1 2 Nagpur: Under the inspiration of Srila Lokanath Swami Maharaj, a disciple of ISKCON Founder-Acharya AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON Nagpur's Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple will celebrate Krishna Janmashtami Mahotsav on August 16. A preparatory meeting, chaired by Dr Shyamsundar Sharma, chairman of Annamrita Foundation Nagpur and ISKCON Nagpur spokesperson, was held at the temple. Chief guest was Kanish Vadera from Amsterdam, along with his daughter Pavitra Vadera. Also present on the stage were festival committee heads Vishal Das and Venugopal Das, Dharma Putra Yudhishthir Das from the accounts department, and Sachitanay Gaur Prabhu from the social media department. The stage was conducted by Venugopal Prabhu. All speakers shared details of the Janmashtami celebrations. This year, the festival will be in a waterproof pandal near the temple. On August 15, special darshan will be open from 4.30am till midnight. On Janmashtami day, rituals will start with mangala aarti at 4.30am, followed by kirtans, shringar aarti, guru puja, and Srimad-Bhagavatam discourse. From 11am onwards, continuous abhishek will be performed by devotees. The evening programme from 5pm will feature Hare Krishna kirtans, guest welcomes, and cultural performances including Bharatanatyam, devotional dances, dramas, and thematic presentations. The celebration will conclude at midnight with maha aarti and offering of 56 bhog items. Festival coordination involves contributions from numerous devotees, ensuring a grand celebration. Jagannath Snan Yatra celebrated with devotion at ISKCON

1 2 3 4 Nagpur: The ISKCON Nagpur celebrated the sacred Jagannath Snan Yatra with great devotion at Shri Shri Radha Gopinath Temple, near Gandhi Sagar. Inspired by Lokanath Swami Maharaj, the event began with bhajans and kirtans, followed by a discourse by Prannath Prabhu on the spiritual significance of the festival. He explained that Snan Yatra is a divine expression of Lord Jagannath's compassion, offering devotees a chance to purify their hearts through darshan and service. The ritual bathing (abhishek) of Lord Jagannath, Baladev, and Maa Subhadra with 108 sacred water pots was performed by ISKCON leaders including Satchidanand Prabhu and Vrajendra Tanay Prabhu who were joined by special guests and devotees. The celebration culminated with aarti and the distribution of mahaprasad to hundreds of devotees. ISKCON spokesperson Dr Shyamsunder Sharma thanked all volunteers for their support and announced the Jagannath Rath Yatra will be held on June 28, starting from Poddareshwar Ram Mandir. The success of this grand celebration was made possible by the dedicated services of many ISKCON Nagpur devotees, including Vrajendra Tanay Prabhu, Vishal Prabhu, Venugopal Prabhu, Aradhya Bhagavan Prabhu, Narhari Thakur Prabhu, Dharma Putra Yudhishthir Prabhu, Param Karuna Prabhu, Sachitanaya Gaur Prabhu, Kalpataru Prabhu, Gopal Leela Prabhu, Jai Krishna Prabhu, Sadhana Bhakti Mataji, Yugal Naam Nishtha Prabhu, Jai Giridhari Prabhu, Hemant Thakre Prabhu, Rajesh Raikwar Prabhu, Pandharinath Prabhu, Prasannajeet Prabhu, Kaushalendra Ram Das Prabhu, Kinkar Vaishnav Prabhu, Prathamesh Prabhu, Rutik Muneswar Prabhu, Akshay Nagatode Prabhu, and many others.

1 2 Nagpur: The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) Nagpur to host Jagannath Rath Yatra on June 28 starting at 12 noon from Poddareshwar Ram Mandir (Mayo Hospital Square). The procession will pass through key locations, concluding at the ISKCON Temple. A preparatory meeting for the yatra was held at ISKCON Nagpur. The meeting discussed event layout, service distribution, city route planning, promotion, and security arrangements. Senior devotees, including Brajenra Tanay Prabhu and Venu Gopal Prabhu, were present.
