"Let Us Live In Peace": Revanth Reddy To Andhra Over Irrigation Projects
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Saturday urged Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to allow Telangana's crucial irrigation projects to proceed, while simultaneously issuing a stark warning of confrontation if his pleas go unheard. Mr Reddy underscored the vital importance of projects such as the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, along with Dindi, Kalwakurthy, Bheema, Nettempadu, and Koilsagar for Telangana's development. He urged his Andhra counterpart to act responsibly and not obstruct the initiatives. "Let us live in peace," he said. The Telangana Chief Minister warned that if Andhra Pradesh continues to obstruct Telangana's water interests, particularly by not withdrawing the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project, Telangana would be prepared to fight for its rights. He highlighted that the Rayalaseema project, which reportedly diverts 3 TMCs of water daily from the Krishna River, poses a significant threat to Telangana's water availability. Mr Reddy also recalled that many irrigation projects, particularly Bhima and Nettempadu in the undivided Mahabubnagar district, were inaugurated during Mr Naidu's tenure as the Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh. "How can he justify obstructing the very projects that were initiated during his tenure as Chief Minister and whose works began when he was Leader of the Opposition in undivided Andhra Pradesh?" Mr Reddy questioned, urging the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister to show magnanimity and support the completion of the long-delayed irrigation works. The Telangana Chief Minister also criticised former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), accusing him of neglecting the Palamuru projects during his tenure and spending a large amount of money on the Kaleshwaram project - which he claimed had become defunct. Mr Reddy asserted his commitment to lead the battle for Telangana's water rights and confidently stated his intention to remain Chief Minister until 2034. He also mentioned his government's achievements, including filling 60,000 government jobs in the first year and attracting significant investments through overseas tours.

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy urges Chandrababu Naidu to scrap RLIS, allow completion of Telangana irrigation projects; slams K Chandrasekhar Rao for ‘neglecting' Mahabubnagar
HYDERABAD: Chief minister A on Friday said if Andhra Pradesh CM was sincere about equal development of both Telugu states, then he should scrap the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme (RLIS) and allow to complete irrigation projects in Palamuru (erstwhile Mahabubnagar district). Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Addressing a public meeting in Kollapur in Nagarkurnool district, Revanth reminded Naidu that some projects in undivided Mahabubnagar district were started when the latter was the CM of united Andhra Pradesh. "Meeru Vignulu (learned person). Come forward and cooperate, allowing Telangana to complete the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme, Dindi, Kalwakurthy, Bima, Nettempadu and Koil Sagar projects. All these projects began either when you (Naidu) were the CM of the undivided state or leader of the opposition," Revanth said. Stop RLIS aimed at taking away 3 TMC water daily. How far is it justified on your part to oppose these projects now? I am requesting the AP CM not to oppose these projects and be responsible. Allow us to live. Let us complete our projects, Revanth said in reference to their meeting convened by the Union Jal Shakti ministry to resolve river issues . Revanth said people of Palamuru never forget favours and would always hold Naidu in high regard if he cooperated. "If Naidu doesn't cooperate, Palamuru biddalu (children) know how to fight and achieve their rights, and Revanth would lead that fight," the CM said. During his over one-hour speech, Revanth mainly targeted former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao for his comments that he ( ) was pained to see people suffering under Congress govt. Listing out the schemes of the Congress govt for women, farmers, youth and others, Revanth asked KCR if he was pained because these sections were reaping the fruits of welfare projects. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Revanth said KCR betryaed the people of Palamuru who stood by him when he had contested from the Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha seat for the cause of Telangana. "KCR did not complete any project in the district. What has KCR done for this district in his nearly 10-year rule?" Revanth asked. He added: "KCR, your pain is going to continue till 2034 as the Congress is going to be in power for 10 years. There is no relief for you. The pain will further engulf you, making you cry more. KCR, whether you are pained, or you jump into the well or immolate yourself or your children resort to it, the Palamuru bidda (Revanth) is going to be the CM for 10 years, and this district will lead the state administration." "My only wish is that you come to the assembly so that we can expose the injustices done by you to this district and you break down in repentance after listening to the good work being done in this prajala palana," Revanth said. The CM said it was his responsibility to complete all the projects in the district and transform it from being a migration-prone area to a model district which rules Telangana. Revanth reiterated that the govt will fill another 40,000 vacancies by June 2026, taking the total recruitments to one lakh in two-and-a-half years of Congress govt. Prior to the public meet, the CM offered prayers at a temple, laid the foundation stone for Young India Integrated Residential School.

CM, Ministers delivering people's governance, says Jagga Reddy
Hyderabad: Telangana PCC working president T Jagga Reddy asserted here on Friday that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and ministers were delivering people's governance, whereas KCR's 10 years were farmhouse governance. Addressing the press at Gandhi Bhavan, Reddy said the CM and ministers were visiting Delhi to bring funds for Telangana, unlike KCR, who never met the central government. The BRS leaders appear nervous and paranoid. 'We don't need to spy on them, if we want to counter them, we'll do it politically. KCR is scared to face Revanth Reddy directly, that's why he avoids attending the Assembly. Harish Rao is acting like a big actor, while Uttam Kumar Reddy is a true fighter, a former fighter pilot', he remarked. He stated that the BRS leaders question why Revanth doesn't say 'Jai Telangana', but they removed 'Telangana' from their own party name (TRS to BRS). 'Answer that first,' he demanded. 'People are aware of what happened during KCR's 10 years as CM. He stayed away from the Secretariat and public and never engaged with the Centre. After losing power, the BRS leaders are in shock because they lost their luxuries', he said. Reddy said the CM and ministers are working to secure central funds. 'That's their duty as elected leaders. The BRS leaders were resting in farmhouses while we're fulfilling responsibilities the people entrusted to us', he said. He told the BRS leaders: 'During your rule, people didn't even know where the Secretariat was. KCR and his family kept meeting Jagan and Lokesh secretly while in power, even under BJP direction in farmhouses'. The senior Congress leader advised KTR: 'Don't demand answers from Revanth about 'Jai Telangana' when your party dropped 'Telangana' from its own name'. He described Harish Rao as a good actor. But Uttam isn't one; he's a real fighter. He said KCR was a TDP MLA three times, even a minister and Deputy Speaker before Revanth even joined politics.'So who really is the student of Chandrababu? KCR or Revanth? Stop calling Revanth a follower of Chandrababu when your own father served in his Cabinet. Congress runs people-centric governance; KCR only did farmhouse politics', he said.

Revanth urges Naidu to cancel R'seema Lift Irrigation Project
Hyderabad/Nagarkurnool: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has appealed to his Andhra Pradesh counterpart N Chandrababu Naidu to cancel the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project and instead support the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation scheme considering the challenges facing the people of Palamuru district. Addressing a public meeting on Friday at Jatrapole after laying the foundation stones for a slew of developmental works in Nagarkurnool district, the Chief Minister said that the AP Chief Minister, being in a responsible position, should help the people of Palumuru to overcome their problems and lead a happy life. Since the Palamuru Lift Irrigation Scheme was a lifeline for the local people, the Chief Minister sought the cooperation of Chandrababu to complete the project without creating any hurdles. 'We are appealing to AP to help Telangana in the completion of the Palamuru project and cancel the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme', the Chief Minister said, while sounding a warning: 'Palamuru people know how to fight and achieve their rights if the AP government is reluctant to accept their pleas.' In a vitriolic attack on former chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Revanth Reddy held the previous BRS government responsible for not completing the projects in Palamuru district. The CM said: 'KCR abandoned Palamuru projects, including the Palamuru Rangareddy project, during his 10-year regime. Kalwakurthy, Nettempadu, and Bima projects were left in the lurch. The former CM has completed only the Kaleshwaram project with Rs 1 lakh crore and the project became 'Kuleshwaram' in just three years.' The Chief Minister highlighted the state government's efforts to complete all pending projects in the next two years. Palamuru would not have faced drought conditions had the KCR government completed the projects, he averred. The Chief Minister recalled how Palamuru people admired KCR and gave him a big mandate by electing the BRS leader as the Lok Sabha MP. The former CM deceived Valmiki Boya community by not including them in the ST community list, despite several appeals from the community, Revanth Reddy said. Revanth asked: 'Why is KCR feeling sad after the son of Palamuru became Chief Minister of the Telangana State and is striving to continue as CM for 20 years with an aim to develop the most backward Palamauru district?' The Chief Minister lambasted KCR for targeting the people's government which had been fulfilling the promises made to the farming community. 'Within 9 days, the state government deposited Rs 9,000 crore in the farmers' accounts under Rythu Bharosa.' Asserting that he will be the Chief Minister of Telangana from Palamuru until 2034, Revanth Reddy said that the government had already filled more than 60,000 jobs in the government sector. One lakh jobs will be filled before the completion of two and half years of the 'people's government', he underlined.
