Jackie 'O' Henderson reveals the REAL reason why men cheat on their wives

Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed that she now understands why happily married men cheat on their wives. The 50-year-old said she was brainstorming with a friend over the weekend about male infidelity when she cooked up her solution, which she called The Hot Chip Theory. 'You know when a man cheats and he's in a really loving relationship and he really loves his wife and he's presented with an opportunity?' she said during KIIS FM's Kylie and Jackie O Show on Monday. She continued that in those circumstances 'women really struggle' with their partners who stray. 'We can't tap into [men's minds] when [they] say "it meant nothing,"' she said. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'And we go "but it does mean something", there's that polarity between us.' She then explained her theory: 'I believe it's like a hot chip vs a hot chick.' 'If you're a woman and you're on a diet and you've just been like eating chicken and vegetables and someone puts a plate of hot chips in front of you its almost physically impossible for you to not eat the hot chips,' she explained. Jackie said that was a 'big temptation' but women feel guilty about eating the hot chips. 'So what you're saying is that the nicest, most loving guy, when presented with a hot chick, he will stray,' added co-host Kyle Sandilands. 'Yes!' agreed Jackie. It comes after Jackie shocked listeners – and her longtime co-host Kyle Sandilands – by revealing her potential plans to walk away from radio and move overseas once her 10-year ARN contract wraps up. She made the surprising admission live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show last week revealing she intends to spend half the year living in Italy after her $10m a year contract ends. Kyle and Jackie signed a record-breaking $200 million deal with ARN in late 2023, locking them in for another 10 years. But despite nine years still remaining, the popular radio host already has her sights set on the next chapter. 'That's my plan – at the end of the 10 years to go to Italy and live there for six months every year,' Jackie told listeners. The comment appeared to catch Kyle off guard, who had just finished telling Jackie about his own dream of retiring in a 'French chateau'. 'So what you're saying is, after this 10-year deal's up, that's it for you?' he asked in disbelief.

Jackie ‘O Henderson reveals plans to quit The Kyle & Jackie Show amid ratings woes

Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed plans to quit The Kyle and Jackie O Show. Henderson famously signed a 10-year deal with ARN in 2023 which was reportedly worth a whipping $200m. And now it seems Henderson plans to use the hefty sum to allow her to retire the moment her deal runs out in 2034. The 50-year-old presenter made the surprising confession during the latest episode of the pair's show, which has recently suffered from some ratings woes. 'That's my plan – at the end of the 10 years to go to Italy and live there for six months every year,' she said. 'So what you're saying is, after this 10-year deal's up, that's it for you?' he asked. 'Yep,' she replied, prompting stunned silence in the studio. 'Forget a dream... The shock here is I've got nine years left with her – that's it,' replied Sandilands. Henderson then teased: 'Nine years is a long time,' to which Sandilands joked: 'I plan to die on air.' The Sydney radio duo signed their blockbuster contracts live on-air in 2023, telling listeners that they had extended their contract with ARN for another decade. The landmark deal also saw their show broadcast in Melbourne for the first time. A source close to the negotiations told the contract 'is worth more than $200 million and includes a base salary, shares, sign on bonuses, revenue share and ratings bonuses'. Sandilands also has a clause that gives him the ability to broadcast the show from 'anywhere on the earth' at the drop of a hat. The groundbreaking deal means Sandilands and Henderson will each earn $10 million per year, which is double their former salary of around $5 million per year. Meanwhile, it comes after Henderson revealed just how her addiction to pain medication started, citing a condition that impacts thousands of Australian women. Last year, the 50-year-old media personality revealed that she had been secretly battling an addiction to pain killers, sleeping pills and alcohol. She'd since been to rehab and is now in recovery. The addiction started following her marriage breakdown with photographer Lee Henderson in 2018. The former couple share one daughter, 14-year-old Kitty. During Thursday's show, the mother-of-one shed more light on the reason behind her addiction. 'I got addicted because I was prescribed endone,' she said, revealing that, while later on she was using 'dodgy' means to get her hands on the pills, it started off with 'true pain'. 'I was going to the hospital every month with my endometriosis. It just got so out of control, I had to go to the hospital to get morphine and so they prescribed the endone to manage that.'

Jackie 'O' Henderson reveals shock plan to QUIT popular radio show - after signing 10-year deal

Jackie 'O' Henderson has shocked listeners – and her longtime co-host Kyle Sandilands – by revealing her potential plans to walk away from radio and move overseas once her 10-year ARN contract wraps up. The 50-year-old presenter made the shock admission live on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this week, revealing she intends to spend half the year living in Italy after her $10m a year contract ends. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The comment appeared to catch Kyle off guard, who had just finished telling Jackie about his own dream of retiring in a 'French chateau'. 'So what you're saying is, after this 10-year deal's up, that's it for you?' he asked in disbelief. 'Yep,' Jackie replied simply, prompting stunned silence in the studio. Newsreader Brooklyn Ross attempted to quiz Jackie on how long she'd been planning the move, but Kyle quickly shut it down. 'Forget a dream... The shock here is I've got nine years left with her – that's it,' Kyle joked. Jackie laughed off her co-host's reaction, telling him: 'Nine years is a long time,' to which Kyle cheekily responded, 'I plan to die on air.' Kyle and Jackie O signed a record-breaking $200 million deal with Australian Radio Network (ARN) in November 2023 that would see them remain on airwaves until 2034 - earning a whopping salary of $10m each per year. In January, the duo opened up about what their extensive contracts stated would happen to the show if one of them were to die. Jackie and co-host Kyle Sandilands signed a record-breaking $200 million deal with ARN in late 2023, locking them in for another 10 years 'I've got a whole page in there about what happens if you die,' Jackie told Kyle. 'Oh yes, I've got that as well. Actually, I've had that for quite a few years. And I think you only just put that in yours this year,' her co-host confessed. 'Wait. Why was I in yours? Was I more likely to die?' Jackie exclaimed. Kyle reassured her the death clause is something the lawyers came up with years ago, but that the new deal was a chance for Jackie to add her own individual stipulations. 'They [lawyers] rang me when they were doing this new deal and said "Jackie wants this [death] clause",' he said. 'I said, "well, she should get that." I've had that for years.' As part of Jackie's contract, the host specified she wanted the option to leave the show if Kyle passed away. The KIIS FM co-hosts both started their radio careers early, but didn't really 'make it' until they were randomly paired up together to host Austereo's national Hot30 Countdown in the year 2000. Since then, the on-air powerhouse have gone from strength to strength and received a host of industry awards and consistently top ratings across Sydney.

‘What a lunatic': Jackie O admits to controversial bathroom act

Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed she's very much guilty of 'bathroom camping', a phenomenon Gen Z is obsessed with. You might think going to the bathroom at a social event, lingering in the toilet and doing some doom scrolling on your phone doesn't have a name, but you'd be wrong. Gen Z loves to come up with names for everything, and in 2025, that is now called 'bathroom camping'. To be clear bathroom camping can also be something you do in your own home for comfort or if you're just desperate for privacy. Henderson explained on The Kylie and Jackie O Show that she does get 'overwhelmed' at social functions and takes solace in the loo. 'It becomes – when there's too many people I don't know, I get a bit overwhelmed,' she explained. The radio star's co-host, Sandilands, seemed genuinely puzzled by the idea of hanging out in a bathroom. 'So what? Are you worried about them looking at you?' he asked. 'No. It is a brain drain, like sometimes it becomes very draining for me,' she explained. That didn't seem to clear up any confusion for Sandilands who continued to pepper her with questions. 'So you can't handle being around normal people?' he asked. 'I can't handle being around a large group of people where I have to small talk a lot. I hate that,' she explained. 'So that becomes a brain drain. And so what I do is I go to the bathroom and I just sit there and have time out, and I just chill.' Sandilands remained baffled. 'What fun! You'd never forget to invite Jackie to a party,' he joked. Henderson kept trying to explain, saying sometimes in social situations she just needs 'alone time' for a little recharge, but Sandilands remained dubious. 'What a lunatic,' he mused. 'I thought that too. I thought I was a lunatic, but apparently this is quite the thing,' she argued. 'It now got a name for it. People do this. I'm not alone. It's called bathroom camping.' Henderson's not wrong it certainly is a very big thing. The phrase 'bathroom camping' has garnered over 10 million views on TikTok. People online are also divided on the act with a lot of people arguing it is 'rude' to do when you're out in public. 'Bathroom camping in public is crazy and inconsiderate,' one noted. 'I'm embarrassed by how selfish people from my generation are,' another said. 'Bathroom camping outside your house is so rude if there's one bathroom,' someone mused. On the other hand, others argue that it is perfectly okay to take time for yourself when you need to. 'Such a relatable concept! Sometimes, we all need a little escape to recharge and gather our thought,' one argued. 'It is one place we don't get bothered,' someone else pointed out. 'I used to lie on the bathroom floor for hours. It felt so peaceful and calming for some odd reasons,' another shared. 'People think I'm crazy but I swear any bathroom is my safe space,' someone else noted.

Jackie O reveals what sparked her addiction to painkillers

A popular radio personality has revealed just how her addiction to pain medication started, citing a condition that impacts thousands of Australian women. A man in his 30s called into the Kyle and Jackie O show to speak with Dr Sam Hay, the network's go-to physician, to ask for advice on how to manage his hip pain before he had replacement surgery. After getting the man off the phone, Jackie 'O' Henderson asked if Dr Hay would prescribe the caller pain killers. Co-host Kyle Sandilands then asked Henderson what her 'go to' painkiller of choice was. It just got so out of control, I had to go to the hospital to get morphine and so they prescribed the endone to manage that.' She said when she received the prescription it did come with a warning — doctors said it was 'so addictive' and to 'be careful'. Jackie O said she was proof that this was true. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to that which normally lines the uterus grows in other parts of the body, usually the pelvic region. It is a chronic condition and, while there are treatments available to help patients manage the disease, there is currently no cure. The disease can manifest in different ways for different people, but common symptoms include extremely painful periods, bloating, back and leg pain, infertility, excessive bleeding, pain during sex, depression and anxiety. As part of the About Bloody Time campaign, surveyed more than 1700 people who suffer from endometriosis to gather insights into how it affects their lives. Of those surveyed, just under 90 per cent reported suffering from painful periods, the next most common symptoms were bloating, back pain and fatigue. Even the lowest reported symptom, infertility, was experienced by 40 per cent of respondents. These are just some of the long list of symptoms endometriosis sufferers can face, which highlights the complexity of the illness. Dr Hay said doctors often found themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place when it came to stronger pain relief medications. 'No one deserves to live in pain. People need to be comfortable and if they're in pain they don't look after the rest of their health,' he said. 'So yes, we do have to escalate through the options but we need to look at why they're in pain and if it's working.' But he said sometimes, that can lead to addiction. Last year Henderson revealed she was taking a large portion of pills, combined with alcohol, in an effort to relieve stress. Despite their close relationship on-air, Henderson admitted to having kept Sandilands in the dark about her personal battle. She said she didn't want to tell anyone until at least a year of sobriety, having also kept her battle from her extended family and close friends. 'I was in a really, really dark place,' she admitted. 'That's what the addiction to your brain, it changes your way of thinking, it doesn't want you to get help, it's so powerful.'
