JoJo Siwa announces Glasgow date on Infinity Heart Tour
The 22-year-old performer, best known for her appearances on Dance Moms and Celebrity Big Brother, will take to the stage in the city on Tuesday, 1 October, for what will be her only Scottish date on the European leg of the tour. Jojo's Infinity Heart Tour promises a mix of her classic hits, brand-new music, and her signature high-energy stage presence, making the Glasgow show a must-see for fans across Scotland. Siwa will also play in Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, London, Brighton, Birmingham, Cardiff, Paris, Cologne, and Warsaw. JoJo Siwa fuels UK move speculation as she announces HUGE news amid her blossoming romance with Chris Hughes
JoJo Siwa has shared some exciting news for her UK fans as her relationship with Chris Hughes continues to flourish. The American star, 22, first met Chris, 32, during their time on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year, where the pair quickly became friends. That bond soon evolved into a romantic relationship, sparking speculation that JoJo might be considering a more permanent move to the UK. While nothing is confirmed on that front, it's clear she'll be spending more time across the pond as she took to her Instagram on Thursday with a big announcement. The pop star revealed that her Infinity Heart Tour will be heading to Europe later this year. Alongside a poster of the tour, she penned: 'My INFINITY HEART TOUR is coming to EUROPE! 'The love and kindness you all have shown me means the world to me and I can't wait to start my Infinity Heart Tour with you! 'It's all of your favorite JoJo songs that you know and love plus, new music that I can't wait for you all to hear! 'Let's make tons of unforgettable memories singing and dancing together! See you soon!' JoJo will call in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, London, Brighton, Birmingham, and Cardiff between September 29 and October 9. She will then head to Paris on October 12, Cologne on October 13, and Warsaw on October 15. Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST on July 21. JoJo is currently touring North America and is set to perform a show in Louisville, Kentucky on July 17. Since releasing her song Guilty Pleasure last July, the star has followed up with a string of singles, most recently a cover of Kim Carnes' 1981 hit Bette Davis Eyes. Since meeting Chris, JoJo has shared she's been embraced by her newfound British fanbase, in stark contrast to the cruel backlash she's faced from some fans in the States. The star has embraced many parts of British culture, enjoying a Sunday roast with Chris mere days after they left the CBB house. The star has also admitted she's now a converted tea-drinker, and soaked up the British countryside last month when she met Chris' family at their home in The Cotswolds. During a dance class at Pineapple Dance Studios last month, JoJo also hinted that she'd be willing to relocate to the UK for Chris, saying she feels 'so loved' by her newfound British fanbase. She said: 'Interestingly enough I feel so loved right now by the world, it's been beautiful. 'It's the UK and I really feel it from here.. it's been really beautiful this last month, it's been beautiful, it's been lovely, and I think I have just never been genuinely happier. JoJo then coyly went onto add: 'You can see it, it radiates off me, and yeah there's a reason why!' During the chat, the star was asked whether she'd be open to relocating to the UK to be with Chris, and JoJo said that while it may be an option in the future, she feels there's 'no shame' in dividing her time between the US and UK for now. 'Obviously I have a beautiful boy here and he's incredible, obviously he's here, his friends are here and his family is here,' she said. 'Obviously I'm in America, my friends are in America, my family is in America. 'Life is life, and I think there's no shame in splitting time, and all of a sudden one way is that way and the other way is that way, I don't know we go as we go! But yeah I love it here! It's beautiful. 'Honestly, coming here as a kid I used to, this sounds horrible, I used to dread it because I didn't understand the food, I didn't understand the culture. 'After Big Brother I have never loved a place more, and I think it's because I really got embraced with the culture and the food by being literally in a house with just that, when it's all that. 'But it's genuinely become my favourite place in the world, I could spend all my time here, I love it.'
