ARMED cops with 'stun grenades' yesterday stormed a Scots flat as shocked locals watched on.
Officers descended on the property on Sophia Crescent in Irvine, North Ayrshire, at around 4.25 pm on Saturday following reports of a concern for a person.

Scores of fire engines, police cars and ambulances were spotted at the scene directly opposite Irvine Royal Academy.
Stunned passersby shared footage on social media which shows half a dozen armed officers climbing through the windows of the property from its veranda.
Police appeared to use 'stun grenades' as loud bangs and flashes of light were seen coming from within the home.
The area was sealed off with blue tape as several other gun cops manned the outside.
Hordes of locals gathered to watch the drama unfold.
A 20-year-old man was later taken to hospital for treatment.
He was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 4.25pm on Saturday 26 April, 2025, we received a report of a concern for a person at a property in Sophia Crescent, Irvine.
'A 20-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
'He was subsequently arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.'
