Burlington man charged with sexual exploitation of minor

BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — A Burlington man has been arrested and charged with exploitation, according to the Invictus Task Force. In May 2025, members of the Invictus Task Force initiated an investigation related to multiple cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. During the investigation, Raymond Peter Grzyb, 44, of Burlington, was identified as a suspect. On Tuesday, Grzyb was arrested and charged with five counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center and given a $500,000 secure bond. The investigation is ongoing. The Invictus Task Force is a joint effort of Randolph, Alamance, Davidson and Forsyth Counties, the State Bureau of Investigation, and Homeland Security in the fight against internet crimes against children (ICAC), sexual abuse, trafficking and the exploitation of children using a collaboration of resources as a force multiplier. ALAMANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WGHP) — An Alamance County man is facing exploitation charges after an investigation by the Invictus Task Force, the organization reports. According to a press release, in November 2024, the ITF began an investigation stemming from a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and identified Jenaro Martinez as a suspect. On Friday, Jenaro Martinez, 42, of Mebane, was taken into custody and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He will appear in court on Monday. Court documents said Lucas Timothy Hunt, 25, of Asheboro, received a video of a female minor engaged in sexual activity. Investigators identified Hunt as a suspect. Hunt is a board member of Thank You Jesus Mission and. Constance 'Connie' Frazier, the president of the Thank You Jesus Mission, provided FOX8 with the following statement: 'Thank You Jesus has always been about more than one person, it's about people who love Jesus and want to show their appreciation. Although we cannot comment on the criminal charges against Lucas Hunt, we can share that he blessed thousands of people through the Thank You Jesus Signs.' Constance Frazier Frazier says the board is meeting soon to discuss Hunt's future on the board. On Tuesday, Hunt was taken into custody and charged with one count of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Hunt was taken to the Randolph County Detention Center and issued a $75,000 secure bond. He was released on bond on Tuesday. During a Tuesday court appearance, he told the judge he understood the charges and that he plans to hire an attorney. FOX8 spoke with him briefly afterward, but he did not want to answer any questions. Hunt is expected back in court on March 19. He is involved in the Civil Air Patrol, which released the following statement on Wednesday: Civil Air Patrol is aware of the arrest of one of its volunteer members for the alleged second-degree exploitation of a minor. The alleged actions do not represent Civil Air Patrol and are inconsistent with our core values, and the safety and protection of our cadets is our top priority. Upon learning of the arrest, the member was immediately suspended following standard procedures while the incident is being investigated by law enforcement authorities. At this time, it is our understanding that the arrest was not based on the member's Civil Air Patrol involvement.
