Infinix launches Hot 60i 5G with Dimensity 6400 and 120 Hz display, starting at Rs 9,2999
Infinix has introduced a new model to its Hot series, the Hot 60i 5G. The latest affordable mid-segment smartphone from the brand has a few interesting features. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage costs Rs 9,299 in India. The phone can be purchased for just Rs 8,999 using bank offers. The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart and at a few retail locations on August 21. It will be available in four colour variations: Plum Red, Monsoon Green, Sleek Black, and Shadow Blue. The Hot 60i 5G gets an IP64 rating that protects it from dust and water and TÜV certification, ensuring five years of lag-free experience. Infinix's latest smartphone sports a 6.75-inch HD+ screen with 720×1600 pixel resolution. In addition, the gadget has a 20:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 per cent, a peak brightness of 670 nits, a 120 Hz screen refresh rate, and a touch sampling rate of up to 240 Hz. The MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor powers the smartphone. In addition, it has 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. A microSD card can be used to increase the memory up to 2TB. The gadget is powered by the company's proprietary XOS 5.1 and Android 15. The Infinix model is loaded with a 50-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.6 aperture and phase detection autofocus, or PDAF. It also features a 5-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. Interestingly, the brand claims that the Hot 60i 5G comes equipped with some interesting AI features, including Circle to Search, AI Call Translation, AI Summarisation, AI Writing Assistant, AI Eraser for photo editing, and AI Wallpaper Generator. Besides, it has a Folax voice assistant that offers hands-free functions and personalised responses.

The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6400 SoC, runs Android 15-based XOS 15.1, and has 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage onboard, which is expandable by up to 2TB via a microSD card. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G features a 6.75" 120Hz HD+ LCD on the front with 670 nits of peak brightness; however, it has a notch for the selfie camera instead of the punch hole we have on the Hot 60i 4G's screen. The selfie camera's resolution has also been downgraded from 8MP to 5MP. Around the back is a dual camera setup, headlined by a 50MP camera. Infinix didn't mention what the second camera does, but it's probably an auxiliary unit. The Infinix Hot 60i 5G is fueled by a 6,000 mAh battery, which is 840 mAh larger than what its 4G counterpart comes with. The charging speed is significantly reduced from 45W to 18W, though. But for what it's worth, you get 10W of reverse wired charging. The rest of the Infinix Hot 60i 5G's highlights include Infinix AI, a dedicated microSD card slot, an IP64 rating, an IR blaster, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
