BUS HORROR Cops release CCTV photo in hunt for man after victim 'sexually assaulted' on city bus COPS have released CCTV of a man they are hunting in connection with an alleged sexual assault. The victim was targeted while travelling on a bus in Oxford last month. 1 Thames Valley Police is searching for a man after an alleged sexual assault was committed on an Oxford bus Credit: Not known, clear with picture desk Both the victim and alleged attacker got on the number 35 bus opposite a Sainsbury's in St Aldates. They were sitting next to each other at the time of the alleged assault, which occurred at around 4.50pm on July 3. Thames Valley Police said that the offender touched the victim inappropriately over their clothing. It was confirmed by the force that the victim was a man in his 20s. The victim got off the bus, while their attacker stayed on until he reached his stop. Investigating officer PC Joshua Longmate called on anyone with information to get in touch. He said: 'We are releasing an image of a man who we believe may have vital information about this incident. 'If you recognise him, or if this is you, we would ask you to please contact Thames Valley Police via 101 or make a report online quoting reference 43250333562. 'We would also ask any passengers on this bus journey who have any witness information that may support our investigation, to please get in touch with the force. 'If you do not wish to speak to the police directly, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111." More to follow...
