Kia India's pre-owned vehicle network hits 100 outlets, reflects growing market demand

Kia India has announced the inauguration of its 100th Kia Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlet, emerging as one of the fastest OEMs in India to develop a pre-owned vehicle network spanning 100 outlets in under three years. The carmaker's CPO network covers over 70 cities in the country and makes for almost 60 per cent of its total retail footprint, reflecting the growing demand for high-quality pre-owned vehicles among Indian consumers. Buyers who opt for Kia's CPO vehicles can avail warranty coverage of up to two years or 40,000 km, alongside four complimentary periodic maintenance services. Only the cars which meet the strict eligibility criteria, are under 1,00,000 km, and do not have any structural damage are certified. These vehicles are refurbished with genuine Kia parts and backed by verified ownership and service history. Kia's CPO outlets further offer a wide range of services, which include the buying, selling, and exchange of pre-owned cars from any brand. This is a fully digitised process that uses Kia's evaluation app to ensure fair, fast, and transparent assessments. Kia latest updates: Kia Carens Clavis EV launched in India The Kia Carens Clavis EV gets two battery pack options, 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh, with a maximum range of 490 km on a full charge Kia has launched its first all-electric offering for the mass-market, and it is the new Carens Clavis EV that comes priced from ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric MPV is based on the localised E-GMP platform and shares its underpinnings with the facelifted Carens Clavis. Bookings are currently open for a token amount of ₹25,000. The Clavis EV is propelled by a single front-mounted electric motor that is tuned for 169 bhp and 255 Nm of torque. Power is generated by one of two available battery pack options, where the range-topping 51.4 kWh unit makes for an ARAI-claimed single-charge range of 490 km. The smaller 42 kWh battery pack enables a driving range of 404 km (ARAI) per charge. The electric MPV features a 26.6-inch panoramic display with two screens for the digital console and infotainment. The model comes with over 90 connected features, while also carrying over amenities such as Level 2 ADAS, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, a one-touch tumble-down second row seat, ventilated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, ambient lighting, an air purifier, and more. Kia Carens Clavis EV to launch in India on July 15 as an all-electric avatar of the ICE-powered Carens Clavis MPV. Notify me Ahead of the launch of the Kia Carens Clavis EV, the South Korean carmaker has integrated the K-Charge platform within the MyKia app. With this customers can now gain access to over 11,000 charging points across India in collaboration with 18 leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs). This spans both urban and highway routes, supporting daily commutes and long-distance travel alike. Interestingly, Kia India plans to enhance the K-Charge charging points access to over 20,000 by mid-2026. Kia Carens Clavis EV: What to expect The Kia Carens Clavis EV is set to be launched on July 15, 2025. It will be the brand's first made-in-India electric car. Being the electric version of the fossil fuel-powered Carens Clavis, the EV is expected to share a plethora of features with the ICE-powered MPV that is currently on sale. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is expected to share the same powertrain as the Hyundai Creta EV. The Creta Electric is available with two battery pack options - a 42 kWh unit and a 51.5 kWh pack. The 42 kWh pack promises up to 390 km range per charge, while the bigger 51.5 kWh battery pack promises up to 473 km range on a single charge. Expect the electric motor onboard the Kia Carens Clavis EV to churn out about 133 bhp peak power in the 42 kWh battery pack model, and 169 bhp peak power in the 51 kWh battery pack model. The Kia Carens Clavis EV is expected to come packed with advanced technology-aided features. This electric MPV is expected to come with a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear AC vents, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, a wide range of connected car options, a 360-degree surround view camera system, a Level-2 ADAS suite, etc. Expect it to get six airbags as a standard safety feature. Like many contemporary electric cars, expect it to come equipped with V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) and V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) technology. Kia India H1 2025 Sales Rise 12.7 Percent To Over 1.4 Lakh Units

Kia India has announced its sales numbers for H1 2025. Based on the data released, the brand has dispatched 1,42,139 vehicles, showing a growth of 12.7 per cent when compared against 1,26,137 units sold during the same period in the previous year. Along with this, the brand also claimed that the "Made-In-India products" are gaining traction in the global market, reflected by the export of 11,813 vehicles in H1 2025. The South Korean manufacturer also claims that the recently launched Kia Carens Clavis has been receiving a good response from consumers. The MPV was launched in the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom), joining the Sonet, Syros, Seltos, Carens, EV6, and others in the brand's lineup. "With our first Made-in-India EV launching this month, we are diversifying our product portfolio fortifying our long-term commitment to the evolving preferences of Indian customers. Meanwhile, Kia India is preparing to launch the Carens Clavis EV in the Indian market on July 15. This will be the electric powertrain version of the MPV recently launched. It will feature a design very similar to its ICE cousin. Once launched, it will be the first seven-seater electric car in the Indian market.
