"We regret to inform you that the Ye Live In Korea concert, originally scheduled for Saturday, 31 May 2025, has been cancelled due to recent controversies involving the artist Kanye West (Ye). We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause. We kindly ask for your understanding." Neither outlet explained which controversies were being referred to, however, they did clarify that all the tickets sold for the single gig, which was to be held at Incheon's Munhak Stadium, would be refunded.

SEOUL, South Korea — South Korean e-commerce company Coupang has canceled a Kanye West concert scheduled for late May 'due to recent controversies involving the artist,' the company and a ticket vendor said Monday. Coupang and the Interpark ticket outlet did not elaborate on the controversies involving West, who is now known as Ye. The U.S. rapper's latest controversy involves a song released this month entitled 'Heil Hitler,' which praises the Nazi leader and architect of the Holocaust. The sportswear company Adidas ended its shoe collaboration with West in October 2022 over a series of antisemitic rants and sold the last pair of his Yeezy branded shoes in March. Coupang and Interpark said all the tickets that had been sold for the single show in Incheon on May 31 would be fully refunded. Coupang, whose streaming service, Coupang Play, was organizing the concert, also suspended the sale of merchandise by West's Yeezy fashion line on Monday, it said.

Although streaming platforms such as Spotify and SoundCloud have removed the clip, it continues to be streamed on American billionaire Elon Musk's X platform and has been viewed more than 10 million times as of May 20. Global sportswear company Adidas, which ended its shoe collaboration with West in October 2022 over a series of anti-Semitic rants, sold the last pair of Yeezys in Mar ch. The album, titled WW3, was leaked immediately after someone else leaked a track list of another of his album - Cuck - on YouTube.
