Cyclist taken to hospital after being struck by vehicle near High Park
Police are on the scene of a collision that injured a cyclist near High Park on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. (Jacob Estrin/CTV News) A cyclist was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle near High Park Wednesday night. Toronto police say a call for a collision near The Queensway and Colborne Lodge Drive came in shortly before 8 p.m. The cyclist, a 19-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the driver remained at the scene. The circumstances that led to the collision are unknown.

2 suspects sought in ‘violent assault' at Wet'n'Wild in Brampton
Two people wanted in connection with an assault at Wet'n'Wild. (Peel police handout) Peel police are searching for two suspects in connection with an assault at a waterpark in Brampton last week that began as a dispute while in line for a slide. Officers were called to Wet'n'Wild on the evening of July 23 for an altercation involving multiple individuals. Investigators learned that there was a verbal dispute between multiple people waiting in line for a waterslide, which escalated into a 'violent assault' of a woman by two individuals, police said. 'The altercation continued toward a retail shop in the park area, where the suspects allegedly used store merchandise as weapons before fleeing the area,' police said in a news release on Tuesday. (Jacob Estrin/CTV News) The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have released photos of the two wanted suspects, a Black man and woman in their early 30s. The man has a slim build, shoulder-length black dreadlocks, a low black beard and brown eyes. Police said he has notable tattoos, including a lion on the left side of his chest and others on his right forearm and triceps. Meanwhile, the woman is described as five-foot-six with a medium build, black Afro-style hair and brown eyes. Suspect arrested after man stabbed in Stockyards District

Toronto police say they got a call about someone stabbed in the area of Weston Road and Birdstone Crescent, north of St. Clair Avenue West, just before noon. 1 suspect sought following large fight at Wet'n'Wild in Brampton

(Jacob Estrin/CTV News) Peel police are searching for one suspect after a fight at a water park in Brampton that left one person injured Wednesday night. Police said they got a call just before 6:30 p.m. for a large group of people fighting near the front entrance of Wet'n'Wild, located in the area of Finch Avenue and Kenview Boulevard, south of Steeles Avenue East. When officers arrived, the fight dispersed, police said. Shortly after, officers located one person with an injury. There is no immediate word on the extent of the victim's injury, but police said the person was conscious and breathing. As for the suspect, no description has been released. The circumstances that led to the fight are unknown.

Shooting in downtown Brampton sends one man to hospital
