BTS Star Jin's Album Echo Debuts At 3rd Position On Billboard 200
Since returning from military service last year, BTS star Jin has been breaking records with his new solo mini-album, Echo. The South Korean singer quickly grabbed attention by reaching the top spots on the Billboard charts, surpassing artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Kendrick Lamar and Bad Bunny. Although Jin's album didn't surpass Morgan Wallen's song I'm The Problem, which holds the number one position, Echo still had a strong start, selling 34,500 pure copies, around 1,00,000 fewer than Wallen's track, but remains a fan favourite. For comparison, Jin's previous song Happy peaked at number three after its release. According to reports, Jin's new album, which includes 7 tracks, has entered the Billboard 200 at number 3. While the idol couldn't top Wallen's I'm The Problem or SZA's SOS, the biggest debut of 2025, Echo still opened with 43,000 equivalent units, as per Luminate. This number helped the singer beat the previous success of his song Happy, which had reached number 4 in 2024. The song marked Jin's first solo entry into the Billboard 200's top 10, and now Echo has taken things a step further.

Morgan Wallen Dominates Hot 100 With Six of Top 10 Spots, Tops Chart With Tate McRae on ‘What I Want'
Morgan Wallen has taken over the charts this week as 'What I Want' featuring Tate McRae has topped Billboard's Hot 100, while his fourth album I'm The Problem landed atop the albums chart as the biggest debut of 2025 so far. Overall, Wallen has six songs in the Top 10 this week, including all of the top three slots. 'What I Want' is Wallen's fourth Hot 100 chart-topper, and the first for McRae, whose biggest hit to this point has been 2023's 'Greedy,' which peaked at Number Three on the Hot 100. The song garnered 31.2 million streams, per Luminate. 'Just in Case' secured the second slot, while title track 'I'm The Problem' came in third. Wallen dethrones Kendrick Lamar and SZA's 'Luther,' which had spent the past 13 weeks atop the Hot 100 prior to this week. It took less than a day for the album to become the most-streamed country record of the year on the major streaming platforms. I'm The Problem also secured 133,000 album sales as well. Wallen dethroned The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow for the biggest album debut of the year. Despite his own controversies in years past, Wallen has proven to be one of the biggest superstars in the country. Wallen's impressive opening this week reflects a continued surge in country music the singer has helped bolster over the past five years. While the streaming era has minted several stars like Luke Combs and Zach Bryan, Wallen remains the biggest act. Prior to I'm The Problem, Wallen topped the charts with Dangerous: The Double Album and One Thing at a Time, both of which remain in the top 15 years after release. As The Hollywood Reporter first reported last month, Wallen's record label Big Loud has cashed in on that popularity, selling a minority stake in his catalog to the UMG-backed Chord Music partners for $200 million. Morgan Wallen's new album dominates Billboard with ‘What I Want' featuring Tate McRae at No. 1
Morgan Wallen's latest track, What I Want, featuring Tate McRae, has made a huge splash by debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The pop ballad, which sees Wallen and McRae harmonizing about an on-again, off-again relationship, helped propel Wallen's new album, I'm The Problem, to the top of the Billboard 200 as well. The album's success marks a major milestone for the country artist, whose release garnered 31.2 million streams in its opening week and claimed the largest debut of 2025 with 493,000 units earned, surpassing The Weeknd's January album launch. What I Want marks Wallen's fourth Hot 100 No. 1 hit, while it is McRae's first time at the top, following her successful track 'Greedy' that peaked at No. 3 earlier this year. The song is part of Wallen's two-hour-long album, which also features other chart-toppers like Just in Case and I'm The Problem. The overwhelming success of the album comes on the back of record-breaking numbers for streaming, where it leads the year with 462.63 million on-demand streams. -Instagram. Despite the massive success of What I Want, Tate McRae's collaboration with Wallen was initially met with a lukewarm response from some of her fans. When McRae hinted at the pairing with Wallen on Instagram, the news quickly drew attention, with social media reactions questioning her decision to team up with a controversial figure like Wallen. this might not be a career suicide but this is reputation suicide — anshi ! Morgan Wallen Dominates Apple Music Charts
Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest stars in country music right now, but based on a rather shocking announcement on Monday morning, it's clear that he is also the top artist on the planet right now in any genre – at least in terms of streaming popularity. Every day, Apple Music updates its "Top 100: Global" playlist, which ranks the most popular songs on the streaming service. "The most popular songs around the world, updated every day," Apple says in the playlist's description. On Sunday, Morgan Wallen thoroughly took over the chart. As Pop Crave announced on social media on Monday, Wallen's songs occupied 35 of the top 50 slots on the playlist. This came shortly after the country music superstar released his new album "I'm The Problem" on Friday, May 19. Clearly, the album was an instant success with nearly every song from the album topping the Apple Music charts. In addition to having 35 songs in the top 50, Wallen also had the five most popular songs in the world. His collaboration With Tate McRae, "What I Want," topped the list with "Just in Case," "Superman," "I Got Better," and "I'm the Problem" all following, all of which are from his latest album. Needless to say, it's shocking for one artist to have such massive success after an album release, and the news certainly turned heads on social media. "Funny how it's been progressively going up, and the album dropped 70 hours ago," one fan wrote in a post on X. "Dude will be in the country music hall of fame when his career is over," someone else added. "That's absurd," another person wrote. "Country fans eating good," someone else commented. "When consistency meets fan love, records fall!," another person wrote. Clearly, Wallen's new album has been an enormous success.
