UD forward Isaac Jack joins Malachi Smith in transfer portal

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Just hours after Flyers' point guard Malachi Smith entered the transfer portal Monday afternoon, UD men's basketball forward Isaac Jack followed suit. That marks two Dayton players thus far to enter the portal in its first day open. The 6-foot-11 big-man appeared in 21 games this season for Dayton and averaged 3.2 points and 2.0 rebounds. The Buffalo transfer played in all 33 games as a sophomore during the 2023-24 season for the Flyers and was named the 2024 winner of UD's Dr. George Rau Spirit Award. Jack becomes the second UD player to enter the transfer portal this off-season and 20th overall in Anthony Grant's tenure to transfer out. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved.
