The Hideaway has seen raunchy scenes as recently as summer 2024, when Joey Essex and Jessy Potts had the champagne bucket rocking with their nighttime action. Executive producer Mike Spencer-Hayter said: 'It's about keeping the show fresh and exciting. 'I personally don't want to see 'ooh, let's open a cupboard and get something out.' 'I think we've seen it time and time again. I think we've got to move on. 'I don't want this show to feel static. This show has to feel fresh. 'I think as producers we need to keep ahead of the curve because we are the number one dating show in the world. The stats speak for themselves but we can't rely on that. 'We've got a push forward. The changes come after Mike laid down the gauntlet to the whole production team to ensure the series was the best yet to mark the tenth anniversary. Mike said: 'When we sat down at the start of the year we were having a discussion about how to do Love Island this year. And with every single aspect of this show, let's look at it, let's see how we can improve it and let's see how we can make it more exciting for the viewers. He added: 'I think we'll be putting more bombshells in than before - we did 54 one year. 'I feel like it reminds me of Love Island in the early days. Personality is key. 'I think we're going to see real love. 'They're a good group and a good mix, but great bombshells as well.' EXCLUSIVE Joey Essex shares a passionate kiss with mystery girl during Ibiza holiday... eight months after splitting from his Love Island girlfriend Jessy Potts

Joey Essex is enjoying a sun-soaked holiday with a new mystery girl. The former TOWIE star, who split from his Love Island girlfriend Jessy Potts in September, was spotted sharing a passionate kiss with a pretty blonde at ME Hotel in Ibiza on Saturday. Joey, 34, couldn't keep his hands off his new love interest, wrapping his arms around her waist as they enjoyed some drinks by the pool. Whilst Joey was dressed in a black t-shirt, his PDA partner showed off her Ibiza tan in a white crop top and matching trousers, finishing her casual look with a straw bucket hat. Joey and Jessy split just seven weeks after leaving the Love Island villa last summer. The pair said they 'tried to make their relationship work' but after leaving the Love Island villa it 'just wasn't meant to be'. Joey told The Sun back in September: 'Unfortunately, we have decided to call an end to the relationship but I hope we can continue to be friends. I truly wish Jessy the very best with whatever she does in the future.' Jessy added: 'I appreciate the Love Island experience I had with Joey, we tried to make it work but it wasn't to be. 'I'm so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead.' The pair fell in love during series 11 of Love Island and made it all the way to the grand finale. But less than two months on, it was recently rumoured that the pair were 'hardly speaking' amid their busy schedules. A source told The Sun: 'Joey and Jessy have barely spent any time together as he's been so busy doing nightclub PAs - it's causing a lot of friction between them. 'At Ronnie Vint's Eggiboff event it was noticed by a lot of people that they hardly spoke. Sadly it looks like it's only a matter of time before they split.' Jessy herself recently noted that things had become 'hard' as they tried to navigate their relationship away from the bubble of the villa. She told heatworld: 'We're organising when to see each other, and I think it's hard because you compare it to the other couples. Jessy also noted that it was always going to be 'different' for them because Joey was resuming his 'normal life' as a celebrity, whilst she had to learn to cope with her newfound fame. She added: 'They're with each other 24/7, whereas we always knew it was going to be different because he's catching up on his normal life, whereas for the rest of us we're thrown into a new life. 'Everything is new and we're waiting for things to come up. It was always going to be slightly different. 'We're both making the effort and everyone's speculating that we've broken up. We're working it out.' Joey shocked fans when he entered the Love Island villa as a bombshell during the 2024 series' launch episode. The former TOWIE star, who was the oldest contestant in the line-up, declared he was 'looking for a wife in the villa'. Before his surprise dating show stint, the reality star had a series of glamorous girlfriends - beginning with his on-screen romance with TOWIE co-star Sam Faiers. The pair's tumultuous relationship dominated the early seasons of the show and culminated in a Dubai proposal before things all dramatically fell apart. After Sam, Joey would go on to date a string of famous faces including I'm A Celeb co-star Amy Willerton, singer Rita Ora and Made In Chelsea's Stephanie Pratt.
