Frame 101: A Guide to Shopping the Celeb-Approved Denim Staples

Frame was launched in Los Angeles in 2012, by founders Erik Torstensson and Jens Grede, with a focus on handcrafted denim. The brand began with jeans, but quickly became a modern day phenomena—taking off in the early years, with the help of countless supermodel and creative collaborations, including Karlie Kloss in 2014, Inez & Vinoodh in 2015, and Lara Stone in 2016. A Guide to Frame's Most Popular Denim: Since then, Frame's offerings have expanded, with collections consisting of luxe, ready-to-wear pieces, such as cashmere, leather, and outerwear, plus accessories, with countless, iconic moments along the way. From the Frame x Ritz Paris collaboration, to Sienna Miller's most recent campaign, the brand continues to move the needle with high-profile partnerships and eye-catching editorials focused around their easy-to-wear, gets-better-with-time quality denim silhouettes. From straight-legs, to palazzos, skinny jeans, and more, keep reading to discover all the best Frame denim styles, right here. Le Sleek Straight One of its most-loved styles, Le Sleek Straight is a high-rise silhouette made from super-stretch denim that is both soft and comfortable. Hitting right at the ankle, it pairs perfectly with everything from ballet flats to ankle boots, plus all your other wardrobe essentials, offering a clean look and relaxed feel you are sure to reach for over and over. Le Slim Palazzo Comfort comes first with Le Slim Palazzo—a roomier, wide-leg jean that has been in the Frame lineup for years. It's high-waisted, fitted at the hip, then softens to a subtle flare. These are effortless in design, easy to wear, and extremely soft —made from a stretch, cotton modal blend. Pair with your favorite blouse for the office or a cozy sweater on the weekend, or even consider wearing in flight—they are truly that comfortable. The Bubble The Bubble is Frame's answer to fashion's new fixation: the barrel-leg jean. The exaggerated leg curves to create a voluminous horseshoe-shape effect, and has been finished off with a cuff at the hem (which can also be unrolled, should you wish). The high-rise allows you to perfectly tuck in a T-shirt, button down, and or fitted cardigan for a dramatic upgrade to your everyday denim. The Arrow Bootcut jeans are very much back, and The Arrow checks all the boxes. Crafted from structured, stretch denim, it has the look of a vintage jean with the comfortable features of modern fabrication. Featuring a full-length inseam and slight bell below the knee, petites will rejoice that this style also is part of the brand's Pixie line, which caters to those needing a shorter inseam. The Vertical If stretch denim isn't your thing, take The Vertical for a test drive. It's a relaxed fit with a high-rise design, similar to Le High Straight, however this one is made with rigid, regenerative denim and has a longer inseam—it's the pair worn by Sienna Miller in her campaign. Think of this as your off-duty must-have; style accordingly, with your favorite leather jacket and sneakers, or a simple tank top and slides for a timeless approach. The Lax Inspired by the laid-back vibe of the brand's birthplace, Los Angeles, this wide-leg flare is made from rigid denim. Flaunting a frayed hemline for vintage-inspired appeal, they're a standby style that never loses its fashionable flair whether dressed up or down. Available in true blue, light wash, and white, try styling them with a striped T-shirt or a poplin blouse, for that certain je ne sais quoi. Le High Skinny The return of the skinny jean is on everyone's mind, but Frame's Le High Skinny has always been a go-to for brand enthusiasts, no matter current denim trends. It boasts a mid-rise cut with long, stovepipe legs that hit at the ankle. Made from stretch denim, it's the style that will hug your figure, just like a glove. Pair with all your favorite footwear musts, such as knee-high boots and ballerina flats. The Reboot Crop For most denim aficionados, having a cropped, boot-cut jean in their regular rotation is a necessity. The Reboot Crop is made from Frame's infamous, super-stretchy denim, with a streamlined design that focuses on quality and wearability. It styles perfectly, no matter the season, with sandals in the summer, boots in the fall and winter, or loafers and flats, for all the moments in between.

Kim Kardashian's Skims to open first UK flagship store on iconic high street

KIM Kardashian's Skims will open its first UK flagship store on an iconic high street. The £3billion shapewear brand founded by the reality star and British entrepreneurs Emma and Jens Grede is set to launch its first store on Regent Street, London. 2 The pricey underwear brand, which charges £20 for a thong, already has concessions in Selfridges and Harrods department stores. But come summer 2026 it will open a standalone shop that will exclusively sell its wears. Skims will take over 245-247 Regent Street, the former site of Ted Baker, which collapsed last August and has signed a 10-year lease with landlords The Crown Estate. The street, which intersects with Oxford Street at Oxford Circus, is home to a number of designer brands including Burberry and Canada Goose. Robert Norton, chief commercial officer at Skims, said: 'This milestone reflects our strategic focus on expanding into key global markets, bringing SKIMS' unique brand vision directly to customers worldwide." Meanwhile, Laura Thursfield, Retail Leasing Director at The Crown Estate, added: 'Welcoming Skims in its first foray into the UK bricks-and-mortar market is an exciting moment for The Crown Estate. "Emphasising Regent Street's position as London's premier lifestyle destination, the arrival of SKIMS highlights the area's sustained attractiveness for global brands." It will be good news for the iconic London shopping district, which has been bruised by a number of departures in recent years. Tech giant Microsoft closed its 21,000 sq ft store in February, six years after opening in 2019. Cool Britannia, the legendary UK souvenir shop, also shuttered earlier this year, much to the dismay of customers. Kim Kardashian launches Skims bra with 30 different strap styles But it's not all bad news for the street, with IKEA finally opening its new store at the former Topshop store last month. It's set over three floors and 5,400 square metres, and also includes its iconic cafe. Nikeworld is also currently closed as it undergoes a refurbishment. WHAT BUSINESSES ARE OWNED BY THE KARDASHAIN'S? Skims is just one of countless bushiness launched by the Kardashian clan, which consists of 'momager' Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Khloe Kardashian, 40, owns Good American Jeans, which sell for up to £130 at Selfridges. Meanwhile eldest sister Kourtney owns a range of Lemme's Health Gummies, including a vaginal gummy which is meant to support pH levels, odour, a healthy microflora. Kylie Jenner, who was born following her mother Kris's second marriage to Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce), is the owner of Kylie Cosmetics which was valued at over £900million. The success of SKIMS Initially conceived as a vanity project by Kim Kardashian, Skims has metamorphosed into one of the most sought-after lingerie brands, enlisting high-profile names like Jude Bellingham and Nicola Coughlan. The brand celebrates bodies of all shapes and sizes, and Nicola's natural curves make her a perfect fit. Nicola's stunning debut in a floral "goddess" campaign came just days after Jude Bellingham, the 20-year-old England football star, showcased the men's line. Kim praised Nicola, saying: "Nicola is such an inspiration on screen and beyond, and she really brought the campaign to life with her undeniable beauty and energy." Since its 2019 launch, Skims has attracted a star-studded roster including Kate Moss, Usher, and Lana Del Rey. The brand's value has soared to £3 billion, with a 50% increase in sales last year. Unlike the glitzy allure of premium brands like Victoria's Secret, Skims excels by blending comfort with subtle elegance, bolstered by savvy viral campaigns. Kim's campaign promoting a faux perky nipple bra sparked diverse reactions. Some women found the £64 bra empowering, while others criticised it for objectifying women. Personally, I found it uplifting—both literally and figuratively. The £70 Skims waist trainer also proved popular, especially among new mothers. Kim revealed she often gifts it to friends post-pregnancy, praising its ability to make her feel "snatched." Despite health concerns, the corset sold out rapidly online. Skims has expanded beyond lingerie to include swimwear, dresses, loungewear, PJs, and menswear. The brand's commitment to inclusivity, featuring a diverse range of celebs and models, resonates with a multi-generational audience. A notable collaboration with Italian luxury fashion house Fendi in November 2021 further elevated Skims' profile. The limited collection, starting at $950 (£747), sold out within 24 hours, generating over a million dollars in sales within minutes. In summary, Skims' success lies in its unique blend of inclusivity, comfort, and clever marketing, ensuring its place as a dominant force in the fashion industry.

SKIMS Opens Los Angeles Flagship, Continuing Its Retail Expansion

In a move that will significantly expand its physical retail footprint, popular apparel brand SKIMS, co-founded by Kim Kardashian, launched its flagship West Hollywood retail location on the Sunset Strip April 1. The move gives the shapewear company a significant West Coast presence and marks its first standalone store in Southern California. The storefront, spanning 4,546 square feet, follows the brand's successful New York City flagship debut on Fifth Avenue in 2024 and represents a continuation of SKIMS' strategy to build out its brick-and-mortar presence alongside its established – and hyped – e-commerce channel. 'Los Angeles has always been an important market for SKIMS and the place we call home, so opening a flagship store here was the natural next step,' said co-founder and CEO Jens Grede. 'We're excited to keep expanding, giving both new and loyal customers a space to fully experience SKIMS.' More store openings are anticipated later this year. The space aims to create an immersive brand environment consistent with SKIMS' aesthetic. It incorporates signature elements like rounded fixtures, custom mannequins, and materials such as Corian and ultrasuede. Kardashian underscored the location's significance: 'Opening a SKIMS store in Los Angeles is a full-circle moment. Having a space here where people can experience the brand in person makes it even more special.' To coincide with the opening, SKIMS has prepped an exclusive partnership with the iconic Sunset Strip Mel's Drive-In. The diner is hosting a 'SKIMS Drive-In' themed pop-up from April 2 through 6. The transformed classic diner will have SKIMS-style touches throughout, a curated menu, priority access to the store included with a visit and, of course, a photobooth to capture that perfect selfie. The news follows the SKIMS announcement of a significant collaboration with sportswear manufacturer Nike, resulting in an entirely new line: NikeSKIMS. The new brand merges Nike's approach to advanced innovation, sport science and athlete insights with SKIMS' obsession for the female form and pioneering pursuit of solutions for every body. Built on a commitment to innovation, inclusivity and breaking boundaries, NikeSKIMS will offer an extensive line of training apparel, footwear and accessories designed to meet the unique needs and preferences of athletes around the world. NikeSKIMS is set to debut its first collection at select retail locations and online this spring. A global expansion will follow in 2026, with extension to new markets and retail locations, including wholesale partners. With a shared, long-term vision that celebrates every dimension of athleticism, from the elite to the everyday, NikeSKIMS is dedicated to creating coveted products meticulously crafted to fit the body's every curve, enhancing its natural form.
