Three of the deceased belonged to the same family. They were part of a 13-member group of Kanwariyas from Banjara Ka Pura in Simaria Panchayat. The group had collected water from a waterfall near the Shiv temple in Bhadavna and was walking back to their village, a few kms from the accident site, to perform the Jalabhishek ritual on Wednesday when the incident took place.
