A video from Chhattisgarh's Durg district showing a couple performing a 'filmy-style" stunt on a moving bike has gone viral, sparking outrage over traffic violations.
The clip, reportedly filmed in Bhilai Township's Sector 10, shows a young woman sitting on the petrol tank of a moving motorcycle, hugging the rider, as both flouted safety rules without wearing helmets. The footage appears to have been recorded from a car trailing the bike.

After the video spread online, Bhilai Nagar Police tracked down and arrested the rider, identified as Manish. Officials confirmed that legal proceedings under the Motor Vehicles Act have been initiated against him.
The case recalls a similar episode from June on the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, where a couple's love stunt on a bike went viral. The man was fined ₹53,500 for multiple traffic violations. Police have urged citizens not to endanger lives for social media stunts.
