach mein bahot kuch seekhne ko mila (truly got a chance to learn a lot), always fun sitting next to them and they sharing their life and shoot stories #inspiration! overall …entire CID team (cast & crew) was super respectful, kind, helping and loving which is super Rare in today's world!"
Not only this, the Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan actor ended his caption by mentioning the last frame from his post. It featured him dressed in a purple chequered shirt while he was flaunting his moustache and intense gaze for slaying his on-screen as ACP Ayushmaan. 'Btw the last picture is my favourite. Thank you," he concluded.
The post instantly gained the attention of his millions of fans. Samthaan's industry friend Ali Merchant also reacted to it, dropping a red heart in the comment section. With his appearance in CID, the actor somehow broke the phenomenon of getting typecast in a similar kind of role in TV series like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, Hum Do Hamare Baarah and others. He has even expressed the same typecasting struggles he faced in his career before making his fans proud with his appearance in the reboot of the crime series.

His first project here, Ashutosh Gowariker's Lagaan, reached the Oscars, and legitimised the logistical excellence that Apoorva displayed on the nearly six-month long schedule. Now, he is directing Salman Khan in his next film, Battle of Galwan. But, not many know that if not a filmmaker, Aporova could have been a cricketer. In a recent interaction, Apoorva revealed that he was supposed to make his debut as a cricketer alongside Sachin Tendulkar in a Ranji Trophy match in 1988. However, his father was against his dreams of becoming a cricketer and wanted him to manage the family business in Ahmedabad. He told Samir Kochhar on his YouTube channel, 'I got a letter from the Gujarat Ranji Trophy, saying that I was selected to play for the Gujarat Ranji Trophy team and that was the match where Sachin Tendulkar debuted against Gujarat and scored his first 100 runs. I was that good in cricket.' Sachin Tendulkar's Ranji Trophy debut was in a match against Gujarat, playing for Bombay (now Mumbai) at the Wankhede Stadium in December 1988.
