Hezbollah MP Urges Lebanese Prime Minister to Visit Beirut's Dahiyeh and Witness Israeli Aggression
MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, a member of Hezbollah's Loyalty to Resistance bloc, called on Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his ministers to visit the southern suburbs of Beirut (Dahiyeh) to witness firsthand the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its people. Speaking to media outlets from the site of the Israeli airstrike in the Jamous-Hadath residential area on Sunday evening, Al-Moussawi stated, 'We are waiting for Prime Minister Nawaf Salam to come, along with his government, to visit here, see the people, feel their pulse, and witness the Israeli aggression against his government, his country, and his people.' Call for International Pressure MP Al-Moussawi urged Prime Minister Salam to convene an emergency meeting with his government and invite the Lebanese foreign minister, along with ambassadors from the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and other Western diplomats. He stressed that the prime minister should bring them to the site of the Israeli attack to apply pressure on them to take action. Rejection of Sovereignty Violations Concluding his remarks, MP Ibrahim Al-Moussawi declared, 'This violation of national sovereignty is completely unacceptable,' subtly criticizing those who remain silent or hesitant in the face of Israel's aggression against Lebanon and its people.

In other remarks he published on his X account, MP Al-Moussawi commented on Israeli claims that the targeted building included Hezbollah headquarters. 'Israeli FM says that the army targeted Hezbollah headquarters in Dahiyeh at dawn. However, the truth is that the enemy targeted residential apartments inhabited by civilians, and the world witnessed the falsity of the enemy's claims live on air!' — Ibrahim Al Moussawi (@ibrahimmousawi) April 1, 2025 For his part, Hezbollah MP Ali Ammar said 'the Israeli enemy through such attacks offends the reputation of the international community.' 'Lebanese Forces' Officials Urge ‘Israel', Syria Terrorists to Disarm Hezbollah Even If Massacres Required
The Israeli brutality and barbarism in Gaza and South Lebanon have pushed certain political forces in Lebanon to escalate their rhetoric against Hezbollah and the resistance supporters in an attempt to seize the 'historic opportunity'. The 'Lebanese Forces' politicians and officials blatantly and insolently resorted to the language of sedition and incitement against the resistance. FM Youssef Rajji, named by the 'Lebanese Forces' had promoted slander against Hezbollah, accusing it of violating the ceasefire. Member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc and member of the Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Moussawi, considered that the statements of Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji, in which he accused Hezbollah of evading from the ceasefire agreement, constitute 'an open certificate of innocence' for the Israeli enemy to continue its crimes. Newly, MP Ghassan Hasbani called on the Lebanese Army to disarm Hezbollah, warning that, otherwise, the Israeli enemy and Syria terrorists would carry out this mission. The 'Lebanese Forces'spokesman, Charles Jabbour, called for disarming Hezbollah and blocking all kinds of support it receives from Iran, even if this target requires massacres in order to be reached.

Hezbollah Lawmaker: Lebanese Foreign Minister's Remarks Grant Israeli Enemy Certificate of Innocence to Continue Its Crimes
In a statement published by Hezbollah's Media Relations, MP Al-Moussawi pointed out that 'this is not the first time that Rajji throws accusations and promotes slander against Hezbollah, while the enemy continues its aggression against Lebanon and the Lebanese. 'The enemy is escalating its crimes and daily violations of sovereignty and killing the Lebanese in a continuous and blatant violation of UN Resolution 1701 and the executive procedures paper emanating from it.' 'We had hoped that the Lebanese Foreign Minister would carry out the minimum of his national duties and responsibilities in face of the enemy's crimes, by denouncing them, presenting them to the international community, and demanding that it carry out its duty by imposing on the enemy the implementation of the ceasefire agreement. However, he went too far in his fabrications to accuse Hezbollah of evading the ceasefire in a very dangerous stance that turns against national principles and government policies and gives the enemy justification for its attacks and an open certificate of innocence to continue its crimes,' MP Al-Moussawi said. MP Al-Moussawi stressed that Hezbollah 'is committed to the same commitments made by the Lebanese government to the requirements of Resolution 1701 and the executive procedures paper, and that one of the most basic duties of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is to abide by the directives of the President of the Republic and the policies of the government, which must take the initiative to correct this minister's statements, as they distort the facts and harm the national interest.'
