Band to host Glasgow gigs to celebrate two iconic albums

Belle and Sebastian will celebrate three decades of Tigermilk and If You're Feeling Sinister by performing the beloved albums in full during a series of two-night stands at classic venues across the UK, Europe, the US, Canada, and Mexico. As part of the shows, the band, founded in Glasgow in 1994, will perform at the Kelvingrove Bandstand on June 26 and 27, 2026. (Image: Anna Isola Crolla) Since then, they have attained 'mythic status' - 'greatest of all time' - with songs from them spending decades 'populating mixtapes and playlists. Currently, the Scottish indie pop group consists of Stuart Murdoch, Stevie Jackson, Sarah Martin, Chris Geddes, Richard Colbrum, Bobby Kildea, and Dave McGowan. They are known for their tunes, including The Boy With the Arab Strap, Get Me Away from Here, I'm Dying, Piazza, New York Catcher, Sleep the Clock Around, and Another Sunny Day. Glasgow rockers Belle and Sebastian will be taking to stages across the planet next year. They will be back on tour in 2026 to celebrate 30 years since the release of two albums. Their debut studio album Tigermilk and second release If You're Feeling Sinister were both released in 1996. To celebrate the milestone, the band will be performing both albums IN FULL across the world. A series of two-night runs will be held in cities across the world. The first night will have them perform Tigermilk hits such as The State I Am In and, Expectations and Electronic Renaissance. They will follow it up with hits from their second album like The Stars of Track and Field and Seeing Other People. The band will hit the road and start with the European leg of the tour before two gigs in the UK. They will then jet off to North America for two months of gigs. Before ending it at the Kelvingrove Bandstand in their home city of Glasgow on June 26 and 27.
