Reddit rolls out AI ad tools to turn user conversations into marketing insights
Reddit has launched new artificial intelligence (AI) advertising tools designed to help brands engage more effectively with the platform's vast user discussions. The announcement came during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as Reddit marked its 20th anniversary. The company revealed that its new AI engine, called Reddit Community Intelligence, will transform years of user-generated content into useful insights for marketers. The new AI-powered tools are still in early testing stages and include Reddit Insights and Conversation Summary Add-Ons, according to the company. Both tools aim to harness the collective intelligence from Reddit's billions of posts and comments to offer marketers data-driven ways to improve their campaigns. Also read: A gamer's guide to high-performance laptops Reddit Insights functions as a social listening platform, which gives advertisers access to key metrics and analysis drawn from two decades of conversations on the site. It provides a dashboard where marketers can explore topics, track trends, and review popular posts within relevant subreddits. This tool will also help brands assess consumer perceptions and monitor cultural shifts that affect purchasing decisions. According to Reddit, Publicis Media used the tool to refine creative ideas, conduct competitive research, gather user feedback, and identify emerging trends. Furthermore, the second tool, Conversation Summary Add-Ons, enhances ads by displaying positive user comments about the brand or product directly beneath the advertisement. An AI-generated summary of these comments accompanies the display to provide what Reddit calls 'social proof.' This feature aims to boost consumer confidence and speed up decision-making. Early adopters of this feature include game developer Jackbox Games and the US electric vehicle company Lucid.

Reddit will help advertisers turn ‘positive' posts into ads
Reddit is launching a new feature for advertisers that slots positive posts from Reddit users right under their ads. The new alpha feature, called Conversation Summary Add-ons, 'dynamically integrates positive content from Reddit users directly below an advertiser's creative, putting community conversations front-and-center in the user experience and blending AI-driven efficiency with real human perspectives,' according to a post from Reddit. As shown by Reddit, you'll be able to scroll through the posts that appear under an ad. You'll also see a short summary of what Reddit users are saying about the advertiser. Jackbox Games and Lucid are alpha testers of the feature. Powering this new feature is an 'engine' Reddit calls Reddit Community Intelligence. According to the company, Reddit Community Intelligence can turn the platform's more than 22 billion posts and comments 'into structured intelligence for smarter marketing decisions.' As part of today's announcements, which Reddit is making alongside the Cannes Lions festival, the company is also introducing a 'scalable, AI-powered social listening tool' called Reddit Insights. 'Informed by proprietary metadata, it provides precise, real-time insights that help marketers confidently plan campaigns, validate creative ideas, and make smarter business decisions,' Reddit says.

Jackbox Reveals ‘Party Pack 11,' ‘Trivia Murder Party 3' For Fall 2025
After a well-deserved year off — even if it still released Survey Scramble, the Naughty Pack, and The Jackbox Megapicker — Jackbox Games is back to its old tricks with two massive announcements during its first-ever studio Direct. The Jackbox Party Pack 11 is finally coming, as is a standalone Trivia Murder Party 3. Launching in fall 2025, The Jackbox Party Pack 11 will introduce five brand-new, original games, though the names and gory details of each one are still under wraps. The five promise to offer: 'We took a break last year from the Party Pack franchise in order to innovate and deliver some long-requested products for fans, including The Jackbox Megapicker,' said Jackbox Games CEO Mike Bilder, who said he believes the latest JPP outing will take the experience 'to another level.' And then we have Trivia Murder Party 3, the inevitable sequel to what's easily the favorite Jackbox title among me and my friends, and the out-and-out best pick for a standalone Jackbox game. After its first two titles were spent cooped up in a horror hotel, TMP3 goes full Friday the 13th and/or the incredible Sleepaway Camp by placing the experience in a summer camp, adding online matchmaking to its classic local room code play. Bilder said that Trivia Murder Party 3, which will launch in Early Access on Steam and Epic, is a purposeful decision in order to 'actively engage with our community and enhance the features they enjoy most.' Once the kinks are worked out, TMP3 will get a full platform release set for 2026. Meanwhile, Jackbox Party Pack 11 will launch on Steam, Xbox, Switch, PlayStation, Epic, Apple TV, iPad, Mac App Store, and Amazon Fire TV in the fall, for $29.99; it'll also be playable through the recently revealed Jackbox Games channel subscription on Amazon Luna, which also offers a free ad-supported version.
