IMS Dubai Presented by Beatport Returns 13th-14th Nov, 2025

IMS Dubai Presented by Beatport Returns 13th-14th Nov, 2025 The two-day summit aims to be a key meeting point for fostering growth, collaboration, and sustainable development across the region's rapidly expanding music markets. International Music Summit (IMS), a leading global platform for electronic music in Ibiza, is returning for a second edition in Dubai, presented by Beatport, from November 13th to 14th. Building on the success of IMS' MENA debut in Dubai last year in 2024 and its mission to foster conversations and connections within the rapidly evolving region, IMS Dubai 2025 will feature two days of expert-led panel discussions, keynotes, and networking opportunities, plus a curated evening programming. The summit will celebrate the region's thriving electronic music scene, bringing together a slew of artists, collectives, and visionaries driving its growth and evolution. It will also explore the future of the music scene and its broader impact on the creative and commercial industries, offering valuable insights on opportunities in investment, gaming, and evolving technology. Last year, IMS Dubai was packed with discussions and keynotes on various topics, spanning trends, innovations, and challenges facing the music community, with speakers from YouTube, Warner Music Group, Anghami, Tomorrowland, CAA, and Defected. The exclusive evening parties also featured a stellar lineup of artists such as Deep Dish, Cosmicat, Saliah, Yas Meen Selectress and Stryv, with a series of exclusive evening parties. 'It's exciting to see how IMS Dubai has already become a vital touchpoint for the region. The energy, curiosity, and ideas we saw last year made it clear that this is a place that can provide lots of knowledge and value.' Pete Tong, Co-founder of IMS, tells SceneNoise, 'We're really building momentum and giving a platform to local and international talent who are moving the needle and pushing boundaries. Dubai is fast becoming a hub for forward-thinking creators, and IMS is right at the heart of it.' This year, IMS Dubai, presented by Beatport, will take place at the 25hours Hotel One Central, positioning the summit at one of the city's most vibrant hubs for music and culture. With its focus on investment, entrepreneurship, and emerging trends, IMS Dubai aims to serve as a vital meeting point to foster growth, collaboration, and sustainable development across the region's fast-growing markets. Early bird tickets for the summit are now available on Stay tuned to SceneNoise for announcements about the IMS Dubai 2025 speaker roster, artist showcases, and evening program.

IMS to Host ‘Exploring Opportunities in Middle East' Panel April 23rd

IMS to Host 'Exploring Opportunities in Middle East' Panel April 23rd IMS 2025's theme is 'Intergenerational Exchange', aiming to bridge the gap between generations in electronic music. As global attention continues to shift towards the rapidly evolving music scenes of the Middle East, this year's International Music Summit in Ibiza will spotlight the region's potential with a panel titled "A Cultural Evolution: Exploring Opportunities in the Middle East," taking place on April 23rd at 4:15PM on the Outdoor Summit Stage. Moderated by Billboard's Director of Dance/Electronic Katie Bain, the panel will bring together key voices shaping the future of electronic music across the region, including Timmy Mowafi, Founder of SceneNoise; Ninyaz Aziza, Radio Presenter at MDLBEAST Radio; Hassan Ghazawi one half of Saudi DJ/Producer duo Dish Dash and co-founder of label In Act, Edwin Harb, Senior Label Manager at MDLBEAST Records; and Dolly Makhoul, MENA Director at Believe. Together, they'll unpack the Middle East's growing influence on the global industry, from Saudi Arabia's explosive cultural transformation and Dubai's rise as a potential 'Winter Ibiza', to the region's deep-rooted yet underexplored dance music heritage. Building on the momentum from IMS's first MENA edition in Dubai earlier this year, the conversation will dive into the region's booming ecosystem of artists, labels, and events, and explore what's next for one of the most exciting frontiers in dance music today. The International Music Summit (IMS) is a leading global platform for electronic music, bringing together thought leaders, artists, promoters, and industry professionals from over 50 countries. Founded in 2007 by Pete Tong, Ben Turner, Danny Whittle, and Mark Netto, IMS has become a cornerstone event in the dance music calendar. Held annually in Ibiza, the summit returns from April 23rd to 25th, 2025, at Mondrian and Hyde in Cala Llonga, with this year's theme—'Intergenerational Exchange'—aiming to bridge the gap between generations in electronic music.
