When the preseason rolls around, the Arizona Cardinals will have two of their games air live on NFL Network. The NFL announced its full slate of live preseason coverage of 21 preseason games. These will not be what would be considered traditional national broadcasts. These games will not have a national broadcast team. These games will air the home team's broadcast feed nationally, so when the Cardinals' game against the Denver Broncos is on NFL Network, viewers will hear the Denver broadcast team and in their preseason finale against the Las Vegas Raiders at State Farm Stadium, the broadcast on NFL Network will feature the Cardinals' broadcast team. Arizona Cardinals to have 2 preseason games air live on NFL Network The Cardinals-Broncos preseason game was already set to air on NFL Network. Now Raiders-Cardinals will as well. When the Arizona Cardinals announced their finalized preseason schedule for this August, they knew they would get one game airing live on NFL Network. Their one reoad preseason tilt, against the Denver Broncos on August 16, was set to be on NFL Network live — not as a national broadcast, but rather with the regional broadcast with the Broncos' broadcast team for a national audience. The NFL announced its full live coverage of the preseason on NFL Network and the Cardinals will in fact have two games on NFL Network. Their preseason finale on Aug. 23 from State Farm Stadium against the Las Vegas Raiders will also air on NFL Network. As that is a home game, the Cardinals' broadcast team will be what is aired. The league will cover 21 total preseason games live on NFL Network. The Cardinals' preseason finale against the Raiders will be the final game of the network's preseason coverage. Arizona Cardinals begin Phase 3 of offseason program with first week of OTAs The Cardinals kick off OTAs on Wednesday. Have a look at the rest of their offseason schedule. The Arizona Cardinals begin the final part of the offseason program on Wednesday. It is the beginning of OTAs (voluntary organized team activities). It is the beginning of Phase 3. Teams are able to practice offense vs. defense. They might have helmets on but not pads. They can go 11-on-11 or 7-on-7. Whether the Cardinals do much of this is yet to be seen. The two weeks of OTAs are voluntary. They will have a week of mandatory minicamp. NFL rules permit three weeks and 10 practices for OTAs and a week of minicamp with three practices. The Cardinals will hold only two weeks of OTAs. Here is the remaining offseason schedule. That means the Cardinals will report on July 25 and hold their first practice on July 26, a Saturday.
