The Priceless Moment When Fans Spot Lady Gaga In Singapore

It's not every day you bump into your favourite pop icon, but for two lucky fans, that's exactly what happened when they spotted Lady Gaga dining at a restaurant. Their stunned and emotional reactions have now gone viral. Several photos and videos of the Joker 2 star have been circulating online, but one clip in particular stands out. Shared by professional photographer Aukse Grei on Instagram, the video captures her delightful and unexpected encounter with Gaga. The video also shows how she and her friend were thrilled and overwhelmed. 'Casually having lunch together with Lady Gaga in Singapore…I don't know how to recover from this," she captioned the video. In the clip, Grei and her friend are seen bursting with excitement after spotting the pop icon at the restaurant. She went on to capture Lady Gaga's casual outing, as the singer enjoyed a relaxed meal with her fiance, Michael Polansky, and close friends before making her way out of the venue.

JOKER 2's Wild Ride Ends in a $144 Million Loss for WB, Roughly the Budget of WONDER WOMAN — GeekTyrant

As you know, Joker: Folie á Deux didn't exactly laugh its way to the bank. Despite its high-profile cast and the legacy of the 2019 Joker , which grossed over a billion dollars, this sequel has become one of Warner Bros.' most expensive misfires in recent memory. According to a recent Deadline report, Joker 2 left Warner Bros. staring at a staggering $144.25 million net loss. That's almost the same amount it cost to make the first Wonder Woman , a film that grossed $824 million globally and became a cultural touchstone. Joker 2 ? Not so much. Directed once again by Todd Phillips, Folie á Deux brought back Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck, and he was joined by Lady Gaga as Harley 'Lee' Quinzel. The film attempted something unique, a musical psychological thriller, but the results didn't resonate. With a Rotten Tomatoes score sitting at 31%, the critical reception frigid. It also picked up a few Razzie Awards. Financially, here's the breakdown that really stings: Production budget: $200 million Marketing & distribution (P&A): $106.3 million Total cost: $371.3 million Total revenue: $227 million Net loss: -$144.3 million This sequel gambled big, and lost bigger. The studio was hoping that lightning would strike twice, but it didn't. Double down on stylized risk didn't work. Joker: Folie á Deux is now streaming on Max if you're curious to see what $371 million looks like when it goes sideways. Did you see the movie? What did you think of the direction it took compared to the first?

Joaquin Phoenix's woes after Joker 2's failure continue as thieves steal pricey possession from his LA home

Joaquin Phoenix is following up the critical and commercial disaster of Joker 2 with a smaller-scale crisis that's closer to home. The 50-year-old Oscar winner had a run-in with thieves at his LA-area home this week, law enforcement sources told TMZ on Thursday. On Monday, Phoenix's car was reportedly stolen from his home, and police are now investigating the theft. has reached out to the actor's representative for comment. Phoenix had a 2022 Volvo SUV that reportedly cost around $60,000 parked outside, though it's unclear if it was still on his property or on the street in front of his property. The theft was reported by one of the actor's employees after they stepped out and noticed that the car was suddenly missing. Phoenix's bad news comes on the heels of his film Joker 2's critical and commercial failure; pictured with Lady Gaga in a still from the film The law enforcement sources say Phoenix wasn't home at the time of the theft, so the worker who discovered it went ahead and filed a police report. So far, there haven't been any arrests, though the investigation is said to be continuing. Although the car was discovered stolen on Monday afternoon, it's unclear if the thief — or thieves — nabbed it earlier that day or if it could have been taken overnight. It's also unknown if Joaquin's wife Rooney Mara was home when the theft was discovered. The two had been living together since 2017, about a year after they started dating. Phoenix and Mara later got engaged in 2019, and they welcomed a son named River — after Phoenix's late brother — in August of the following year. Last year was pivotal for the couple, as they welcomed their second child — whose name and gender they haven't revealed — in June, and then they finally wed in September. The two first worked together on the acclaimed romantic drama Her in 2013, and they later starred in the films Mary Magdalene and Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far On Foot. The film grossed just over $200 million, despite costing nearly that much to make without factoring in advertising costs; still from Joker 2 The biblical film was shot prior to their relationship but released years later, while the later film was shot after they were already a couple. Following the monster success of Joaquin's 2019 film Joker — which grossed more than $1 billion from a relatively modest budget — he has starred in a string of small films and box office disappointments. In 2021, he appeared in Mike Mills' low-budget dramedy C'mon C'mon, and two years later he reemerged with two films, the Ari Aster–directed black comedy Beau Is Afraid and the historical epic Napoleon, which was directed by Ridley Scott. Both films received polarizing reviews, and Beau Is Not Afraid failed to make back its $35 million budget, while Napoleon's $221.4 million gross reportedly still amounted to a significant loss when factoring in advertising costs, according to Deadline. However, its distributor Apple has claimed the film was profitable after makign up the shortfall in digital rentals. Last year's Joker was a shocking bomb for a comic book film, earning only a little over $200 million and receiving scathing reviews. Phoenix will next be teaming up with Aster — who previously directed Hereditary and Midsommar — for Eddington, a Western film set in the present that also stars Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone and Austin Butler.

Wednesday star Emma Myers says season 2 has the "perfect" cast: "I had a great time working with all of them"

Wednesday season 2 is just around the corner, and as the Addams family daughter gets ready to take on another year at Nevermore Academy, co-star Emma Myers has given a positive update on what it was like working with the season's exciting new guest stars. 'So cool. Everybody was so cool in this new season. I think the cast is perfect,' says Myers exclusively to GamesRadar+. 'Everybody fits their roles. Yeah, I had a great time working with all of them. So this next season will be fun.' Wednesday season 2 has added quite the string of famous faces such as Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, and Joanna Lumley. But that's not all as Joker 2 star Lady Gaga is also set to appear, although her role is yet to be disclosed. Of course, original cast members are returning too. Myers will reprise her role as Wednesday's bubbly roommate Enid Sinclair, alongside Wednesday herself Jenna Ortega. Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), and Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) will also return. The official synopsis for season 2 reads: "This season, Wednesday must navigate family, friends, and old adversaries, propelling her into another year of delightfully dark and kooky mayhem. Armed with her signature razor-sharp wit and deadpan charm, Wednesday is also plunged into a new bone-chilling supernatural mystery." Although we know that season 2 will hit the streamer sometime in 2025, Netflix is yet to reveal an exact release date. But, don't worry, as you don't have to wait at all to see Myers again, as her new project A Minecraft Movie has just hit the big screen. Starring Myers as protective big sister Natalie, the new video game movie follows four regular world humans (Myers, Sebastian Hansen, Jason Momoa, and Danielle Brooks) as they get pulled into a strange cubic world with their only chance of survival falling fown to an eccentric in-game character named Steve (Jack Black). When asked what she thinks Enid and Wednesday would do if they were pulled into the Minecraft world, Myers replied: "I think they'd both be a little bit freaked out, but then I think quickly Enid would get the hang of it. She'd build a little house out of pink wood or some sheep wool." However, Myers doesn't think Wednesday would fare too well in the Overworld. "I don't think Wednesday would do anything," adds Myers. "She would just stand there and be confused." A Minecraft Movie is out in cinemas now. Lady Gaga Addressed Her 2013 Duet With R. Kelly On 'Saturday Night Live' In Her Opening Monologue

This post contains mentions of sexual abuse. Lady Gaga returned to Saturday Night Live over the weekend, marking her fifth appearance as a musical guest and her second time as a host. And while her musical performances have been going incredibly viral, her opening monologue is gaining a ton of attention, too. As well as poking fun at the negative reception to Joker 2, Gaga also acknowledged that the last time she hosted SNL was in 2013, when she was just 27 years old. Notably, the singer directly addressed the fact that she performed on that episode alongside the now-imprisoned R. Kelly, who featured on her ARTPOP album. Joking that 'every aspect of [her] performance aged amazingly," she said: 'So there's no need to Google SNL 2013, Lady Gaga featuring R. Kelly. I won't bring it up because that would be bad.' R. Kelly was convicted back in 2022 for racketeering and sexual abuse of minors and is currently serving a 30-year sentence in New York. He received another 20-year sentence in 2023 in Chicago after being convicted of producing child sexual abuse images. Since their collaboration on the song "Do What U Want" in 2013, Gaga has publicly condemned R. Kelly's actions. 'I stand behind these women 1000%,' she said in 2019 after the documentary Surviving R. Kelly was released. The version of "Do What U Want" featuring the disgraced singer was subsequently removed from all streaming platforms.
