Danny Jones' wife Georgia backs down as she gives praise to husband in family update
Georgia Jones has shared an adorable update with her social media followers as she revealed the label she's willing to 'let' her McFly star husband Danny have Georgia Jones has opened up about the title she's prepared to 'let' hubby Danny wear, alongside a heartwarming family update, following a period of intense media scrutiny. The ex-Miss England and McFly frontman have been hitched since August 2014 and became parents to their son Cooper in 2018. The couple's tear-jerking reunion in the Australian jungle for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last year captured the nation's hearts. However, they faced turmoil when Danny was spotted sharing a 'drunken kiss' with his I'm A Celebrity campmate Maura Higgins during the raucous BRIT Awards 2025 afterparty in March. The scandal erupted the day after the awards ceremony, held at London's O2 on March 1, with footage emerging online that seemed to catch the McFly singer in an intimate moment with Maura. Nearly two weeks on, Danny broke his silence with his initial response to the swirling rumours. In a message uploaded to his Instagram Story, he wrote: "Hello everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me. "I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately." Danny and Georgia have carried on as usual with their public appearances, and in a recent social media update, Georgia shared an adorable moment of their son, Cooper, enjoying a McFly concert with his mate. Georgia posted videos of the boys eagerly watching from the front of the stage, before they got the chance to jump onto it in front of the huge crowd. In her post, podcast host Georgia said: "I'll let @dannyjonesofficial have 'cool parent' if it means I get to watch Cooper and his bestie Jude have the time of their lives." The comments section was soon brimming with messages. @slmarsh91 said: "We LOVED watching Cooper have the best time! He looked like he enjoyed every minute." @ktbunko said: "Awww so cute! ! We were there on Sunday loved seeing Cooper and his friend living their best lives on stage." @beapipoca_ gushed: "So so lovely! At the age of 7, Coops can stir a crowd and dance with his bestie like the day won't end, that's so cute." @charlt88 responded: "Omg them on stage waving is too cute." @joanneh0902 said: "Amazing, I think your son has 2 cool parents." And @cami. paixaoo added: "So amazing. I bet you both are cool parents!"

This Morning presenter Dermot O'Leary 'lands major new hosting role' away from ITV
Dermot O'Leary is reportedly set to front a new sports-themed gameshow on Channel 5, alongside former I'm A Celebrity contestant Sam Quek This Morning presenter Dermot O'Leary has reportedly secured a hosting role on a new sports gameshow on Channel 5 from the brains behind Gladiators and The Wheel. The 52-year-old television personality is recognised for fronting shows including The X Factor, This Morning, The One Show and numerous others. He's now set to test his skills as a quiz show presenter, working alongside Olympic hockey champion Sam Quek. The Hungry Bear-produced programme centres around American football and is reportedly still in its developmental phase, with insiders suggesting Dermot and Sam make an excellent on-screen duo, reports the Mirror. "The show is at pilot stage but Dermot and Sam have really good chemistry so everyone is excited about taking this to a full series at some point," an insider revealed to The Sun. "Hungry Bear are the masters in this realm, and NFL is such a growth area." Meanwhile, Sam gained recognition through her appearance on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! where she made it to the final four. She previously served as a guest panellist on sports quiz show Play to the Whistle and BBC's A Question of Sport. She's also fronted various sports programmes, including The NFL Show, rugby union coverage on Channel 5, field hockey on BT Sport, and football for Channel 4. Her latest venture saw her competing on the 22nd series of Strictly Come Dancing. This development emerges as Olivia Attwood has reportedly set her sights on former X Factor presenter Dermot's This Morning position, stating she would relish the opportunity to co-host with Alison Hammond. Olivia, already a familiar face on the Loose Women panel since 2023, is now embarking on a fresh challenge. This Morning fans are used to seeing Dermot O'Leary on the Friday episodes with Alison Hammond. In a recent chat with Closer magazine, Olivia couldn't contain her enthusiasm about the prospect of presenting alongside the former Big Brother contestant. She expressed her feelings about joining the team, telling the magazine: "Everyone's been so welcoming." She continued: "The whole team's been lovely, and I'm just excited to get stuck in and learn from people I really admire." When discussing her ideal co-hosting partner, Olivia revealed: "If I ever get to host with Alison, I'm so sure we'd just laugh for two hours straight. Probably three." This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1, from 10am.

I'm a TV critic - I was so wrong about Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'If you get eaten by a shark… that's one hell of a story at the funeral, isn't it?' That's the words of Ross Noble, shortly before he is actually bitten by a shark in the name of ITV's bizarre and surprisingly touching new reality series, Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters. Thankfully, he makes it out of the water unscathed. His first, and I imagine only, shark attack comes from an eight-foot lemon shark, a relatively harmless species of apex predator which chomps on his leg but barely punctures his wetsuit. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Jaws, the Steven Spielberg horror that continues to strike fear into the hearts of all who watch it (causing generations to still be too scared to enter the water) ITV is throwing some of the UK's most beloved celebs into shark infested waters to prove that they have an unreasonably bad rep. On paper, it sounds like a Bushtucker trial ramped up to 100. I'm A Celebrity contestants can – and have – survived the odd nibble from a huntsman spider or a venomless snake but Ant and Dec are yet to throw a Corrie legend in the water with an actual shark. An impressive cast, boasting Sir Lenny Henry, Countdown's Rachel Riley and McFly's Dougie Poynter, is helped by leading shark experts to come face to face with some of the most feared predators in the world in their natural environment. Gradually, they build the courage to free-swim with a tiger shark – widely considered to be one of the most aggressive animals in the ocean. They're welcomed into the process by Paul de Gelder, a charismatic former marine who lost his leg and arm to a bull shark in 2009 but now devotes his life to protecting the animal that almost killed him. It's a stark reminder that while, yes, sharks are misunderstood they're not kittens of the sea. The celebs are thrown straight into the deep end. Paul tells them they'll be getting in the water with more than a dozen bull sharks – the very species that ripped his limbs from his body – but for the only time in this entire process they will be in a cage. There are varying degrees of terror from the stars: On one end of the scale you have Rachel Riley who can't believe her luck ad gleefully dives into the water without a shred of fear. At the other you have Call The Midwife's Helen George, who hasn't dared put her head under water for more than 20 years let alone share a space with a four-meter-long maneater. Even as somewhat of a shark obsessive (rarely a day goes by when I don't lose myself down a rabbit hole of shark videos on Instagram) I wasn't sure how or if Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters would work. Obviously, there's no real jeopardy – not that I'd want that – but without it what is the pull? Unexpectedly, the pull is George, who trembles just looking at the water. Her fear is so deep-rooted she sobs just at the idea of jumping off the boat. But there is no contest here, the entire group is rooting for each other and there is no one to root for more than George, who perhaps seems unlikely to swim with a tiger shark but shows incredible perseverance which becomes a surprisingly moving watch. Determined to be strong for her two children, George pushes herself beyond what she thought possible. Reality television is at its best with camaraderie at its core, and I can't recall another show that shows teamwork quite like this. It's refreshing and actually quite a bold move not to have any contest running through Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters but it's a gamble that pays off. I had no idea what there would be to love about watching celebrities learning to dive but there are few reality shows which show so much growth and so quickly. But Shark! Celebrity Waters sets out to serve a greater purpose than just reducing Helen George to a nervous breakdown. More Trending Initially, I feared it was just a cheap attempt to disguise putting celebrities in precarious situations with a deadly predator, but it does genuinely feel determined to prove sharks are so far from the monster Jaws portrayed them to be. Without sharks, the ocean dies and if the ocean dies then we die. Sadly, that's not as sexy a tagline as 'just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water'. Will Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters cause a surge in sympathy for sharks? It's a tough sell, but it's definitely a step in the right direction and does feel far more well-intentioned than I thought it would. Coleen Nolan makes sad admission about 'not feeling sexy' and needing boyfriend
Loose Women legend Coleen Nolan has opened up about the sad reason she "doesn't feel sexy" when she is at home in the UK. Coleen Nolan has admitted that she doesn't feel "sexy" unless she is on holiday. The Loose Women favourite, 60, candidly spoke of her discomfort during the rising temperatures, and insisted that she couldn't stand the thought getting intimate with anyone after she had been looking after livestock on her farm amid the intense heat. During a discussion with fellow panellists Jane Moore and Judi Love and anchor Christine Lampard about feeling attractive in the heat on Monday's episode of the ITV chat show Coleen confessed: "On holiday, yeah but not here." She added: "This weekend, for instance, it was so hot and I stank of horses. I was sweating from places I didn't even know existed and then I thought if I had have a partner, he would have not a chance in hell because I'm too hot!" When former I'm A Celebrity star Jane pointed out out that, according to a psychologist, sunshine was what was needed to boost libido, Coleen quipped: "And a really good fan..." The innuendo prompted fits of laughter from the studio audience, before she clarified her joke by waving her hand in front of her face. Coleen, who split from Michael Jones in December 2024 - three years after they matched on Tinder - then claimed that she needed to "get a boyfriend" in order to fully understand the benefits that the effects the sunshine had to offer her. The I'm In The Mood For Dancing songstress, who recently enjoyed a holiday abroad and documented the trip for her Instagram followers, admitted that she and Michael "would rather just stay friends,", so they went their separate ways. After the split, Coleen said: "It's nothing to do with anyone else, it's nobody's fault. But I'm really busy and when I'm not really busy with work I'm busy on the farm and I feel personally that I can't give time to everything. We still get along great and hopefully we can continue to be friends, who knows?" While she's still officially single, Coleen said she'd "probably date again", but was waiting for the right time - and the right person to come along. "The men I meet are either married or gay, so I've no hope in the industry I'm in,' she exclusively told OK!. 'And I don't go out to bars, unless they're serving me a cup of tea.' With limited time for dating, Coleen didn't rule out signing up to a dating app to find her perfect match. 'Apparently, there's one that's aimed at country folk, called Muddy Matches, so that'll be the one I try when I'm up for it,' she said. 'But whoever I date, I'm not sure I want their toothbrush in my bathroom. I've been in relationships my whole life and I'm enjoying having my house to myself, not worrying about anyone else." Coleen, who was once married to EastEnders actor Shane Richie, followed by musician Ray Fensome, said she doesn't' necessarily miss "sex", but the odd bit physical affection would be welcome.
