Nissan launched the seventh generation of the legendary Nissan Patrol at a ceremony held today on Egypt's North Coast, a stunning stretch along the Mediterranean Sea. The all-new Nissan Patrol embodies a new chapter in Nissan's SUV design, with a distinctive look that balances superior capability with sophistication and luxury. Combining a rich heritage of over 70 years of excellence with advanced aesthetics, the latest model is a textbook interpretation of Nissan's global design philosophy that is rooted in the concepts of 'Daring Presence' and 'Established Prestige'. As Nissan Africa president Jordi Vila explained to the assembled media and Nissan's partners across Egypt, 'The Nissan Patrol is arriving in Africa, starting with Egypt, as we continue our brand promise of excellence, elegance, and premium craftsmanship. A new era of refined luxury begins here.' The All-new Nissan Patrol, he said, was a vehicle that would perform outstandingly irrespective of the terrain or whether it was used for daily commuting or the adventure of a lifetime. Its arrival will reinforce the leadership of the Nissan brand in Egypt and support our broader product strategy across Africa. Nissan Egypt Managing Director Mohamed Abdelsamad agreed, saying the all-new Patrol offered a unique and powerful automotive solution. 'With the launch of this legendary model in the Egyptian market, we affirm our ongoing commitment to provide a premium driving experience, supported by the latest Nissan technologies.' 'The All-New Nissan Patrol has arrived to complement our robust lineup in Egypt, from the best-selling Sunny, a staple in the Egyptian market, to the versatile Sentra, the dynamic Juke, the stylish Qashqai, the adventurous X-Trail, and the rugged Navara. With the Patrol joining this distinguished family, we reaffirm our leadership in the SUV segment and our commitment to delivering excellence across every category.' Abdelsamad added. All-new Engines The seventh-generation Nissan Patrol is the most powerful version of the SUV to date, setting new benchmarks in performance, responsiveness, and efficiency. It offers two engine options to accommodate different driving styles: The first is a new twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, representing a 7% increase in power and a 25% boost in torque compared to the previous V8 engine. The engine is also 24% more fuel efficient, reflecting Nissan's commitment to innovative powertrain development, prioritizing performance and sustainability. The second option is a naturally aspirated 3.8-litre V6 engine, producing 316 horsepower and 386 Nm of torque. The new engine boasts several key upgrades, including refined throttle response, heat-reflective coatings for improved thermal efficiency, a heat-resistant turbocharger for high-stress driving, and a high-performance oil pump to ensure consistent lubrication across rugged terrain. These enhancements optimize airflow and combustion as well as reduce environmental impact. Strong and Elegant Exterior Design The all-new Patrol features a commanding and elegant exterior design. Nissan's iconic V-Motion grille is broader and seamlessly integrated into the bodywork. The bold front is flanked by the distinctive new double C-shaped adaptive LED headlights for optimal visibility, while the striking full-width light bar further accentuates the bold exterior evolution. The Patrol rides on 22-inch alloy wheels, offering both aesthetic appeal and ground-gripping performance on rough terrain. Customers can choose from seven striking exterior colours, including four dual-tone combinations emphasizing individuality and luxury. Advanced Technology for a Unique Driving Experience The Patrol's new nine-speed automatic transmission ensures a smooth, responsive drive across city streets and off-road landscapes. With rapid gear changes and paddle shifters mounted behind the steering wheel, drivers enjoy seamless acceleration and heightened control. The all-new suspension system features electronic dampers that automatically adjust to road conditions for greater comfort and stability, working in tandem with an adaptive air suspension system that allows height adjustments for superior performance across various surfaces. An enhanced electronic steering system with lane-keeping assistance further improves safety and precision. The Patrol offers six drive modes: Standard, Sand, Rock, Mud, Eco, and Sport, ensuring readiness for any road or challenge. Refined Comfort, Innovative Design, and Cutting-Edge Safety The cabin exudes luxury and spaciousness, highlighted by a standard panoramic sunroof and NASA-inspired Zero Gravity seats in the first and second rows. These ergonomic seats reduce fatigue and maximize comfort using biomechanics designed to mimic weightlessness. An adjustable power leg rest further enhances long-drive comfort. The interior boasts dual 14.3-inch screens for navigation and infotainment, plus two 12.8-inch rear-seat entertainment displays, enabling seamless wireless or wired device connectivity. The gear selector has been upgraded to a sleek electronic 'Piano Key' shifter, offering a modern, intuitive driving experience. The All-New Nissan Patrol introduces an exceptional audio experience with its 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio system. Featured in select trims, this system delivers an immersive and crystal-clear soundscape that integrates seamlessly into the Patrol's interior, thanks to precision-engineered components developed by Nissan and Klipsch engineers. Complementing this sensory sophistication is the Patrol's segment-first Biometric Cooling technology, designed to maintain optimal comfort regardless of external temperatures. Available in select grades, this innovative system uses a built-in infrared sensor to detect the body temperature of front and second row passengers, and automatically adjusts air flow settings to provide a smart, intuitive cooling experience. Advanced Safety Systems The all-new Nissan Patrol offers a comprehensive set of safety systems, including the 360-degree Panorama View system, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, and rear automatic braking. Protection has also been enhanced with a structure made of higher-density reinforced steel, along with seven airbags. Ongoing Commitment to Innovation and Excellence The launch of the all-new Nissan Patrol reinforces Nissan Egypt's position as the market leader, reaffirming its commitment to deliver automotive solutions that merge robust performance with advanced safety, luxurious comfort, and the latest technology. This new generation of Patrol exemplifies Nissan's vision of innovation, delivering world-class vehicles tailored to the needs of its Egyptian customers, making it the SUV of choice for those who demand excellence without compromise. تم نسخ الرابط

MAGALIESBERG, South Africa, July 10 (Reuters) - Nissan Motor (7201.T), opens new tab is still committed to growing in Africa, with plans to introduce new SUVs and new variants of existing models, its Africa president said on Thursday, even as speculation swirls around the future of its South African plant. New chief executive Ivan Espinosa unveiled sweeping cost cuts in May that included plans to shed 15% of the global workforce and close seven factories worldwide. Battered by declining sales in the United States and China, Nissan faces a mountain of debt repayment and is scrambling to upgrade its ageing vehicle line-up. "The plant is probably still under study, but there's no statement I can do today," Vila told reporters at the launch of Nissan's Navara Stealth pickup truck. The plan for South Africa includes introducing the Patrol SUV along with two new SUV models next year. This year, Nissan launched a commercial panel-van variant of its Magnite compact SUV to attract business clients, replacing its half-ton NP200 pickup. On Thursday, it launched a new variant of its popular Navara pickup truck, called the Stealth, valued from 695,200 rand ($39,200).
