Nellore: As part of initiative in providing employment to the family members of farmers who sacrificed their land for establishment unit in Kandukur, Indosol Solar PVT limited has organised Employment Offer Distribution Ceremony (EODC) at Chevuru village of Kandukur mandal on Wednesday. The ceremony was graced by the distinguished presence of Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao, Nellore District Collector O Anand, Kandukur Sub Collector Damera Himavamsi Indosol Solar's vision of combining industrial progress with community empowerment. Indosol Solar is committed to offering direct employment to all eligible land-sellers, while also prioritizing the recruitment of skilled and semi-skilled candidates from nearby villages. Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is moving forward with a specific plan to achieve Swarnandhra (Golden Andhra) by 2047, ensuring balanced industrial growth, massive investments, and sustainable opportunities for the youth across Prakasam district. Nellore Collector Anand stated, 'The government is ready to train unemployed youth to create more job opportunities.' He added that the establishment of companies like Indosol and BPCL will generate a large number of jobs for locals, and the government will extend training and employment opportunities based on qualifications. Indosol Solar's Chief Operating Officer Dr Balachander Krishnan said that Indosol Solar will ensure the growth as meaningful only when it uplifts the communities around us. He announced that local youth can apply for jobs by submitting their applications at the company office or via email. The Skill Development Corporation will provide training based on the candidates' qualifications, with programs starting from September month. TDP leaders and local farmers were present.

Ltd. offered employment certificates to 68 local youth at their project in Ramayapatnam on Wednesday (August 20), in the presence of Kandukur MLA Inturi Nageswara Rao, Nellore Collector O. Anand and Sub-Collector D. Hima Vamshee The solar module manufacturing company has earlier announced a landmark initiative to generate around 33,000 direct employment opportunities for land contributors and local youth. Speaking on the occasion, the company's chief operating officer Balachander Krishnan said: 'At Indosol Solar, we see our growth as meaningful only when it uplifts the communities around us. This initiative is our commitment to sharing the prosperity of development with land contributors and locals.' This initiative is part of Indosol Solar's broader mission to foster green employment, regional development, and ESG-driven growth in alignment with the nation's renewable energy goals and Atmanirbhar Bharat. Collector Anand said: 'Companies like Indosol and BPCL will generate a large number of jobs for locals, and the government will extend training and employment opportunities based on qualifications.' The Kandukur MLA said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is moving forward with a vision to achieve Swarnandhra (Golden Andhra) by 2047, ensuring balanced industrial growth, massive investments, and sustainable opportunities for the youth across Nellore and Prakasam districts. Sub-Collector Himavamsi said port-based industries are the drivers of development, citing cities like Mumbai and Chennai as examples, and encouraged local youth to seize the excellent opportunity to work close to their homes. In a call for applications, the company's HR representatives announced that local youth can apply for jobs by submitting their applications at the company office or via email. The Skill Development Corporation will provide training based on the candidates' qualifications, with programmes starting on September 1 and focusing on professional skills for four hours a day.

TIRUPATI: Nellore MP Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy inaugurated five mineral water plants at fluoride affected villages in Kandukur and Kovur assembly constituencies of Nellore district on Saturday. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The five water plants were established by the Nellore MP's VPR foundation under the 'Amruthadhara' initiative. While two mineral water plants were inaugurated in the Kandukur assembly segment at the ZP high school at Lingasamudram mandal headquarters and at Karedu village at Ulavapadu mandal, three more mineral water plants were inaugurated at Munulapudi in Buchireddipalem mandal, at Kodavaluru and at Utukuru Pallipalem in Vidavaluru mandal of the Kovur assembly constituency. Nellore MP told reporters that the VPR foundation established by him even before he ventured into politics, was actively involved in establishing drinking water plants in the fluoride affected villages across Nellore district. 'The VPR foundation has so far established 175 drinking water plants across the district and the annual maintenance costs are also met by the foundation only. We are in the process of establishing ten more drinking water plants across the Kandukur assembly constituency soon', Nellore MP added. Kandukur TDP legislator Inturi Nageswara Rao and Kovur MLA Vemireddy Prashanti Reddy took part.
