Jeff Cummins' Doctor Who illustrations in new book

Launched by publishing house Candy Jar Books, Outside the Box: The Complete Doctor Who Art of Jeff Cummins, is a new title celebrating the legacy of the Flintshire-based artist - timed perfectly ahead of a major Doctor Who exhibition this summer. Jeff has been a leading figure in British sci-fi and pop culture illustration for decades, producing artwork for Paul McCartney, Led Zeppelin, and most famously, Doctor Who. This new volume focuses exclusively on his contributions to the Doctor Who universe, bringing together his iconic Target novel covers, personal commissions, rare early pieces and never-before-seen artwork. The book includes: • Jeff's celebrated Target novel covers and work from the Doctor Who Discovers series. • A detailed look at the unreleased Target calendar project. • New illustrations of Doctors old and new - including portraits of Colin Baker, David Bradley, Tom Baker, and more. • A new comic strip chronicling Jeff's life as an artist. • Private commissions, early works, and Jeff's latest Dalek painting - connecting his childhood in Wales to his present-day artistry.
