Burglars break in to Anthony Anderson's LA home: Sources
Actor Anthony Anderson's Encino home was broken into by a burglary crew on Sunday night, according to law enforcement sources. Three men broke in but it's unclear what was stolen, the sources said. Nobody has been arrested. Anderson is the latest big-name celebrity to have their Southern California home burglarized. Los Angeles Police Department detectives told ABC News that often the burglary crews don't even know whose home they are in, but odds are the lavish homes they target will belong to a celebrity because it's Los Angeles. On Valentine's Day, burglars broke into Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's Los Angeles home, according to sources. The A-list couple was not home at the time, but the home was ransacked before the group took off. Another A-list couple, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, had their guest home broken into last August. The burglars did not enter the actors' main home, but the couple was not home at the time anyway, sources said. Anderson has had a lengthy career in Hollywood. including a leading role on the sitcom "Black-ish" from 2014 to 2022. He also had a long run on "Law & Order." He's also appeared in movies such as "Barbershop," "Hustle & Flow" and the recently released "G20" alongside Viola Davis.

Terrence Howard rejected the starring role in a Marvin Gaye biopic because he didn't want to kiss a man. The Empire actor revealed on Bill Maher's Club Random podcast that the "biggest mistake" of his career was turning down a Smokey Robinson biopic because he was already in talks with director Lee Daniels about playing Marvin Gaye in a different film. However, he ultimately passed on playing the Let's Get It On hitmaker too following a chat with famed music producer Quincy Jones. 'I was over at Quincy Jones' house and I'm asking Quincy, 'I'm hearing rumours that Marvin was gay' and I'm like, 'Was he gay?' And Quincy's like, 'Yes.'" The Iron Man actor decided that he "could not" star in a film that required him to explore the soul musician's rumoured homosexuality. 'They would've wanted to do that, and I wouldn't have been able to do that," he stated. When podcast host Maher asked Howard if he "couldn't kiss a man on screen in a movie", he replied, "No. Because I don't fake it.' "That would f--k me," he added. "I would cut my lips off. If I kissed some man, I would cut my lips off.' The Hustle & Flow star insisted he wasn't homophobic and that it was more an issue of being able to fully commit to the character. 'That's fine, do what you love to do, but don't do it at me, don't aim it at me," Howard concluded. "I can't play that character 100%, I can't. The 'Empire' star shared that he was 'in Trump's corner' until a significant shift in the administration led to a change of heart. Howard made this admission in a recent interview on Bill Maher's podcast, Club Random. The 'Hustle & Flow' actor revealed that he was in full support of the sitting president until the mass deportations were carried out —yes, the same plans he promised he would execute upon his re-election. Everybody's scared to death now,' he said, In August 2017, Trump sent verbal warnings to North Korea that they would be met with 'fire and fury like they have never seen before' if the country continued to send threats to the U.S. This threat was alarming to global leaders as it incited fears of an imminent war between the two countries. Since the release of the interview, Howard took to X to clarify his reasoning regarding his stance on Trump. 'I want to clarify my comments: I was 100 supportive of Trump until I saw news of an American citizen being wrongfully deported. That crossed a line for me. Protecting American citizens and families should always come first no matter what politics you believe in. My stance has always been about standing up for justice and fairness.' There was no safe space for Terrance Howard as social media weighed in on their thoughts about Howard's recent Trump statements.
