EXCLUSIVE The Logies invite list that's tearing the MAFS cast apart: Who will walk the red carpet and who has been snubbed REVEALED
This year's Married At First Sight cast are in a frenzy of panic ahead of the 2025 Logie Awards, after learning that only a small handful of them will be invited to attend the glittering ceremony. Set to take place on August 4 in Sydney, the event will once again be hosted by Channel Seven, leaving some Channel Nine stars sweating over their invite status. Daily Mail Australia can reveal that only a few of this year's breakout stars have made the cut, despite MAFS 2025 scoring strong ratings and widespread attention. Those tipped to attend include Jamie Marinos, Awhina Rutene, Rhi Disljenkovic, Jeff Gobbels, Tony Mojanovski, Ryan Donnelly, Carina Mirabile, Eliot Donovan, Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias. All ten stars have remained in good standing with Nine and have been spotted at recent promotional events, making them the obvious choices to represent the show and network. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Should Channel Nine be feeling generous Katie Johnston and Ashleigh Ackerman will also be considered. Meanwhile, relationship experts John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla will once again attend the awards to officially represent the series, while Mel Schilling has been invited but is yet to confirm her appearance. Insiders say the decision to limit the guest list has caused serious tension within the cast. 'Everyone's panicking and desperate to go,' one source told Daily Mail Australia. 'Some of them acted like saints during filming thinking it would secure them a Logies invite – now they're hearing they didn't make the cut and they're furious.' Those who've been left off the invite list include Morena Farina, Lauren Hall and Sierah Swepstone. Despite still being together, Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice won't be receiving an invite following their controversial stint on the show. Perth groom Paul Antoine, Tim Gromie, Adrian Araouzou and Veronica Cloherty also didn't make the list. 'There's already drama bubbling behind the scenes,' the insider continued. 'People are reaching out to stylists, PRs and brands trying to bluff their way in - but it's not happening.' The snubbing of certain cast members is a sharp reminder of last year's backlash, when only past participants Evelyn Ellis, Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant were invited to the 2024 ceremony - with the rest of the MAFS cast allegedly being blacklisted by producers for proving 'too difficult' post-show. This year, it's clear that behaviour and ongoing cooperation with the network have played a major role in who made the cut. 'It's a reward system. If you've stayed on good terms with Nine, played ball, and showed up to events – you're in. If you've caused headaches or gone rogue, you're out.' With the Logies just weeks away, the cast are still anxiously waiting for final confirmations – but insiders say the current list is unlikely to change. It comes as comedian Sam Pang was confirmed to be returning as host for the third time in three years. Sam's cheeky and irreverent comedy as host last year and in 2023 proved to be a big hit with audiences and TV's A-list as well as a major ratings winner for Seven.

Married At First Sight star Jamie Marinos leaves Abbie Chatfield horrified as she reveals relationship with a 'meth head'
Married at First Sight star Jamie Marinos has revealed the shocking way she found out a man she once dated dating for a year was a meth addict. Jamie, 28, had It's A Lot podcast host Abbie Chatfield gasping for air as she shared her 'nightmare fuel' dating story on Friday. The bubbly blonde, who was matched with groom Dave Hand on the experiment, met her now-ex on Tinder in 2022. She described her on-and-off relationship with the 'gorgeous' and 'heavily tattooed' Melbourne DJ — who would routinely disappear before reeling her back in — as a 'toxic cycle that [she] couldn't break'. The season 12 fan favourite bride had been single for five years before she moved to Melbourne from her native South Australia. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I was in a new city and this was really exciting so I did what any woman would do and I go on Tinder,' she told Abbie. 'Obviously, I met some really horrific men in this process and then got what felt like a good match.' 'It was one of those things we were really hyper-affectionate off the bat. We were bantering non-stop and I didn't want to stop speaking to him. It was hard and fast,' Jamie continued. 'He had a robust vocabulary and that's very attractive to me. I thought, "He's not a complete dud this is amazing." 'He's a DJ and worked in sales. I love a bit of a party boy. This is my problem, the party boys are not it.' Jamie had started seeing the DJ and had met him a couple of times 'when the first ghost happened'. Ghosting is the common online dating practice of ending a personal relationship with by suddenly, and without explanation, withdrawing from all communication. They had made plans to meet up before he abruptly stopped responding to her messages. 'That was kind of the trend for the next year,' Jamie revealed to Abbie's dismay. 'This man had me in a chokehold.' Jamie explained the DJ would 'love bomb' her and 'blow up [her] phone' – only to 'ghost' her out of the blue. He would then resume contact after a few weeks, or months, of silence, as if nothing had happened. Jamie told Abbie she believes her ex's unattainability is what kept her coming back for more. 'It made it like a challenge for me. It was the most toxic situation. We'd get into arguments. He'd say I wasn't putting enough effort in. It was such a bamboozle,' she said. 'But he was someone that, even if went silent for a couple months, I knew he'd come back.' By the end of 2023, Jamie had been seeing the DJ on-and-off for an entire year when she got the 'rare' opportunity to catch him in person. She and her sister were both working at the same nightclub when he sent her a message, inviting them to his friend's house. 'He was calling my phone and shared the address, and was harassing me about when I was coming,' Jamie said. They arrived at the friend's house, had one drink, and after about 10 minutes, her ex said he had to go out 'for an errand'. Her ex's friend then invited them to watch the White Chicks movie with him while they waited. The movie finished and Jamie's ex still hadn't come back. When he did eventually return, he went straight up to his bedroom, without saying a word, and shut the door. 'The friend said: "He gets a bit like that. He smokes meth",' Jamie recalled. 'So I found out I was in a situationship with a meth head. 'And then I brought this information to other people that knew him and everyone knew. Everyone's like, "of course, he is! You didn't know that??" 'He didn't remember things. He'd get moody. The frantic texts. The going missing. No wonder I couldn't make sense of this man, he was on meth the whole time!' 'The extreme ups and downs then made perfect sense to me but I wish anyone would've told me!' Jamie added. She said that she and the DJ remained in touch, strictly as friends, after she learned the truth. Jamie left Abbie on the edgy of her seat with her story and the former Bachelor star admitted she was shocked when she told her about his drug habit rather than the stock standard 'he cheated' tale. 'I thought this is a classic Australian man,' Abbie said in horror. 'We know things are bad in the Australian dating scene when I didn't think that was happening at all. I thought this was a normal story. 'I didn't think it was going to meth, I thought he's got a girlfriend or something.' 'Men in Australia are mirroring the behaviour of meth addicts,' Abbie declared. 'That is not good.' Since leaving the experiment, Jamie has moved into a supervisor role at a nightclub in Melbourne, where she works two days per week to maintain a sense of 'normalcy' amid her newfound fame.

'I was hoping Eliot might propose,' she joked, which prompted fits of giggles from the pair. But the TV groom was more than happy to play along with the jest. 'This will get some clicks,' he joked as he took a knee, reenacting an engagement on the Carriageways' railway tracks. Eliot quipped he was pulling a 'Jacqui and Clint', alluding to Jacqui Burfoot and Clint Rice's engagement at a reunion viewing party last month. The pair then put out rumours they had moved in together, saying they were 'taking things slow' despite the media frenzy around their relationship. However, it has been reported Eliot and Jamie are sharing an Airbnb together while they visit Sydney for Australian Fashion Week. Queenslander Eliot created a video in which he showed off the luxury digs and then appeared to be 'surprised' to find he was not alone in the apartment, discovering Jamie using the bathroom mirror. Jamie also shared a video to her own stories where Eliot pretended to 'discover' her in the kitchen. The blonde bombshell has previously said she and Eliot had simply clicked after their time on the Channel Nine series. She said Eliot had provided support in the weeks following her split with Dave. 'We only started hanging around each other since we both left our marriages, just over a month ago,' she said. 'He's always been a very good friend to me, but he's been a really amazing support system.' While admitting the pair had become close, Jamie stopped short of hard launching any romantic entanglement with Eliot. 'I understand everyone wants an answer but we're in the real world now, so it's not like we're going to be official or announce something tomorrow,' she added. Jamie and Eliot certainly looked every inch the loved-up couple as they packed on the PDA for all to see at Warner Bros. Movie World last month. Eliot spent most of the day with an arm around Jamie's shoulders, holding her hand or gently touching her back. Jamie and Eliot also seemed unable to keep their hands off each other at Daily Mail Australia's recent reunion dinner.

Double Date? MAFS stars Jamie and Eliot pair up with Awhina and Teejay for a night out in Brisbane
It was a bit of a Married at First Sight reunion on Friday, when four stars stepped out together for dinner in Brisbane. In what looked to be a double date, Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan were seen arriving at lively eatery Tama with fellow 2025 castmates Awhina Rutene and Teejay Halkias. While Jamie, 28, and Eliot, 35, have been setting tongues wagging recently over a potential romance, Awhina, 30, and Teejay, 28, also looked very comfortable in each other's company. Awhina put on quite the revealing display, stepping out in a low-cut, chocolate-brown maxi dress that she wore braless. The plunging neckline showed off the reality star's ample cleavage, while a waist-high split in the dress showed off her toned pins. Awhina was lucky not to suffer a wardrobe malfunction at one point, with her red underwear visible as she turned to chat to Teejay. Leaving her locks down for the occasion, Awhina finished her look with a pair of beige peep toe heels. Awhina also flaunted her penchant for luxe accessories, carrying a $3200 Louis Vuitton handbag. The MAFS bride's apparent date for the evening, Teejay, was also not shy about putting on a chesty display. The 28 year old wore a flowing off-white collared shirt, unbuttoned to just above the navel. and exposing his chiselled pecs. He also wore a pair of loose-fitting white drawstring pants with rolled cuffs. Teejay finished his dinner date look with a pair of black leather Dr Martens shoes. While Jamie and Eliot also arrived together they were not arm in arm like their companions. Jamie showed off her lithe legs in a purple-mauve mini dress with a tasselled hem. Finishing her look with a pair of strappy heels, Jamie accessoried with a black handbag with silver chain. Eliot, meanwhile, kept it simple in a plain white T-shirt that he tucked into a pair of beige chinos. Bringing the outfit together with a black leather belt, Eliot also wore a pair of black leather Dr Martens tassel loafers. While Eliot and Teejay may've arrived with Jamie and Awhina, they appeared more interested in each other's company as they entered the restaurant. The grooms were not afraid to ham it up for the camera, attempting to set the rumour mill spinning with a tender, pre-dinner interlude.
