India's Only Honda Accord Convertible Is A Head-Turner Born In Jaipur: Video
Owning a convertible car is a dream of every car enthusiast. A convertible car not only gives an open-air vibe but also defines the class and free spirit of the owner. However, due to its high price, it fails to become a middle-class asset. However, we came across a video that shows a Honda Accord transformed into a convertible car, giving the car a luxury modification. The video has been shared by the Jaipur Jeep Lovers official YouTube channel. As the video starts, the channel's host, Prateek Nagpal, mentions that they have recently completed their project of converting the Honda Accord into a convertible version. Starting from the front, the modified Accord carries a blacked-out grille at the front with a Brabus logo in the centre and has a body kit as well. On the rear end, the Honda Accord convertible gets a new bumper design. Also, explaining further, Prateek mentions that they have fixed two exhaust ports on the rear; meanwhile, only one of them is functional. The unique convertible borrows its chrome-finished ORVMs from the Maruti Suzuki Swift, because the Accord's ORVMs are quite expensive. On the inside, the Honda Accord convertible flaunts red colored ambient lighting tan colored leatherette upholstery. Modified Honda Accord Talking about the specs, the host mentions that the convertible modifications host the same engine offered by the Honda Accord, which is a 2350cc petrol engine. The engine has not been tweaked, but the catalytic converter has been benched for a performance boost, and it delivers about 178 bhp and 222 Nm. Later in the video, we see the host rolling out his Honda Accord convertible project on the road for some crazy public reactions. Meanwhile, as it turned dark, Prateek also gave us a glimpse of the ambient lighting of the car that gives it a premium look on the inside.

India's Only G-Wagen Limousine Is Actually Modified Mahindra Scorpio? What We Know
A Mahindra Scorpio has been turned into a G-Wagen-style limousine in India, complete with luxury interiors and a show-stopping look. Limousines have never really become a common sight in India, but that hasn't stopped car enthusiasts from building their own. Over the years, people have stretched everything from Maruti 800s to Volkswagen Jettas into limo versions. The latest attention-grabber is a custom-made Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen limousine, which is a heavily modified Mahindra Scorpio underneath. This unique creation was featured in a video by the YouTube channel Jaipur Jeep Lovers. From a distance, it looks like a luxurious G-Wagen limo, but it is not what it seems. The base car is a 2012 Mahindra Scorpio, which has been redesigned from the ground up to look like a G-Wagen. The builder refers to it as a 'kit car," meaning it has been given a new outer body designed and built entirely by the garage. From the front, the Scorpio has been completely transformed. It now wears a G-Wagen-style hood, round headlights, a boxy grille, and signal lights placed on the bonnet, just like the real thing. To top it off, LED lights are added inside the grille, and the front bumper is now made of metal, mimicking the original G-Class bumper. On the sides, the vehicle sports big glass panels and long side skirts, adding to the limo vibe. Though the video doesn't mention its exact length, it is clear that the car is very long. At the rear, the changes are minimal but still resemble the G-Wagen, with a spare wheel cover and bumper-mounted tail lights. Inside, the limo is made to impress. It features a stylish lounge space, complete with black and white leather seats, multiple AC vents, party lights, a television, and a sound system. Everything in the cabin has been custom-built, making it perfect for events and celebrations. In fact, the limo is shown in the video decorated with rose petals and being used in a procession, making it clear that it is meant more for show than regular use. Want to Rent It? You Can! This Scorpio-turned-G-Wagen limo is available for rent. The video mentions that it can be hired for weddings, birthdays, or other special events. People from anywhere in India can book the car by using the phone numbers shown in the video. However, the exact rental charges aren't mentioned. Since it is so long and wide, driving this limo isn't a cakewalk. On the road, it moves like a mini-bus and stands out instantly. The host in the video also says that the car will soon get actual Mercedes wheels. At the moment, it has golden-coloured alloy wheels, which don't quite match the rest of its design. Legal Trouble Ahead? Now comes the serious part. Is this kind of car modification legal in India? Sadly, the answer is no. In India, even basic cosmetic changes to vehicles are not allowed under motor laws, as per the Cartoq. This kind of limo conversion involves major structural changes, which can compromise the safety and integrity of the vehicle. As a result, such cars can be seized by the Regional Transport Office (RTO) without warning. Interestingly, the owner of this vehicle originally converted the Scorpio into a limousine back in 2012 at a cost of about Rs 40 lakh, Cartoq states. The G-Wagen-style kit and its installation came much later and cost an additional Rs 3.5 lakh. While it may look amazing and turn heads at every corner, the legality of such modifications remains a big issue in India.
