ICAI Nagpur holds traffic awareness, two-wheeler rally on Independence Day

Nagpur: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Nagpur branch, celebrated 79th Independence Day with full zeal and enthusiasm at its Dhantoli office. Flag hoisting at was done by CA Dinesh Rathi, chairman of Nagpur branch. He paid tributes to all freedom fighters for their contribution in getting freedom for the coutry. He said that independence gives us responsibilities with rights as the citizen of India. He urged the members and students to value independence by contributing professionally and individually to the development of the country. A traffic sense programme was organised jointly with Vibrant Road Safety Awareness Foundation followed by a two-wheeler rally. CA Jaydeep Shah, past president of ICAI, reflected on the importance of freedom and the responsibility that comes with it. "As we celebrate our nation's independence, let's also remember our duty to preserve it for future generations," Shah said.
