Don't get it twisted: DEI has been a disaster
The April 27 letter to the editor has a misconception about what DEI entailed. When diversity, equity, and inclusion was established it encouraged organizations to place people in positions based on their sex, race, and gender ideology. The practice has been a disaster due to unqualified people being placed in critical positions.
