Police raid Neon's livestream with Iggy Azalea after swatting and illegal gambling allegations
A livestream hosted by controversial internet personality Rangesh 'N3on' Mutama, better known as Neon, was abruptly interrupted on August 4, 2025, after a reported swatting incident led police to raid the show mid-broadcast. Australian rapper Iggy Azalea was a guest on the stream, which aired on Kick. Clips circulating online show uniformed officers entering the set as the broadcast continued live. Several individuals were reportedly detained at the scene amid accusations of illegal gambling activities occurring during the show. However, whether these allegations are valid or part of the swatting hoax remains unclear. Multiple people were arrested on Neon's stream with Iggy Azalea after they were swatted over suspected illegal gambling 👀 — FearBuck (@FearedBuck) August 4, 2025 Swatting is the act of falsely reporting an emergency to provoke an armed police response — a serious federal crime that has affected numerous streamers. In this case, the tip-off allegedly included claims of unlicensed gambling taking place live. While Neon has a history of online controversy — including a prior swatting incident in 2024 and an arrest in Dubai — this latest disruption highlights rising tensions between livestreaming and public safety. Among the guests on the stream was Iggy Azalea, who has recently ventured into livestreaming and cryptocurrency-related content. Although she appeared on camera during the police entry, there is no suggestion that Azalea was involved in or aware of any wrongdoing. The earliest report of the incident surfaced via a post from user FearedBuck, who wrote, 'Several were detained during Neon's stream with Iggy Azalea after they were swatted due to suspected illegal gambling.' That quote has since spread widely across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, often without attribution or verification. As the footage continues to trend, law enforcement has not released an official statement. Until more reliable reporting emerges, speculation around arrests or confirmed gambling activity remains unverified.

Ariana Grande Brings Some Of Her Biggest Singles Back To The Charts
Several Ariana Grande smashes, such as "Break Free" and "Defying Gravity" and "Popular" from Wicked, ... More return to the charts in the U.K. and become bestsellers again. LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - FEBRUARY 25: Ariana Grande attends the 97th Annual Oscars Nominees Dinner at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on February 25, 2025 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by) Ariana Grande's latest album Eternal Sunshine can still be found on the charts, as fans in the United Kingdom are still buying and streaming the collection from the pop superstar, though she is no longer actively promoting the Grammy-nominated full-length. Notably, while Grande appears on multiple singles tallies in that country, none of her current charting wins come from Eternal Sunshine. Instead, she fills several spots across a variety of rankings with other tunes disconnected from her latest era, many of which return this week to become bestselling cuts once again. Ariana Grande's Many Charting Hits Grande sees four of her songs appear on at least one chart in the U.K. at the moment, and three of them are returns — and most in fairly lofty positions. Her only holdover is 'Problem,' her team-up with Iggy Azalea. That track rises from No. 78 to No. 63 on the Official Physical Singles chart. Wicked Singles Return to the Top 20 Several of Grande's Wicked tracks, as well as her smash 'Break Free,' also find their way back to tallies in the U.K. 'Popular' and 'Defying Gravity,' two of her duets with co-star Cynthia Erivo, can both be found inside the top 20 on the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles rankings. 'Break Free,' meanwhile, reenters the roster of the bestselling cuts on physical formats — like CD, cassette, or vinyl — at No. 87. Ariana Grande's Past Top 10 Successes All of Grande's current wins on the U.K. charts have already cracked the top 10 on the tallies where they can be found. Some have only lived on these lists for about a month, such as 'Popular' and 'Defying Gravity' on the Official Vinyl Singles ranking, while 'Problem' has spent more than a year as one of the top-selling tracks on any physical medium. Eternal Sunshine Rises on Several Lists – and Also Falls Eternal Sunshine is experiencing something of a mixed performance at the moment. Well over a year after it debuted, the set rises on both the Official Albums and Official Physical Albums charts, coincidentally hitting No. 60 after appearing in completely different positions last week. The project dips a few spots when it comes to streaming, but returns to the Official Albums Sales roster, coming in at No. 65.

Triple J kicks off new Aussie-themed poll - after Chappell Roan and Doja Cat's Hottest 100 wins copped public backlash
Triple J has extended an almighty olive branch to the Australian public, after back-to-back Hottest 100 wins by American artists sounded the death knell of the song contest's popularity. On Tuesday, June 17 voting officially opened for the new poll, 'The Hottest 100 of Australian songs'. The new countdown will take place on July 26 and has strict rules in place to ensure it honours Triple J's 50 years on-air milestone, and the 'support local' ethos of the national song contest which began in 1989. Eligible songs must have been released by January 19, 2025 and they must feature at least 50 per cent Australian artists. For example 'Rhyme Dust' by Dom Dolla and MK and 'Fancy' by Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX pass, but no song by Split Enz will be considered. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'Because they are from New Zealand,' the voting page explains. Triple J's presenters have already weighed in with their favourites on social media, and so have a raft of Aussie artists. 'Hey guys Jimmy Barnes here,' the iconic rock singer said in a video posted on the voting page. 'I'm voting for Jett - Are You Gonna Be My Girl? Just because it's such a great recording, they are such a tight band, and he is such an awesome singer. I just thought that song jumped out of the radio when I heard it and it still does 'til this day,' Barnes said. Are You Gonna Be My Girl? won the hottest 100 in the 2003 year of its release. Missy Higgins will also be putting a 2003 track in her No.1 spot - London Still by The Waifs. 'I did so much touring with the Waifs back in the day when I was a wee little 17-year-old,' Higgins said. 'That band just took me on the road. They took me under their wing. I was such fan, it was like a dream come true. 'This song encapsulates that experience and that memory for me. It's such an Australian rite of passage going away to London for a bit and coming back.' Tash Sultana will be voting for Miracle by Matt Corby. 'Matt is a mate of mine. We've done a lot of work together and I think he is an underrated musician - who is so talented and works with so many people - that I don't really think that he's gotten the flowers that he deserves.' While some of our famous musicians are emphatically backing their colleagues and mentors, others are shamelessly campaigning for the win. The Veronicas' official account commented '*violins start playing*,' on the post in reference to their self-dubbed 'national anthem' Untouched. 'Literally come on,' Aussie pop group Cub Sport commented, as they encouraged people to vote for Mess Me Up. In 1994, Triple J rebooted the Hottest 100 concept so that only songs released in the previous calendar year are eligible. This format has seen Flume and Powderfinger top the charts on multiple occasions, with Angus & Julia Stone, Vance Joy, Chet Faker, The Wiggles, Ocean Alley, and Spiderbait also claiming the title in the contest's long history. Meanwhile, international acts like Oasis, Billie Eilish, The Cranberries, Gotye, and Kendrick Lamar have also taken out the top honour. Voting for the Hottest 100 of Australian Songs will close on July 17 at 5pm AEST. Notably, no tracks recorded for triple J's long-running Like A Version cover series will be considered. Listeners were highly critical of the Triple J presenters' top picks, as passionate music fans flooded the comments However, if an Australian song has been significantly re-record or remixed, it can be eligible for two separate entries. One particularly passionate Flume fan kept the caps lock on as he waded into the comments with this rallying cry: 'INNERBLOOM AND DON'T SPLIT THE VOTE WITH THE REMIX FFS.' As thousands of suggestions flooded the comments section, younger listeners encouraged people to get their 'parents and grandparents' to vote to ensure no Aussie 'classics' are missed. The announcement comes after US singer Chappell Roan claimed the win in 2025 with her Sapphic earworm 'Good Luck Babe!'. Listeners were less than impressed with overseas acts ruling the chart for the second year in a row, after Doja Cat's 'Paint The Town Red' won in 2024. Just 29 songs of the top 100 came from Australian acts in 2025, with Melbourne DJ Dom Dolla charting highly and Amyl and the Sniffers gaining multiple entries
