EXCLUSIVE Jamie and Eliot EXPOSE MAFS secrets: Sex confessions, cast feuds, expert apologies - and the real reason they're not putting a label on their relationship... yet
They were the pairing no one saw coming - and now Married At First Sight's Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan have finally revealed the truth behind their whirlwind romance in their first and only joint interview. Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia, the pair lifted the lid on their post-show connection, revealing the flirty friendship that blossomed into something deeper - even if they insist they're not labelling it. 'It just kind of happened,' Jamie admitted. 'We were both single, we were vibing, and the flirting just ramped up.' Eliot added: 'It was a bit of a flirtationship. We were just having fun with the time we had together.' The bond began during filming, but didn't deepen until after the show aired. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Jamie reached out to Eliot after watching his tumultuous return with intruder bride Veronica, asking for his number through groom Adrian Araouzou. 'We had a 45-minute phone call the first time we spoke,' Eliot recalled. 'We haven't stopped talking since.' Jamie said Eliot was a vital support system after her breakup with Dave Hand. 'As much as Eliot can be a pain, he's been incredible,' she said. 'He always had empathy for what I went through. He was one of the few guys who genuinely cared.' Eliot added: 'I just felt a moral duty to have her back. It wasn't about sliding into DMs, I just cared.' While neither confirmed a relationship, both admitted there's chemistry. 'We may or may not have had sex,' Eliot joked. Jamie quipped: 'If I say "yes", Dave's gonna make a TikTok shaming me again.' But the pair are adamant they're not rushing into anything. 'We're in different states, we have a lot happening, and we don't want to lose the friendship,' Eliot said. Jamie added: 'We'd probably clash if we jumped into something now. I just got out of something heavy. This is my time.' Both stars described the jarring shift from filming to anonymity – and then to instant fame once the show aired. 'No one knew who we were at first. Then overnight, you can't go anywhere without getting stopped,' Jamie said. Eliot said he never fully returned to normal life: 'It's like being in limbo – you're waiting for the fallout.' Jamie spoke openly about her struggles with anxiety and the online abuse she feared would come after her failed marriage. 'All I could think was, people are going to say they wouldn't have sex with me either,' she said. 'That humiliation, and knowing people were happy to see me in pain – that was hard.' Despite this, Jamie said public support helped rebuild her confidence. 'People loved me without makeup, being real - it made me feel like myself again.' Eliot went from public enemy to fan favourite. 'At first, I was labelled an "incel". But then TikTok changed everything. My mum texted me saying people at work suddenly loved me.' Jamie revealed that during the reunion, producers privately showed experts the footage of her clash with Carina Mirabile – resulting in all three experts apologising to her. However, the footage was never aired. 'I had a panic attack at the retreat commitment ceremony because they made me feel like I was the bully. But when the experts saw the footage, they admitted they got it wrong. I felt robbed when none of it was shown.' Jamie shared a string of behind-the-scenes antics never shown on air. Her favourite prank? Ding-dong ditching. 'I knocked on almost every door on our floor. I even interrupted Rhi and Jeff having sex – twice!' She also recalled a hilarious moment where Carina accused Sierah Swepstone of stealing her heels at a dinner party, only to find Channel Nine publicity had taken them by mistake. Jamie said she is no longer in contact with Dave, despite once thinking he'd be in her life long term. Eliot confirmed ongoing tension with Billy Belcher: 'He drags everyone's name on every podcast. I wouldn't do that to people I was friends with.' Jamie stood by Adrian during airing and revealed that she's since reconciled with Carina. 'We made peace during our Queensland appearance. I didn't want her to feel isolated.' When rumours first surfaced that Jamie had moved in with Eliot and cancelled a TV opportunity to pursue him, the pair said it was all blown out of proportion. 'That's exactly why we're cautious now,' Jamie said. 'We don't want to pass on major career opportunities based on what-ifs.' Eliot added: 'We're pragmatic. We have a connection, but we don't want to force something that could ruin the friendship.' What they argue about (and how they solve it) Despite their closeness, Jamie and Eliot admit they clash. 'We're both direct communicators,' Eliot said. 'We don't beat around the bush. We just hash it out.' Jamie added: 'We're brutally honest with each other. That's why it works.' Jamie admitted she drifted from some castmates like Awhina due to geography and life changes. 'Fee and I will always have love, but we're on opposite sides of the country now. Life gets in the way.' Eliot and Jamie also took a dig at contestants who play to the cameras. 'Everyone who faked it got exposed,' Jamie said. 'Just be real or you'll get eaten alive.' What's next for Jamie and Eliot? Both said they'd consider future TV gigs – but with conditions. 'I'd host Love Island in a heartbeat,' Jamie said. 'I've got a lot more to say than Sophie Monk.' Eliot added: 'I'd do The Bachelor if it meant I could just have fun with it. Hosting something would be ideal.' They've ruled out jungle duties, though. 'Don't put me in I'm A Celeb,' Jamie said bluntly. Asked what they'd tell the next batch of brides and grooms, Jamie didn't hold back. 'Be yourself. The audience sees through fake. Everyone who tried to curate an image got exposed.' Eliot added: 'Don't DM former castmates asking for advice. Just be authentic - or you'll get eaten alive.' So... are they or aren't they? While they may not be locking in couple status anytime soon, the chemistry is undeniable. 'If we end up together, I'd be happy,' Jamie said. 'But right now, I'm focusing on me.'

Another MAFS star rages at Jetstar for common problem with airline - after Jacqui Burfoot accused cabin crew of stealing her partner's $800 jacket
Former Married at First Sight bride Jamie Marinos has taken to social media to blast Jetstar. The 28-year-old marketing executive posted a selfie video to TikTok to complain about a lengthy delay on a recent Sydney to Melbourne flight. Declaring she was not a fan of the budget airline and preferred Jetstar's competitor Virgin Australia, Jamie complained that the money she saved on her journey 'cost' her time. 'Jetstar is cheaper,' she said during her one-and-a-half-minute rant, comparing the two carriers. 'But what they take from you is your time. And you can't get that back.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Jamie went on to list a set of grievances which appeared to relate to past experiences with the airline, including cancelled flights and frequent delays. She also noted that Jetstar passengers are charged for excess baggage as the carrier insists on a 20-kilogram limit. Filming a selfie in what appears to be Melbourne Airport, Jamie revealed she spent two hours in Sydney past her scheduled departure time. 'On the Sydney website, it said it was 45 minutes late,' she continued. 'They did not message me until five minutes after the original boarding time. 'You're going to gate-keep this information, Jetstar? You ain't going to tell me that I ain't getting on a friggin plane for another hour and a half?' Jamie added that Jetstar had attempted to explain the delay to her flight. '[They gave] every other excuse under the sun,' she said. 'Every other plane was leaving - no dramas, just mine. So I'm like spare me your excuses and your lies.' She also complained that Jetstar's port in Melbourne was 'too far' from the luggage pick-up and whinged about the menu available to passengers on her recent flight. 'I was annoyed, I wanted a ham and cheese toastie,' she said. However, Jamie finished her outburst with a surprising compliment for the airline. 'I made it here safely - that is all you can really ask for at the end of the day and the staff were really my God,' she said. Daily Mail Australia has approached Jetstar for comment. Jamie's post has attracted 185 comments since she shared her experience on the weekend - with many followers joining in to slam the airline. 'I don't think I've ever had a Jetstar flight that wasn't cancelled or delayed,' commented one user. 'Facts girl! You get what you pay for hey,' added another. Jamie showed a sense of humour about her experience in the thread. 'I love how dramatic I am, yet I'm so supported,' she said. It comes after another former MAFS star, Jacqui Burfoot, was slammed for accusing Jetstar of stealing her partner, Clint Rice's, jacket. Burfoot took to TikTok earlier this month to recount an ordeal while flying with the budget airline. 'Clint and I flew Jetstar. We never pick Jetstar, we are not fans of Jetstar because they're just budget. They do things poorly,' Jacqui said. Jacqui went on to explain that when she and Clint recently caught a flight with the airline, she was wearing her partner's Hugo Boss jacket, worth 'somewhere between $400 and $800', to keep her legs warm. 'The flight attendant came over and said, "Hey, we need to put your jacket away, can I please take that jacket from you?" And I was like, "Yeah, sure. Fine,"' she recalled. The reality bride said the couple forgot about Clint's jacket until they arrived at their hotel. Already miffed about leaving the jacket behind, Jacqui became enraged when she called Jetstar to report the garment missing - and was told it was not in lost property. This did not sit well with Jacqui, who then accused the cabin crew of taking off with Clint's jacket. Jacqui's rant drew a flurry of comments from followers, with many slamming the reality star for suggesting the airline would pilfer the article of clothing. One user summed up the sentiment of many with: 'Your jacket, your problem.' Jacqui returned to TikTok the following day to share a shock twist in the mile-high ordeal. This time, Clint also featured in the clip, and he was happy to report the jacket had been found.

MAFS stars Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan look more loved-up than ever during flirty date night in Sydney
Married At First Sight's Jamie Marinos and Eliot Donovan looked absolutely smitten as they stepped out for a romantic date night in Sydney on Wednesday. The lovebirds were spotted beaming as they strolled hand-in-hand through Newtown before dining at local favourite La Favola - Authentic Italian. At one point, Eliot, 35, even swept Jamie, 29, off her feet - quite literally - lifting her into his arms as the pair laughed and cuddled under the streetlights. Jamie turned heads in a statement shaggy chocolate brown faux-fur jacket, which she paired with relaxed-fit blue jeans and towering nude heels. She kept her glam natural, showing off her golden locks and glowing skin, and carried a chic olive-toned shoulder bag with a chunky chain strap. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Meanwhile, Eliot kept things effortlessly cool in a fitted black tee that showed off his sleeve tattoo, paired with black trousers and matching leather shoes. The casually handsome entrepreneur couldn't wipe the smile off his face as he gazed at Jamie throughout the night. The couple, who went public with their romance during the MAFS reunion special earlier this year, appeared totally relaxed and at ease with each other, laughing and chatting animatedly as they wandered through the busy Inner West strip. An onlooker told Daily Mail Australia the pair looked 'like they were in their own little world' and 'couldn't keep their hands off each other'. It's a full-circle moment for Jamie and Eliot, whose chemistry was evident the moment they were introduced on the show - even if sparks didn't immediately fly during the experiment. Since filming wrapped, the duo have continued to grow closer away from the cameras, with sources close to the pair revealing they've become 'inseparable' and are even talking about moving in together. Last month Jamie was forced to set the record straight after fans started speculating she might be pregnant. The popular bride sparked baby rumours after appearing in a gallery of snaps from Voir Vodka dinner at Bar Bambi in Melbourne, which she attended with Eliot and co-star Teejay Halkias. The images, shared by @mafsgossip, included a shot of Jamie posing with Eliot - who she has been romantically linked to in recent months - wearing a sleek all-black outfit which seemed to hint at a small bump. 'Is it me or does Jaime look like she's got a bump?' one fan commented, while another added, 'Just don't know if it's a baby bump or Photoshopped to look like it. But 100% it's a bump!' But Jamie wasted no time shutting down the speculation, jumping into the comments to address the chatter directly. 'I'm going to blame the lighting on that, because it does and I can assure you there's no bump,' she wrote, adding a laughing emoji. In another cheeky comment, the blonde beauty joked, 'Why am I excited now for a non-existent baby?' before confirming the 'countless' vodkas she consumed that night were proof enough she wasn't expecting. The MAFS star later doubled down, taking to her Instagram Stories to share the same photo and write: 'What in the optical illusion is this? I look like I have a baby bump.' She added: 'How funny would it be if at an event for an alcohol brand I announce a pregnancy, except it wouldn't be funny because I'd be pissed the f**k off that I'm sober.' Since the show wrapped in April, Jamie and Eliot have emerged as two of the most-followed cast members, regularly sparking dating rumours with their flirty comments, TikTok videos and joint appearances at events. Despite their undeniable chemistry, Jamie previously clarified their relationship during a Q&A with fans, insisting: 'We are really good friends. 'He's been such a great support system, always makes me laugh and I'm super grateful to have him around.' She added: 'We are both single, and focusing on ourselves at the moment – but who knows what the future holds.' Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Jamie and Eliot echoed that sentiment, saying they've struck up an 'unlikely friendship' post-show and are simply 'taking each day as it comes'. The pair first sparked romance rumours after attending Daily Mail Australia's reunion party in April. 'Jamie is an absolute babe and I would be very lucky to be in a romantic relationship with her... but at this point in time, we are just close friends,' he told 9Entertainment. 'I'm not in any kind of position to be navigating a romantic relationship but I wouldn't rule anything out. I am absolutely loving going on this journey with Jamie by my side.' Eliot spoke highly of his relationship with Jamie and said their friendship had grown since meeting during filming last year.

Married At First Sight star Dave Hand shares heartbreaking news: 'It's taken a toll'
Married At First Sight star Dave Hand has given a heartbreaking update about his father Howard's health. The reality groom, 36, shared his father's cancer journey with viewers during his homestay visit with TV bride Jamie Marinos. Despite revealing at the time that his father had 'turned a corner', Dave admitted to The Mirror this week that Howard's cancer had returned. 'The tumours my dad had on the show that had previously shrunk – they've come back pretty quickly,' Dave told the publication. Dave added that Howard was currently taking part in a clinical trial in an effort to beat the disease. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'He's on a trial now. Only 200 people in the world are doing it,' Dave explained. 'My dad's response for doing it is, "If I can help somebody out, I'm going to give this trial a crack and help the future." 'He's been fighting it for five years and now it's taken a toll on him. 'He's a bit frail and now he's got to go into battle again.' MAFS fans were introduced to Howard and Dave's stepmother Karen during a homestay visit with Jamie. It was an emotional reunion for Dave, who hadn't seen his father since before his reality TV wedding. Dave revealed that the reason Howard missed out on the nuptials was that he was undergoing chemotherapy. The groom was then shown on his wedding day sitting alone and FaceTiming with Karen and Howard. 'I wish my dad was well enough to come to the wedding,' he said. 'He'd just started chemo for the fourth time.' Dave also admitted that his father's cancer battle had taken a personal toll over the last four years. 'Seeing dad over the last four years, it sort of does take a lot out of me,' he said. 'You take it all on board. 'So, this visit hopefully is a bit different. I got some news about him yesterday but I haven't spoken to him yet, so it'll be good to see him.' After a happy introduction, the family sat down at the table to hear Howard deliver his news. 'There were three tumours, two tumours have shrunk and the third tumour has gone,' Howard revealed.' 'Another four doses should hopefully clean it up. Something's finally working.' Dave said at the time he was over the moon with the good news. 'I'm so glad that my dad's turned the corner – he's been on my mind since day one,' he said. 'Seeing him with a bit more pep in his step, I'm super, super happy. I'm a bit emotional but happy.' Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Australia in April, Dave revealed his emotional outbursts on the series were due to his heartbreak over his father's cancer battle, but claimed much of the explanation was 'cut out' and as a result he was left looking like a terrible husband and 'horrible person'. '[My Dad] took a turn and I was really struggling with that, but they completely cut that out of the edit so it looks like I did a total backflip on Jamie, but I was communicating my feelings about my dad,' he explained. He went on to say he cried while explaining the situation on the couch with the experts, and told them he was 'struggling' with the experiment due to him being so preoccupied with his father's illness. 'Watching that back on screen and seeing how they edited it was really difficult for me, because everyone in the experiment knew how much I was struggling, my friends and family knew, but it didn't come across that way at all, it was just like "he's a terrible person."' Dave admitted he had 'no idea' why the footage was cut, but blamed it on the tough realities of showbiz and said all he could do now was 'move on'. 'I know how I handled myself in there was the best I could have in that capacity,' he said. 'If I had to go back there it was a really scary place to be, because I knew I was struggling and I turned up to be the partner Jamie needed but, in the edit, it looks like I did a huge backflip.'

On Saturday, the 28-year-old marketing manager was spotted getting up close and personal with tattooed TikTok heartthrob Tyson Fievez during a wild night out in Melbourne and fans can't stop talking about it Speaking to Daily Mail Australia after their surprise reunion, Tyson finally broke his silence on why he bailed on their original meeting during filming - and it seems there are no hard feelings between them. 'She's an amazing chick, with a bubbly energy! Definitely a vibe to be around,' Tyson gushed. 'Honestly I had no bad intentions standing her up first time round. Just didn't wanna intrude on her previous marriage with David,' he explained. 'Guess you'll have too wait and see if romance develops!' he added with a wink. Fans were quick to flood social media with support for the unlikely duo, with many now shipping them as a post-show couple. 'They actually look so cute together,' one person commented. 'She dodged a bullet with Dave – this is the match we were robbed of!' another declared. Jamie was left visibly disappointed on-air after being ghosted during the 'most f**ked up challenge' of the season, as she waited alone at a Sydney restaurant with a glass of white wine. The popular bride was left humiliated after she bravely agreed to meet her alternative match - only to be left hanging when her 'Plan B' ghosted her at the last second. In a light-hearted yet emotional moment, Jamie told producers: 'I'm a nosey b***h, I love to know these things… So curious!' 'I had more than one match? I'm actually surprised there was one match. Now, there's more? I'm unmatchable!' Later that evening, when her TV husband Dave returned, Jamie confessed she had accepted the challenge - only to be stood up 'for the first time ever'. Dave, who had declined his own offer to meet a potential second match, was surprisingly supportive. 'We're in a marriage here. I trust her… but I'm glad she got stood up,' he laughed in a vox pop.
