MVP Explains Why He Has ‘Zero Respect' For Triple H, Says It's Not Race-Related
MVP says his issues with Triple H are more personal than some people believe. The Hurt Syndicate's MVP previously made comments about Triple H, which led many fans to believe that he was calling Triple H a racist. In June 2024, MVP sparked some controversy when he said that Triple H saying 'no' to reuniting the Hurt Business did not come as a shock to him. He later clarified that he never called the WWE CCO a racist, but said his opinion about how Black talent is booked in WWE was a different conversation. Advertisement During a recent interview with MVP was asked why he feels Triple H views 'talent of color' in a certain light. MVP pointed out that Bobby Lashley is a big 'bankable' star, but he was 'reduced to the mid-card' in WWE. Despite this issue, MVP once again said that his issues with Triple H have nothing to do with race. MVP says his issues with Triple H are not related to race 'Let's just say this, Bobby Lashley was a two-time WWE Champion, and after he took over, Bobby Lashley was reduced to the mid-card. Bobby Lashley is a bankable, marketable guy. And two time WWE Champion just got reduced to mid card, whatever. What I said, specifically in response to the person on my Instagram page, was that you see it. It's my opinion of how he chooses to book certain talents. Some people say all the time that, 'oh MVP's just griping, MVP's just crying'. Okay, well just watch the program. Who were the people in the top spots under his leadership? Who were given the opportunities? And I'm not talking about NXT. I'm talking about the main show. 'I have my opinions, based on my personal experiences. And at some point on my podcast and my YouTube show, I'll talk about it. I'll go in depth about what my issues are with that man. And I'll be honest with you, my issues with him have nothing to do with race. My issues have to do with him as a person and our personal interactions and things that he said and did that caused me to have zero respect for him. But I'll get into that on my show. Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze.' AEW Dynamite Review: Hits And Misses For March 12
Welcome or welcome back to our weekly AEW Dynamite hits and misses series where we recap all the good and bad from the how. It's great to see Omega to full health. The match against Takeshita at Revolution was a total banger. Omega's praise for Takeshita is justified. Takeshita defended the title across promotions, making it truly international. The face-off between Omega and Shibata was teased a future match-up between these two former NJPW stars. Why do all of Moxley's promo sound the same? They sound good… until you realize they don't make any sense. The Death Rider storyline really needs to go. Tony Khan should've booked Christian Cage as the winner last Sunday. That said, the Christian-Nick Wayne segment was interesting, to say the least. This was a great debut for 'Speedball' Mike Bailey against the highly underrated Beast Mortos. AEW fans seem to already be familiar with Speedball's game. He had one hell of a career in TNA. Jumping to All Elite Wrestling was, no doubt, the right move for Bailey because of the promotion's fast-paced style of pro wrestling. Lashley and Shelton got the week off because MVP wanted to recruit MJF? If this leads to a MVP splitting from Hurt Syndicate or MJF taking over the group, drop the storyline already. The Hurt Syndicate do not need MJF and vice versa. Let Max finish his storyline feud with Hangman Page and put him in another solo feud, say against Cope, instead of putting him with another faction that seems to be doing great. Toni Storm is arguably the best thing going in AEW. The Timeless gimmick is just brilliant. Storm can insert all these sly innuendoes into her promo and sound fantastic. Last night's promo was another example of her charisma. Megan Bayne seems to be the next challenger but let her finish her feud with Statlander and Willow first. This was horrible. Ospreay can make a wet mop look like a contender. His in-ring abilities completely dwarf his mic skills. They could've put Ospreay in a sit-down segment to sell the punishment he went through inside the steel cage. On the bright side, this writer is looking forward to Ospreay in the Owen Hart Tournament. How would you rate 3/12 AEW Dynamite on a scale of 1 to 10? Let us know in the comments!
