KTM has officially pulled the wraps off the 2026 KTM 690 Enduro R and 2026 KTM 690 SMC R, marking the next evolution of its LC4 single-cylinder platform. With bold new styling, both models aim to dominate their respective territories, from remote off-road trails to tight twisty powertrainBoth machines are powered by KTM's latest Euro 5+ compliant 692.7cc LC4 single-cylinder, the most powerful production single-cylinder engine on the market. For 2026, it gets a revised crankcase, clutch, and stator cover, plus a redesigned oil system for better reliability and heat management. Output remains an impressive 79bhp and 73Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission and Keihin EMS with ride-by-wire for razor-sharp throttle KTM 690 Enduro R The Enduro R retains its hardcore dual-sport DNA but gains key upgrades for both trail and street: Electronics suite: Cornering ABS, Cornering MTC, plus the all-new Dynamic Slip Adjust (part of optional RALLY mode) for terrain-adaptive traction 4.2-inch full-color TFT display, redesigned switchgear, USB-C charging port, LED headlight. Suspension: WP XPLOR-USD fork and WP XPLOR rear shock with Pro-Lever linkage, offering 265mm front and 250mm rear travel, fully adjustable.
